The first time was a Saturday evening in Jan, and the place was SO crowded, and SO loud. We started with Oysters on the half shell which were quite nice. We had a big bowl of crawfish, and there were some nice large ones in there! It wasn't that spicy, but it was tasty enough. I thought the potatoes and corn were kind of bland. BUT the peach bread pudding was phenomenal - light meringue on top and smothered in a delicious cream sauce!

I have been a loyal customer of King Fish since their opening. I have tried several menu options and found them all to be very bland. On this particular visit I decided to try the shrimp dinner which was priced at a hefty $10.69. It only came with about 6 shrimp and the okra had to have been cooked hours before I came. In addition to this the staff is not friendly, they do not greet you at all when you enter. They also do not ask for your order, they simply look at you and wait for you to begin telling them what you want. Also, I ordered my food to go and asked if they had a certain condiment in to-go packs and they said no and that they would not put any in a container for me because patrons had been stealing it... and when I asked to speak to a manager (who clearly was having a bad day) he informed me that I couldn't have any in a to-go container because it costs him $4 a bottle!
NEVER AGAIN WILL I PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT !

If you want good fish that is full of flavor and not overpriced visit Tj's Fish, East Side Fish, or Old Timers.
