Also known as "Baldwin Automotive". I took my Subaru Forester to this shop in the winter of 2012 because it was smoking and burning oil. The owner, Jim, said that he thought it needed new valve guide seals, possibly new valve guides, and I agreed to let him fix it for me. After four weeks of never calling me once with updates and continually pushing back my pick-up date I finally got my car back. It ran fine for less than 3 weeks before I started noticing the problems returning. I brought it back to him and he said that the machine shop he had do the valve job must have not done it correctly and that he would have them fix it. Well, after another 4 weeks I had to call again to find out when my car would be ready. When I got there Jim told me that he had installed parts I never authorized which I refused to pay for. Not only that but the car is still smoking and as far as I know nothing was repaired at all. $1700+ and a total of 8 weeks out of my car and for what??? I urge you to take your vehicles ANYWHERE else. Also, when I received the car back the first time the power door locks had mysteriously stopped working and Jim refused to admit that it was something they had done. Unbelievable experience. Never again.
