.

I would have given a 0 star rating - however, that option is not available.

I had a issue with a drain. I was at work, so my neighbor let the service Tech in. The Tech called to let me know the he would have to pull the toilet to fix the drain. He said he would replace the toilet.

About 8 wks later the toilet started to become quite loose - and you could hear water when another toilet in the house or faucet was being used.
I call and talked to the owner. She said " how do we know a child has not messed with the toilet, or a large person has not used the toilet" Not sure about you, but, I have never know of any child who took a toilet apart.
The owner then hung up on me despite the fact that I had never raised my voice or used improper language.
I called back later that day and talked to the owner's son. He said they would be happy to come back out for another $75 min. When I told him that this was not good customer service, and that word of mouth was your best advertising - he told me that they had been in business for over 20 yrs and was not worried.
This past weekend, I pulled the toilet MYSELF ( I am a 52 yr old woman) This is what I found :
First off, the non-existant flange was there ~ stuck to the bottom of the toilet in the old wax. A new wax ring had not been used, if it had been the "Tech" would have found the missing flange. Without the new wax ring - there was not a good seal which is why I could hear water. This is also a health issue as methane fumes can be released into the home. I had been leaving the bathroom window open - due to the smell. The only thing holding the toilet on was the old wax and a bunch of caulk. The Tech knew that this was not right - yet, he put the toilet back in that manner. After all, who would ever see it?
I'm sure that the Drain Dr. has done some good jobs - this however was not one of them. It's pitiful when a company feel that the fact that they have been in business for years means that customer does not matter. It's even more pitiful when a woman has to repair the work of a so called "Professional"
