Very disappointed. We had the kids looking picture perfect for our 1:40 appointmemt, arrived early, only to be informed that it would be 1+ hours before our session would start. Wait....what? If a 3:00 appointment would have worked with

I took my son for his 18 month photos. The photographer was BEYOND irritated that my son wasn't cooperating. He acted like it was MY fault that he wasn't posing. Then when it came to picking out the pictures, he rushed me through

Until this year 2010, we had a great experience. This year is different -- the new manager is rude, unorganized and a terrible photographer. He had one picture with shadow on my daughter's face that made her look like she was missing a tooth!
They were 45 minutes late taking us -- then made us wait another 30 mintues to get in the second room -- My daughters are 8 adn 11 -- I can't imagine being there with young children.

If you want good quality photo's -- Go to Annies Photography in Mt Juliet

I was totally impressed and very pleased with everything about Portrait Innovations. The appointment I made was for 5pm on a Thursday. We were running late so I called to let them know and they assured me everything was fine. When we got there we were welcomed into a very open setting for a portrait studio. No little dark room in the back with lights and a camera. It felt good to be in a wide-open space! My son was getting graduation pictures made and all of the staff made him feel like he was a VIP! They made suggestions for poses that were great and also accepted his ideas for poses. It was incredible the number of pictures they took! They carefully guided us through the selection process and then we walked out with our pictures! Other studios make you come back for a proof session then you have to come back to pick up your pictures or wait for them to come in the mail. This was so much better.
I read the other reviews and I'm sorry they had a bad time, but I was very happy with the way things went. I'll be back!

My special needs son had his senior pictures done at PI and I spent a lot of money. I enjoyed the pictures and recommended to several friends that PI would be a good place to go get pictures made. However I was wrong, yesterday I went for the 9.95 special but was told my son was not eligible for the special because he was an adult. If I wanted to be in the picture it would have been fine. But I wanted a Christmas picture of just him. Yes, he is an adult because of his age, but his mental status is no where near adult. Not being eligible for the special just because you only what one adult in the picture is strange to say the least. What about single adults? They get penalized and don't get the special just because they are single? I even asked if he would qualify because he is special needs, the employee said that it didn't matter. In other words, don't bother us to care or give good customer service! I will NOT recommend them any longer. I probably would have brought several pictures because I am proud of my son and like to give out his pictures. But they missed out on an opportunity to please a customer and have me continue to recommend them to others. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING, YOU WILL REGRET IT!

For two years in a row, I have had to wait over an hour just to begin my session. I then had to wait to get into the second studio, wait for a place to view my pictures, then they expect you to wait thirty minutes for your pictures to print.
I made an appointment. However, when I arrived, the store was crowded with people who had also been waiting over an hour. Everyone was complaining. It is very difficult to wait this long with a small child. When I called to make my appointment, I asked if I could call an hour ahead to make sure they were running on schedule. I was told "no, that is just the way it is." "We have 63 people booked for Sat." This tells me that they PURPOSELY overbook...they don't care that you have to wait. When I finally got in the studio, I felt rushed. The employee who helped my seemed tired. Every request I made seemed like too much trouble. I will never go back here again. The 9.95 deal is nice, but it isn't worth going through this much torture. What a terrible experience...two years in a row.
