Do NOT recommend-I have had 3 separate incidents, plumbing, AC unit, and appliance attempted to be repaired in the last 9 months- none of them have been successful. I had a double oven with the top oven working but the bottom broken, after they left neither have worked! 2 months without a working oven, finally got a second opinion to come look and he fixed it back to the initial condition. They had blown my control panel and left me abandoned- said it could not be fixed.

After 1 year through AHS my AC and heat is still not fixed. They even sent a guy out and turned off my heat because of a crack in my heat exchanger, and the next guy just turned it back on which is a Federal Offense. These guys KNOW how to avoid fixing units and they tell you not to call AHS to call them which is against the rules with AHS. Luckily I recorded what the guys had to say and may file charges.

GREAT JOB GREENWAY!!!! \n\nMy air went out on Sunday and I called around to see who I could get service from quickly. Greenway immediately called me back even though their office was closed! Greenway was out within 2 hours had my unit up and running and explained everything that was going on to me! They did such a good job I signed up for their yearly agreement. \n\nPrice was right and they took care of us quickly! Great company to deal with!

We called Greenway because of a bad outdoor faucet. They were able to come out on a Saturday morning, not affecting my work week. The faucet was great, but began to leak a few weeks after it was installed. Greenway handled this with no questions by replacing a faulty part of the faucet. They have called the check on me twice since then. Great company!

My home warranty company uses Greenway and they sent them to my house to look at a waterheater that was leaking. I called for service on Tuesday and they were able to get someone out to me that same day! Not only was the office and the technician friendly, but I felt that I could trust them and they would do a good job. The technician went over some options and we decided to get a tankless waterheater !!!! The best thing was the price! We paid $3300 and when we called around they were installing the same brand, but for $400-2,000 less then the other guys!! The installers were great!! They put floor protectors out. They cleaned up behind themselves! The explained everything! Really good service, because when my waterheater was leaking I dreded to see who was going to be replacing it. Great service and a few days later they called to check to see how everything was going! They are a must!!!!!!!

I've used this company quite a few times because they are contracted by my home warranty company (American Home Shield). I never had a problem with them until April of this year. I had a service call for three toilets and one sink in my house. The technician told my husband that the parts needed to fix the toilet in the master bedroom were discontinued and that he would turn it in to AHS. Well, it's October and this toilet STILL has not been replaced. I have gotten the worst run around I've ever gotten in my life. \n\nAfter not hearing anything for a couple of weeks, I called to check the status. They said they would turn it in and that I would then hear from AHS. After hearing nothing for a MONTH, I called back again and spoke with Doug. He had no record of me having a toilet that needed to be replaced. His ""records"" showed that everything was fixed. Then he lied and said that the technician that came didn't turn that in and that he no longer worked for the company. He said he would look into it and call me back. That was the first of five times he said that and NEVER called me back. This went on (me calling to check on it, Doug saying he was going to call me back and never did) until August, when I called AHS to complain about them and AHS called Greenway. Then Doug called me to set up for a technician to come out and look at my toilet again. \n\nHe said that it wouldn't cost my anything (obviously because they were still handling what they didn't fix in the first place). The same technician that came before came this time (yeah, the one Doug lied and said no longer worked for the company). He remember everything that was going on with the toilet. And he said he was on sick leave, by the way. So, all that time passed when they could have just called him to ask him about the toilet a long time ago. So, after that, they were supposed to turn it in and take care of it that time. Remember, it's October and it's STILL not taking care of. So, by September, when I called AHS to check on it, and they said Greenway still hadn't turned anything in. I started calling and asking to speak with the owner. I have left 3 messages for her and SHE has never called me back either. So, now I'm not surprised that Doug didn't call me back all those times. He's just following his example. \n\nTwo weeks ago Greeway FINALLY turned my toilet payout to AHS, BUT, they are showing that I owe a service fee from the time the sent the technician out to my house again. So, AHS is deducting that from my payout. I called Doug to get it fixed. His response was ""Oh! I see what happened. Mrs. Moore I going to take care of this for you right now."" Yeah, STILL hasn't been done. \n\nI don't want anything else to do with this company. At first I was going to just let it go, because they did fine all of the other times they came out. But now, I'm done. I unfortunately have to have them finish this out and fix the toilet because my payout would only be for $125. I don't see any plumbing company replacing a toilet for that cost. So the only choice I have is to either pay the rest out of pocket, or have Greenway replace it. I'm at a rock in a hard place. Either way, I'm putting Greenway on my refused list with AHS, and I will be informing everyone that I can about their service.

I had Greenway at my home about 2 years ago and had a NIGHTMARE experience. We won't even go into that. The NEW GREENWAY came to my home last week because my refrigerator was not working. They came out on the same day I requested service, ordered a part from my home and were back in 2 days. My wife was exstatic. They have completely changed their ways in everything from field service to customer service. The gentleman that came to my home was incredible and the gentleman inside the office was even better. I neede repair to my dishwasher before the 4th of July Holiday and I called my home warranty company who got me in touch with Greenway Home Services. I called them on a Thursday and they were out that same day and had the part on their truck that was needed! My dishwasher was up and running before my 30 guest arrived! I couldn't be happier! Because of our team and hard work we are growing extremely fast. I worked for Greenway in Nashville they are horriable to all the customers. Whitney Greenway the owners daughter tells her workers when they have customers on the phone that want to speak with her to make an excuse because she doesnt want to deal with it. this is the worse place for customer service. I worked for Greenway in Nashville they are horriable to all the customers. I got to endure their service through the AHS. They needed to repair the cooling of the second floor system in my home-it could run for hours, but did not cool below 80F. So, their guy put some freon in the system, asked me to sign a service agreement with them and after I refused, he left. No positive result on the cooling afterwards. Called them again, this time the next guy told me the system needed to be cleaned to run well and as cleaning was not covered, he told me to pay extra $180. He also offered again their service agreement for ""only"" $250 to cover both systems of the first and second floor to be serviced twice a year. So, I paid $250, he cleaned both units and then told me that the unit for the first floor does not run and needs a compressor change. Mind you, that unit was running very well before being cleaned! So, he told me he would order the compressor and left leaving me without cooling on both floors in the hot June days! After I called AHS several times they agreed to send another company, Citywide, to inspect the case. Their service guy came on the second day, told me the unit for the first floor was missing some parts, but the compressor was fine. So, he installed the missing parts and made it running in no time! On his next visit the same guy from Citywide inspected the unit on the second floor, the one that had problems on the first place, told me it was overloaded with freon, fixed it and and now both units are running fine after 3 weeks misery. I tried to cancel the second part of the service agreement with Greenway and get a refund for at least halve the sum, but they refused on the grounds, that it was ""a package"".. In conclusion, never, ever call Greenway- they are bunch of liars, cheaters, and robbers!

I called my warranty company with a refrigerator problem. They sent Greenway to make the repairs. Their technician came out within 24 hours. He was in uniform, polite, covered his shoes before walking into my home and was quite knowledgeable. After he made the repairs, he tested it, left me a magnet with the company info and told me if I had any further problems with anything at all to call them directly and they would secure the necessary work order from my warranty company. One less step for me to worry about! Within 24 hours after the repair, an office staff memeber called to check that everything was okay and thanked me for my business. An overall wonderful, stressfree experience! I will recommend them to everyone.

He was in uniform, polite, covered his shoes before walking into my home and was quite knowledgeable. After he made the repairs, he tested it, left me a magnet with the company info and told me if I had any further problems with anything at all to call them directly and they would secure the necessary work order from my warranty company. One less step for me to worry about! Within 24 hours after the repair, an office staff memeber called to check that everything was okay and thanked me for my business. An overall wonderful, stressfree experience! I will recommend them to everyone.

After four of there guys have been to our house our units is still not fixed. They have lied to us a number of times. I have a 79 and 78 year old mother and father in law that live with us I have a wife on chemo and she can not even sleep in her bed for over a month. All I can say I if you need any kind of work done DO NOT USE GREENWAY!!!!!!! All you will get is a run around and nothing done.

I called Greenway Home Services after been giving their number. They are a recommended company on my HOA list of repair companies for appliance, plumbing and air and heat repair. I called them out for my icemaker not working. I was very please with their customer service. The technician came in and informed me of the problem and what the it would cost me to repair it. With this economy I wanted to see if I went ahead with repairs if they could help me out with the cost. The technician John called his manager, Whitney, I believe to be one of the owners?, and she offerred to help out to give me 10% off of the estimate. If you ask you shall receive!! I agreed and the technician had the parts on his van came in made the repair and was in and out of my home within an hour. The company called me a few days later asking about how it was working and I was impressed because they cared. I have ice from my refridge now and I cannot say enough about this service call. Very polite, informative and ACCOMODATING! We highly recommend Greenway Home Services as a company that does it all in the Brentwood area!

I called AHS, who has my home warranty contract, and told them my a/c was out. Keep in mind it was 95 degrees this past week in Nashville and I could not keep my family in a house that was hotter than the weather outside!! The assigned Greenway Home Services as my service provider. Usually I have to wait a day or longer for a contractor to call me back but I received a call from Greenway within a few hours and they had an appointment set for me for the following day, which was a Wednesday afternoon. I recieved another call from them that same afternoon stating that they had a cancellation and would like to move me up if I was available. Of course I could be!! I had a friendly technician come to my home that evening around 6:30. That technician I know had to be hot and miserably because it was over 95 degrees and he was still out working and I am sure he was in the weather all day, but he was pleasant and what caught me of guard was he was aware of my home and was so respectable! He came into the house and put on these green booties before entering so not to track up my new hardwood floors. He fixed my unit in a timely manner and informed me about routine maintenance. When my husband arrived in the middle of the repairs he also spoke to him about this maintenance plan with no after hour fees and guarenteed 24 hour service. We are now a preferred customer of greenway home services and I must say they really surprised me! I have had a few companys out that did work for AHS and I must say this was by far the best experience we have received! We are a fan of AHS but with this economy we are debating on dropping our contract with them next year, but we feel safe knowing we have found a company that does what they say and are so pleasant. Thanks Greenway for helping us keep our cool! If you get this company from AHS you have gotten a winner!!

I don't understand how this company stays in business and why American Home Shield continues to use them as one of their contractors. I called for a leaky valve on my master shower Feb. 3, 2009 as of today MAY 28TH!!! it still is not fixed. First they refused it because of ""non-standard plumbing installation."" (my 80 year old father in law put JBweld on the hand faucet because it was falling off.) In front of the repairman I crumbled it off easily with my fingers - it had the consistency of dried mud. Greenway told AHS that I would need to get a licensed plumber out to the house to take care of the ""non-standard installation. "" Three weeks later and after numerous phone calls they agreed that it was fine and they could proceed. I cannot tell you how many times I have been called by Whitney (? owner's daughter) to say they would be at my home on say next Wed. morning, I stayed home from work, no one comes, I call Greenway and they say, ""No, we only said we'd try to get there on Wed."" Then they would call and say the repairman would be there for sure the following Thursday because ""the part wasn't in."" Thursday would come and go with no call and no one showing up. Then I would call AHS - go through the whole phone menu driven process - go through the entire history of this call - mind you it went on for months and months! Greenway has done one thing consistently - lied to me, made promises, never showed up, never returned calls. American Home Shield finally sent another contractor ARS (great plumbers!) and AHS agreed to refund my silly $60 service call, and to put a notation on my account that Greenway was not to ever do any repair work at our home again. THANKS A LOT! - aftere nearly 4 months without the use of my shower. DO NOT USE THESE CLOWNS - EVEN IF AHS ASSIGNS THEM TO YOUR CALL. THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST!

During his troubleshooting he supposidly blew a fuse and noted a couple of other issues. Did not tell my 37 week pregnet wife that the er heat wasn`t going to work. Began calling the answering service at 9pm until 1 am. awaiting the on call tech to call me back to tell me were the blown fuse is. No one has called back. I have checked online with Better Buisness Bureau of nashville and they have complaits against them. I am beginning to question the home warreenty i have purchased from American Home Shield. I will let ya`ll know how this ends.

I am seeking to file a Class action against Greenway Home Services. My Home warranty company AHS(American Home Shield), sent Greenway out to my house after my upstairs unit stopped cooling. This was over a year ago. They have been out no less than 5-6 times. Every time, they add a little freon, and go on their way. I'm an engineer by trade and caught on to their scheme. I had to threaten with a suit to get my cooling coil condemned, and get a new one put in. Greenway put it in and 10 minutes later it was spewing freon in the attic. They came again and said there must be a leak.. Duh! I have sinced threatened them with another class action that if the unit isn't condemned and a new unit brought in I will file a class action suit. They were supposed to contact me today; acutally yesterday after the workman left. Still have not recieved a call. Snakes, swindelers, liars and theives.
