Oh FYI for anyone living in or near T-County! DO NOT go to Accutech for any sort of needs.. TV/Computer/Electronic Repair. These people charged us 70 dollars to look at both of our laptops. One had a powering up issue and the other needs to have the backlight bulb replaced. The one with the backlight they told us wasn't worth fixing (even though we rigged it to know if they even checked it and they didn't even touch it) the other one they told us it had a bad mother board (we knew they didnt check this one either) and was going to cost us a pretty penny to get fixed. Well we took it home and took a voltage meter (which WE should have done to start with) and finds out the power cable was bad. $20 replacement part is all we had to do. We called back up there and they told bascially that they assured us that they told us the truth and that we didnt know what we were talking about. Im really thinking about calling the bank and refusing the charges. They did nothing but scam us!!! Im still pretty pissed off about this and I'm making a call to the Better Business Bureau today.

I had a horrible experience trying to get repair done on my 60" television. Ron, the tech, came by my house, pulled a part, got $65.00 from me and he and his wife, Sandy, lied from day 1. I have never in my life heard so many excuses. They had my part for 3 months. What they do is, get the initial fee and rip you off. I really don't know if they do any work at all. When I reported them to the BBB, they just denied everything, just as they have here! Finally, I went and picked up my part from them after they lied that they had ordered my replacement. I think maybe Andy Wise needs to find out DOES IT WORK!!!! I will never, never send anybody to these people!!! They have the character of DRUG ADDICTS!!

This place is the worst excuse foor a business I have ever seen.
You cannot get in the door for all the junk in the front room.
I dropped my tv off for repair and there was a 55.00 fee for an estimate, I understand that.
It was 2 months before I heard from them so I called them.
She said the tech. was working on it rite now, that they have been so busy they just got to it.
When she told me he was working on it rite now, when I got off the phone I went down there and guess what. My TV was rite where I left it, it had not even been moved.
I do not suggest going to this company.
I do not care if he is the best repairman in the world they do not know how to conduct business.
After calling the better business bureau {the BBB} they told me they had lots and lots of complaints about him.
So if you want your TV fixed in a timely manner DO NOT GO HERE.
They used to work out of their house on hwy 51, and store customers tv's outside under a carport. then they moved to a hole in the wall place on hiway 51 that is very small, You can't even walk around in there.
WARNING DO NOT GO THERE..................

Professional, friendly service - Lightning damaged my house & a few electronic items were damaged by it. Took them to Accutech & had estimates for repair in a couple days that I could use to document my insurance company ( I plan on upgrading the stuff that was damaged ) - This is the only company ( & I called around ) that will diagnose & give you an estimate on just about any electronic item - A++++

Do not get ripped off by this company and learn the hard lesson like I have. Droped off my 62 in DLP television on 17 Apr, 2009, Picked up unrepaired television on 15 Dec, 2009. As a matter of fact the television is in worst condition now than it was when I dropped it off 8 monthes ago. The television had a slightly distorted picture and a couple of red spots on the screen. The television now will not power up at all. Numerous reasons given for the delays in the repair include: Technician was unable to troubleshoot properly due to not have the correct software and tools from Panasonic. Unable to obtain repair parts. The customer service and communications were horrible. I was able to solve that issues by calling the Better Business Bureu. After the call from the BBB to the company the original repair quote of just over $500 jumped to nearly $3000 (the television cost around $2000 brand new). Once I informed them that I would not pay for the $3000 repair I was called nearly daily to come and pick up my television.

Business Response:

Tech When we received this unit, the customer had already been into the unit and had already broken a couple of plugs. There was also a board partially removed that is can be distroyed by static. When comfronted with the damage and the cost to repair , we ALWAYS GIVE an ESTIMATE FIRST,the customer ,after a lenthly delay, became distraught and decided to pick it up.We had no problem with that, and this is the frist time that I have heard from him since.

STOP - do not go here for any repair.

I dropped off my Sony KV-40XBR800 TV to them on 11/17/2008 and still don't have it back yet - 1/5/2009. They quoted me a part that needs replacing, the d-board at $749.00 plus tax and shipping which I found on the internet, at the manufacturer, for $179.00 (yes they want to make $600 on the part alone and then charge me for installation). I stopped by the shop to verify the price and showed them the factory part I had with me. They were hesitant to put it in saying he could not give me the 90 day warranty he usually gives. The part comes with a year warranty from Sony. I have not been able to get a straight answer from them in almost 2 months. I was promised a call from them on 11/19/2008 and finally gave up and called them after 3 weeks to the tune of excuses only.

You will be aghast the moment you step into the house (business) based on the clutter. I bet they have several TVs that were misplaced in all the stuff strewn about.

Update 1/12/2009 - I finally got a call back from this so called company 4 days after I dropped of the $179.00 power board (d-board) I bought directly from Sony that Accutech wanted to charge me $749.00 plus tax and shipping for and was told that it was not the power board that was the problem but the video board (m-board). They said they never said anything about the d-board even though and I handed the d-board to the so called technician personally 4 days prior. So now I have his wife telling me on the phone that it is the wrong part and she never said it was the d-board. The m-board is available from Sony for $179.00 and guess what they wanted for it? Yo guessed it $749.00 plus tax and shipping.

I told them not to do anything to the TV and I will be there to pick it up. I brought the part and TV back to the house (the TV weighs about 300 lbs) and installed the d-board in about an hour?you guessed it, the TV works great. I am really disgusted with everything about this husband and wife team of rip off artists from the weeks of no contact to the expected $600.00 profit for ordering a part. I paid them $55.00 for an estimate when I dropped off the TV in November 2008 and will call it a $55 and 2 month learning experience.

Business Response:

Tech We have posted on all of the other databases concerning this matter. This customer just wanted something for nothing , and when we gave this customer the estimate , and were unable to make a deal , as he put it, he just went off , so we told him that he must come and pick up his unit. Some people just want something for nothing.
