My daughter got married Sept 6th. We originally had a terrible time with the previous owners of I do, I do Bridal, never returning phone calls or e-mails and lying about my daughter's dress and veil, saying it was ordered when, come to find out, it never was. These new owners, bent over backwards, to make my daughter happy on her wedding day. New owner, Jenna personally paid for my daughter's veil with her own credit card after she realized that the veil was ordered back in May, but never processed by the company. It turns out that the companies were putting holds on all the previous orders because Charlene (previous owner) took the money from her customers but never paid the companies themselves. Jenna even gave me her personal cell phone number so I would be able to contact her at any time
I am sick of these reviews telling half truths. How DARE anyone write a review to criticize someone without knowing the truth. These new owners bought the business, not knowing any of the trouble the previous store was in. They are determined to make it work and are committed to their customers!
I would definitely use this business next time and will recommend it highly to my friends! Thanks Jenna!

I am a bridesmaid in a Sept 2009 wedding and originally purchased my dress from I Do I Do while the previous owner was still around. After not getting our dresses in July or August even as promised, the new owner I guess sold her business to two new people and it now goes by the name Happily Ever After. Do not be fooled by this. We still had horrible service with the new owners. No one wanted to take responsibility for our missing dresses or for refunds. Finally the dresses came into the shop (turns out the previous owner never paid the dress company until just days ago), but the new owners did not overnight the dresses to the bridesmaids as promised (since the wedding is 12 days away and alterations needed to be made!) because she said it "just would have cost me too much money." Still a crappy business. Do not even bother with the new owners, go somewhere else!

I am a manager of a small bridal boutique in St.Louis and I frequently look on here to see what brides are thinking of the stores around us. I have never personally been into I do I do, but I have dealt with several emergency situations that come from them. As a bridal industry insider, I wanted to offer my opinion for what it's worth. The issue with getting things in on time seems to be the number one thing girls talk about. The bridesmaid designer's I work with usually ship within 10-12 weeks of the order being placed. Once I place the order I am given an approximate ship date in which I write in the customers file, so if they call and ask I can answer when it will be in. Bridal gowns take about 4 to 6 months to come in. The average lead time is about 4 1/2 months. Again, I will get the ship date for them. As a bride or bridesmaid, you have every right to call and ask for the ship date for your purchased item, and the employee is required to tell you. Keep in mind, every designer has different ordering times. In the typical situations, all of the garments for the wedding should arrive and be picked up about four months to the date of the event.Keep in mind, almost all dresses have to be altered. Allow time for this to take place!! We do not do alterations at my shop, which makes life so much easier. You have the choice to go to the one's I recommend but you by no means have to do them there.
As far as the customer service goes, it is completely unexceptable to never return calls, messages, or answer questions. I will admit that some days are a little crazy and it is impossible to answer the phone and return messages right away, but at some point, I WILL get back to you! When we work with our brides, we believe that there is a level of respect that must be present on both sides. By accomplishing this, we develop close bonds with our brides that allows us to feel less like just the person who sold them there dress.. and more like their friend! A wedding is such a special day in every girls life, and it needs to be treated as such. Every person in this business needs to realize that, because if they don't they will never succeed-much like I do I do!

I experienced the worst customer service possible at I Do I Do Bridal. My dress needed alterations on 3 hems on the top and some inches taken off the bottom. Charlene (not the seamstress) pinned me at my first fitting. I was pinned on my chest, not under my arms.

When I went to try the dress on the hems were not sewn straight, and it looked like a 2 year old had sewn it back together. Charlene tried to tell me that those hems would have never been touched. She didn??t have an answer for me when I explained that she was the one that had pinned me there. They had also taken the length off of the top layer of my dress, but not the lining or the tool. She agreed to have it fixed.

I called on the following Monday and left several messages to find out when my dress would be ready. On Tuesday, I still hadn??t been called back so I started calling again. I was told that it ??should? be ready by Thursday, but she would let me know for sure. Wednesday she still hadn??t called to confirm so I called again. I received a voicemail message stating that for ??unforeseen circumstances? the shop would be closing at 1:00 that day. At 12:45 I arrived at the shop to find that it had closed before 1:00 and I could see my dress hanging in the window, no alterations had been done. I left another voicemail stating that I was there and they had closed before they said they would.

Thursday morning at 11:00 I immediately started calling, frantic at this point. Charlene answered the phone and told me she had taken my dress to the seamstress late the night before. She wasn??t sure if it would be ready by my 4:30 appointment, but she would call and check. No call back of course. At 1:45 I still hadn??t heard anything so I called again and received their normal voicemail. At 2:00 I called and got a voicemail stating that the shop would be closed most of the afternoon and she would try to return by 4:30 for anyone who needed to pick up anything. I arrived at 4:30 and Charlene told me that the cups still hadn??t been sewn into my dress. I told her not to worry about it; I wanted to try on my dress. I COULDN??T EVEN ZIP IT. They had taken it in so much; it was about 1.5 inches away from zipping. All of the hems were still messed up and the bottom of my dress was entirely different lengths. She then started to tell me how I must be a ??problem? in the wedding b/c no one ever has issues with their dresses and/or alterations.

I had to take my dress to another shop to have it completely remade. Im not kidding, I sat and watched the seamstress completely rip out every hem in the top of my dress for 2 hours. I will be lucky if I have something to wear, the wedding is this Saturday! (Thanks to The Wedding Shoppe in Troy, MO I will actually have something to wear ? I highly recommend that shop).

I am not the only person in this wedding party that has had issues. One bridesmaid??s dress was ordered 4 sizes too big and another bridesmaid has made several attempts to pick hers up and has been unsuccessful. The shop is closed on Mondays and only opens 11-5 during the week. The shop even decided to close on Saturday without notifying anyone with an appointment; they just hung a note in the window.

Charlene was very rude to me and refused to return any phone calls, she is constantly making excuses for everything that she does. They are very un-organized and can??t even find your paperwork when you come in with questions. The floors are very dirty and stuff is shoved in every corner possible. If you do order your dress at this shop ? DO NOT HAVE YOUR ALTERATIONS DONE. I still havent been told who does their alterations, because I would like them to know all of the troubles they have caused me as well. DO NOT LET THIS SHOP RUIN YOUR WEDDING EXPERIENCE!!!!! I could go on and on about my horrible experiences there, how is a place like this allowed to be in business???

Cons: Never answers phone, horrible alterations, ruined my dress!!

ONE WEEK before the wedding, they told my bridesmaid her dress was not coming. Apparently they did not place the order on time, because she ordered it 18 weeks in advance and they said it took 14 weeks max. For the past month they avoided phone calls until she finally went, in person, and they admitted it wasn't coming. ONE WEEK BEFORE THE WEDDING!!!!!!!! The owner comes off as very nice when you meet her, but knowing how things really work there now, we'd never go back.

I am so upset over every little thing at this place that I will keep it short. They have done nothing but cause me stress and then when something goes wrong they turn it around and blame the customer!! I have never dealt with anyone like Charlene (AKA: the devil) and her business deserves to be shut down. I know some people who work at the local news station and we are working on getting something on air regarding her store. What she does is COMPLETE FRAUD and I do not want anyone else to have to go through what I did! She is a joke.....

Please if anyone else wants to get involved in this do NOT hesitate to e-mail me and let me know of your horror story. jmw410@gmail

They don't even deserve a one-star rating. I wish I had done more research before taking my bridal party into this store. We only drove all the way out there because my girls wanted a dress that was $235 at stores, but we found for $155 online, and they advertised that they did price-matching.

We first entered the store in October 2008. My wedding was June 20, 2009. We placed our order for the bridesmaid dresses in November and were told they'd be in by March (plenty of time...right?---wrong!).

After many phone calls in March, April, and May...the dresses finally came in town the last week in May (less than a month before the wedding). At the time, though, it didn't seem like that big of a problem, as all my girls were able to go in for their fittings, and there were still 3 weeks to get the alterations finished...or so we thought.

Long story short.... a week before the wedding, they had only altered one of the six dresses, and not only did the work look like a 5-year-old had done it, but one of the seams actually burst open right there in the store. After many more phone calls and many rude conversations with staff members, we were promised that the dresses would be finished.

Obviously they weren't...and some of them were actually taken out of town and weren't back until 2 days before the wedding, and STILL weren't altered. I am just in utter shock and disbelief at the way these people run their business.

Luckily, one of my friend's moms is a masterful seamstress, and she and a friend spent the entire 2 days before the wedding fixing the mistakes and completing the alterations.

DO NOT go to this store unless you want to go through crazy amounts of stress right before your big day.

My niece found her wedding & bridesmaids dresses here... my 2 daughters are both in the wedding. We have seen nothing but lies and the most unprofessional group of people in my life. I am a professional person - in business for over 20 years - and have never seen this type of treatment - ever. Lies, LIes, Lies. We got a flowergirl dress that was supposed to be new... but had been altered already; got the WRONG bridesmaid dresses - wrong color and style - and when she told them they were wrong they told her to "Lighten Up - the Wrong Dresses wouldn't ruin the wedding!! " Ha... what a joke. Of course they didn't come in until a few weeks prior to the wedding - three months late - so nothing could be done. She got the wrong color veil... too late to fix. So - they ended up buying most things twice - Maiden Voyage was very helpful, also Alter Fashions - they fixed a ton of mistakes. BRIDES - STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT YOUR PERFECT WEDDING!!!! Lies and deceit are what this shop is about.

I took my bridesmaids to I Do I Do Bridal because they were going to give a little more of a discount on the dresses we picked out than another store. Well I wish I had just gone with the original place we went to! After ordering the bridesmaid dresses, it took about 6 weeks for them to arrive. I went with my maid of honor to the store to pick up her dress. While we were there, we looked at the other dresses for my bridesmaids and noticed that the junior bridesmaid dress was WRONG! Instead of it being an ivory and clover dress it was all clover. I asked them to check their order and sure enough it showed that it was ordered properly, but they did not seem upset at the fact that my order was screwed up. They said they would have the manager call me the following Tuesday (we were there on a Saturday) and she never called. My mom had to go in and get on their case. They finally offered my junior bridesmaid a 30% discount off her dress and we kept it as it was. When my other bridesmaid went to pick up her dress, she tried it on and instead of it being a size 10, they ordered her a size 16! They claimed they ordered the correct measurements, but obviously they did not. Come to find out after my mom did a little digging, they only order all of their dresses over the phone and have no paper trail or confirmations of their orders. So even if they call in with the correct info, the person taking the order may not hear them correctly and write down the wrong thing, which is what happened to us. I strongly reccomend that you do not shop or buy at this shop! Their customer service is awful and they screw up orders! They have bad store hours as well. They are closed Sunday and Monday and are only open until 5pm Tuesday-Sauturday so if you work, you can never get there!

I purchased a wedding Dress at I do I do the dress i purchased was strait off of the floor and the one I was in love with they gave me a 50% discount for buying strait off of the floor and told me that they would clean the dress and tighten the bead work and also fix the back straps where they were starting to become loose. so I purchased the dress and was told that my dress would be ready no later than two weeks from the day i purchased it. I called a month and a half later almost every day for 2 weeks no one would answer so i left a message with my phone number. I recieved no answer back and finally on the last day of the 2nd week someone answered and informed me that my dress had not even been started on and would not be started on untill the end of August leaving me less than a month to get my dress altered and bustled.....(impossible first of all and second very stressful). I then told the lady on the phone that i have written documentation that my dress was to have been done close to a month ago and that they needed to remedy the problem ASAP. The lady was then very rude and told me that there was no way that that would happen and that my dress would not be touched until then because they fix dresses in the order of when the wedding is and not in the order they were bought........ When I started getting frustrated and telling her that i had a written paper dated from the day i bought the dress that it would be done two weeks later she then hung up on me......... NOW I DONT LIVE IN THE AREA IT ACTUALLY TAKES ME 3 HOURS TO GET TO CHESTERFIELD..... when I called back the lady told me that if i was unhappy I could pick up the dress with nothing done to it and take it somewhere else to get it fixed so needless to say I will be getting my dress this weekend and I will be having someone else fix it......... I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT SHOP AT I DO I DO BRIDAL ....... IT IS MORE OF A HEARTACHE AND A STRESS THAN ITS WORTH AND IN THE END YOU WONT EVEN GET THE SERVICES THAT THEY PROMISED.......... DO NOT GO TO I DO I DO BRIDAL.............

Pros: NOTHING

Cons: EVERYTHIN

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN GOING TO THIS STORE OR THEIR SISTER STORE "GLITZ PROM" AT CHESTERFIELD MALL.
MY DAUGHTER WAS TO WEAR A TONY BOWLS GOWN I BOUGHT FROM GLITZ TO A STATE PAGEANT THE GOWN WAS VERY EXPENSIVE AND THE OWNER HAD ARRANGED FOR THE GOWN TO BE ALTERED BY THEM! AFTER MULTIPLE TIMES "6-8" OF DRESS FITTINGS, 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE PAGEANT WE WENT IN TO HAVE OR FINAL FITTING, DRESS WAS PROMISED TO BE COMPLETED. BUT WAS NOT....WHEN WE ARRIVED THE DRESS HAD TO BE LENGHTENED AND WHEN THIS WAS DONE THE OWNER WHO DID THE SEWING ON THE GOWN ADDED THE MATERIAL IN THE WRONG SPOT AND MACHINE STICHED WHICH CAUSED PUCKERING ON THE GOWN. THEN WHEN TAKING PART OF THE EXTENED TRAIN OFF THE GOWN MANAGED TO ...AT THE SIDE SEAMS ....TAKE OFF APPROX. 10 INCHES OFF ONE SIDE OF THE GOWN. SO WHEN PUT ON MY DAUGHTER , IT DIDN'T EVEN TOUCH THE GROUND. THEN TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE THE OWNERS DAUGHTER UPON DELIVERY OF THE GOWN HAD SPILT SOMETHING OTHER THAN WATER ON THE GARMENT BAG WHICH CAUSED A HUGE STAIN ON THIS TAFITA TONY BOWLS GOWN. OF COURSE WITH 2 WEEKS TO THE STATE PAGEANT I HAD TO GO AND PURCHASE THE SAME
GOWN...LUCKY I FOUND ONE....AT ANOTHER STORE IN OVERLAND PARK , KANSAS. WHEN I ASKED FOR A REFUND OF THE GOWN SO I COULD PURCHASE ANOTHER GOWN I WAS TOLD...I WOULD NEVER SEE A DIME. SO FYI SMALL CLAIMS COURT IS WHEREI WILL BE GOING TO HAVE A JUDGE DECIDE IF SHOULD GET BACK MY REFUND OF $1720.13.
PLEASE BE AWARE THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU!

After reading the reviews I was skeptical but we went and they have the biggest selection of gowns in town and they let me try on as many as i wanted (at least 40) I was not rushed and they let me decide instead of pressuring me to purchase. They were truthful about how I looked in my gown. I planned my complete wedding in 3 1/2 months. They worked hard to get everything in time and all the gowns were altered before the wedding.

The review from the owners son below is really sad. It seems as if he is mad about their beliefs. But I can say that when I spoke with the owner during my visits she did share that she had three great kids that she loved very much. Its too bad that he feels the need to trash his family, it really has nothing to do with any bride's experience there.

I would recommend this shop, just realize that they have a lot of brides and they do need a computer system. But they helped me plan a quick wedding when no one else in town would even think about it.

I am the mother of a bride who was married in an absolutely beautiful ceremony in December. We began planning a year in advance, and virtually every vendor we worked with was extraordinary....with one glaring exception: I Do I Do Bridal! This was the one very dark spot in an otherwise wonderful experience.

I Do I Do carried the designer that my daughter and her bridesmaids had picked from their long distance review via the Internet. So...we made our way there a full ONE YEAR before the wedding date. While I Do I Do did carry the bridesmaid dress my daughter wanted, she did not find her dream dress there......THANK GOD!! We found her wedding gown at Maiden's Voyage in Manchester. Unfortunately, Maiden's Voyage did not carry the bridesmaid dress style that she wanted, so my daughter made the fateful decision to order her dress from Maiden's Voyage and the bridesmaids dresses from I Do I Do. Our experiences with both shops could not have been more different!

While Maiden's Voyage was the essence of professionalism, in terms of their store layout, customer service and communication, I Do I Do Bridal was the complete opposite. The bridesmaids dresses came in 2 months late, and only one of six dresses was the correct size. Three of the six had to be virtually "made over." (We did, by this time, have the sense to not allow I Do I Do to handle any of the alterations. Our girls found competent seamstresses to accomplish this....at added expense!)

Even worse, was the situation with the flower girl's dress! A pair of sisters were asked to be in the wedding, one of whom needed a junior bridesmaid's dress to match the bridesmaids and the other who needed a flower girl's dress. When these dresses finally arrived.....barely a month before the wedding.....the shop had ordered two junior bridesmaid's dresses and NO flower girl dress!!

We picked up the correct junior bridesmaid's dress on the day before Thanksgiving. Charlene assured us that she would try to contact the designer on Friday (the day after Thanksgiving), but she didn't think they would be working. On the Friday after Thanksgiving, I called the designer myself, and they were indeed working! I told them the situation, and they did not hold out much hope of getting the flower girl dress delivered in time for the wedding. They were not able to tell me anything specific since "I was not their customer....Charlene was," thus I was not entitled to know anything about the status of the order.

After my discussion with the designer, my husband, daughter and I went to I Do I Do. When we asked about the status of the flower girl dress, Charlene boldly lied to us saying that she had tried to contact the designer, but they weren't working. I replied that I knew differently as I had spoken to them myself shortly before coming in. Charlene grudgingly assured us that the flower girl dress would be here on time and agreed to sign a statement guaranteeing a full refund if the dress was not in within two weeks. She did (to her credit) agree to make any needed alterations free of charge. Somehow, she did manage to get the flower girl dress here a week before the wedding and she did make the alterations as promised, however by this point all respect and trust in her integrity as a business owner had long since been destroyed!

After reading some of the other horror stories posted about this shop, I realize how lucky we were to have had a positive outcome. I think my daughter's tenacity played a large part in this, but no bride should have to go through such unnecessary stress, particularly when there are other vendors who work so hard and bend over backwards to make the experience as pleasant as it is intended to be!

PLEASE, IF YOU ARE A BRIDE TO BE OR THE MOTHER OF A BRIDE TO BE, SAVE YOURSELF THE GRIEF OF WORKING WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT BY GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR WEDDING ATTIRE!!!!

I went to I Do I Do in October of '08 for my wedding in June of '09, found a dress and veil, and ordered them from Charlene. The items were due to be in sometime in February, however when I called the dress wasn't there. They had no idea where the dress was or when it was going to come in. After numerous unreturned phone calls and no one ever picking up the phone, the dress arrived in mid April. It was torn and stained. The staff's response was to order a new one. There would be no new dress. My wedding was less than a month away! The dress I ordered wouldn't be able to ship until July. Charlene and her staff didn't seem to care they were ruining my wedding experience. They don't care about customers or their products. Their shop is filthy. The samples dresses are stained and dirty, and the "dressing rooms" are unswept and filled with disgusting robes and undergarments. While initially seeming friendly and helpful, the reality is they lack any sense of customer service. They accept poor preformance as a standard, and rely on you, the customers, to accept this unfailing ineptiness as an acceptable business practice. There is no need to experience the anxiety and frustration that I have experienced if you just shop at the Wedding Gallery in St. Chales.

Thank you for all the negative reviews i saw on this website. I was in I Do for a consultation and was stressed because there was a girl screaming at the owner about her dresses being the wrong color and not in on time. The owner assured me that it was the brides mistake. My mom and I were very skeptical to order from there-since our consult was over two months ago and no one has called us back! Since reading this reviews I am going somewhere else! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I bought my wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses from I Do I Do and I had the best experience!! These ladies are sooo nice and helpful. Everything came in with perfect timing and was altered beautifully. My sister also used I Do I Do for her wedding and we were treated exactly the same way. I LOVE them and LOVE the store. I would reccommend it to everyone who's getting married.

I had an appointment and when I got there I was completely ignored. Thank goodness i had friends there to help me. When I was ready to leave the owners husband asked me which dress I was getting and when my wedding was. I only had 8 months before the wedding and he yelled at me and told me there was no way I could get a dress on time and made me feel like I had to order that day. Was it necessary to give the bride stress? I told him I found a dress at another place, but i was still thinking about it and he was really mean about it. I just felt like everyone was giving me attitude the whole time and talking down to me. I was so frustrated. I went to other stores and had so much fun, but after this place I went home miserable.

Honestly... I DO NOT UNDERSTAND why the owners are not acting upon these multiple problems that these poor customers had to go through. WHY ARE THEY STILL IN BUSINESS?? Don't they read these reviews!? I CAN NOT believe they own "glitz" that is such a disgusting store! I do not think it is actually open anymore though :) I am SO sorry to hear SUCH horrible stories from all of you ladies. I also experienced such horrible times there as well. When waiting to be helped on finding a dress I witnessed poor customer service not only to myself but the other customers as well. No one is nice in there and I really don't understand why! They had no sense in taste or style and I felt that everything was dirty and nothing was special to wear on my day. Bridal stores are supposed to be happy places! I got out of there fast and found an AMAZING bridal store with AWESOME customer service and such high end fashionable dresses that my special day was spectacular! :)

We purchased our dresses in November of 07. The dresses came in this October 08. Since they took 11 months to get in there was no time to exchange them for the correct sizes. They did not do any measurements on me. I had to go back after paying them my money to have them do measurements for ordering the dress. My dress was 2 sizes too small, They also told us this dress in discontinued, it is not. I contacted Bill Levkoff co. today. It is still and orderable dress. They assured me that they would correct my dress and I would look great! WRONG! They kept trying to fix it, add material, and who knows what else. I do not believe they did anything to fix this situation. The wedding was this past Saturday the 22nd. On FRIDAY night the owner Charlene was going to deliver my dress to the church while we were there for our rehearsal. I tried the dress on and it was SO BAD! She kept trying to say what she would do to fix it, but at this point we are less than 24 hours away from the wedding. After she put it on me she began to insult me about my weight. She said, well honey you have gained so much weight what did you expect? I expect you to order my dress in the right size to begin with. Then she told me, ?let?s face it, you are not a 10, you are a 16 AT LEAST!? After much talk we told her this dress would not work. She said she could just leave b/c she doesn?t have to deal with this. I asked for a refund and she said fine, call me next week. Saturday morning we had to go to ANOTHER bridal store. They were wonderful and totally sympathetic to the situation. They happened to have the same dress in my size. The only problem, a different color. They agreed to sell me the dress which they normally won?t do. I was very thankful, but it did have the word SAMPLE embroidered at the bottom of the dress.
The other girls of the wedding party had maroon dresses and my dress was a burnt orange. Not the best match.

Wow! Where do I begin? I could write a book but I don't have the time! I got married 10/4/08. I ordered my wedding dress in NOV. of 2007 and bridesmaid dresses in Feb 2008 ( nine months before my wedding)! Well my dress came in two months late after calling them constantly and getting the run around about customs and every other excuse! It was to be altered and to be READY two days before my wedding. When we picked it up it wasn't even pressed as they promised it would be! So the day of my wedding MY MOTHER had to steam it, as she was steaming it she came across TAPE when she removed it there was a BIG BLACK MARK on my gown! To late to do anything as I was just about to get married we tried to get it out but had to just leave it! Thanks I Do I Do!

That was just the least of my problems though like icing on the cake! My biggest issue was my bridesmaid dresses which came in WRONG NOT ONCE BUT TWICE!!!!!! The first set came in, in MAY 2008 and were a completely different dress! They told me that it was ok they could make these dresses look like the dresses I ordered! I said NO I wanted what I ordered and had paid in full for! So they said ok they would order the correct dresses and they would be in July 19, 2008. Surprise Surprise no dresses! Finely 5 weeks before my wedding I called yet AGAIN and they said they were in, So I went to see them, WRONG AGAIN It was clear what they had done, a HORRIABLE JOB ALTERING, the first set of wrong dresses and tried to pass them as the ones I ordered! After fighting with CHARLENE (the lying PASTORS WIFE!) she was to order the dresses AGAIN and have them overnighted! They came in 4 DAYS before my wedding which gave them 2 days to get them altered so that we could pick them up THUR because we live 45 min. away we didn't have time to come back Friaday! The hemlines were ALL uneven, one girls lining hung out the bottom, so we had to cut it out, and none of the busts were taken in as they were suppose to be!

Not only is their service disgusting at best, the way they treat your dress is also disgusting. After they called me to tell me my dress was in, they lost it. I was excited that it was finally in and went to pick it up but no one could find it! They searched for 45 minutes. When they finally found it, it was a wrinkled mess and not even in a protective bag. I later found out a fomer employee of I Do, I Do, reported that they simply throw all the dresses in a pile on the floor in their back room when they come in. Sometimes the dresses are even walked on while they lay on the floor. What a way to treat the dresses that we pay good money for! They were supposed to order a custom hollow to hem on my dress so it would be just the right length...they didn't...it was way too long, way too big, and the zipper broke! They did not order my veil. It took me 8 months, over 7 phone calls and 2 trips in person just to get them to order it!! The worst part of my experience with this horrible place is the way the owner and her daughters treated me. One of them actually made fun of the size of my bridesmaids when a couple of them had to order a "W" size. They are so disrespectful and just plain old-fashion mean! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT I DO I DO BRIDAL.

I was very pleased with I Do I Do up until two days before my ceremony! I knew all was too good to be true when my dress, veil, and headpiece all came in on time without a hitch. I made the mistake of ordering my tuxedos from them as well. Thank God my girls did not get their dresses there. The tuxs were to arrive sometime Weds, but not sure when. That was fine until of course Weds came and went, and no tuxedos. Thurs. came and we were assured they would be in that morning at 10am. Needless to say they did not come in until late Thursday afternoon which we had to call ourselves to find out. Well, this left Friday for all of my guys to try theirs on since my rehearsal was Thurs. After they began to try theirs on, NO ONES, except two fit. I had 16 people getting tuxedos. How they were so off on all of their measurements is beyond me. They also came without vests, and the wrong color ties! The vests and the ties in the correct color were not received until 11am the morning of my ceremony. To make things worse, I realized the morning of my ceremony that my veil was never shortened the way it should be. When I picked it up I even questioned it and the young girl whipped out her measuring tape and assured me it was right. Well, it wasn't, and I was late to my own ceremony because I had to get to the bridal shop and have it fixed! Please, take all these reviews into serious consideration before you purchase anything from there!

I Do I Do Bridal and Glitz are both very unprofessional. I went to look for a dress at both stores and the appearance of both stores were really nasy. Come on, do they clear their stores. Nevertheless, they are the most rudest people to work in an customer service environmet. When I can in there looking for a dress no one wanted to help me, and when I asked for help they looked at me like I was crazy. They have people working for them who don't know many thing about their dresses or other merchindise that is within both stores, what the hell. I know that next time that I need a dress for anything I will not go to either store.

There is a reason there are so many reviews about this store. DO NOT PATRONIZE- Weddings, proms, and pageants are supposed to be fun, exciting, and memorable. The only thing I will remember about my experience with this store is horrible. I was not a bridezilla by any means- but this store had me in tears several times- AND I don't cry, ever!

Luckily, I did not purchase my wedding gown from this store- I only purchased my bridesmaids gowns. It would take way too many words to describe the expereience I had- all I can say is that every dress we purchased was wrong- wrong size, wrong color, or altered wrong. The staff was very rude- I would say the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Please find a store that will treat your big event as if it were their own...

Pros: Location? The only pro...

Cons: Customer service, organization, alterations

.

Terrible customer service. It seems as promise after promise is made to customers but the promises are never kept. When you are spending so much money and time on such an important event you should at least be given what you paid for. The Staff is rude and seems to have no concern for the customers and their special day. I was shocked to see that this company is still in business with all of the reviews about their service. It is unfortunate that people have to experience this nightmare before a special event.

My understanding is that the store called "Glitz" is owned by the same people that own I Do I Do. I think that their inventory are all old dresses that they are trying to get rid of. I looked at the dresses and the "glitz" looked old and used. They say they will have new dresses for Prom but it makes me wonder if they are having financial issues? Why would they change their name? I think their poor business practices will now be at Glitz.....I will be thinking twice about buying a prom dress there.

Pros: Chesterfield Mall easy to get to

Cons: Looks like old merchandise...........prom dresses left over for Homecoming?

My daughter orderd a bridesmaid dress on May 31, 2008 for her sister's wedding in September. She was measured by a teenager for the dress (should have been a clue) and told to call back the next business day to see if there needed to be a rush ordered put on the dress to get here in time. I called for her (since I was the one paying) and was told they would check on the order and give me a call back. No call for a week! So I called back to check on the dress and was told that they had called the manufacturer and it would be here in plenty of time for the wedding; no need to put a rush on the order. I started calling again at the end of July to check on the status of the dress. Several messages were taken for Charlene who was supposedly the one working on my daughter's order. No phone call back ever!!!! I had to call again and again until I finally got an answer. The dress would be in by the third week in August. I voiced my concern at it arriving so close to the wedding date and if there would be time for any alterations. I was once again assured that everything would be fine. The third week of August came and still no phone call, so I called once again and left a message. Again, no phone call back!! I had to keep calling and calling until I happened to catch Charlene at the store. She would call and check on the dress. Still no phone call back!! I called again the next day and finally got an answer from some girl answering the phone and checking with Charlene who never came to the phone. The dress was in customs and should clear Friday, the week before the wedding and someone would call me when it arrived. You guessed it, no phone call! I called again twice on Tuesday and was told Charlene would call me back. Wednesday has now arrived and no phone call telling me where the dress is! This is suppose to be Charlene's business! What terrible customer service!! I will tell everyone I know never to shop at I Do I Do Bridal!!!!!!!

Alright so I went on a search for my bridesmaids dresses (THANK GOD I HAD FOUND MY DRESS AT ANOTHER STORE), I finally found a dress that they all liked and the price was relatively reasonable. So we the girls got measured we got the dresses ordered and the girls had to pay half down. We did this at the beginning of April 2008 my wedding is in September of 2008. The employees at this store said that the dresses SHOULD BE IN within 3-4 months. So at the end of JULY I call wanting to know where my dresses are..........They aren't even scheduled to ship until August 8th. Okay thats not a huge problem a little later than I hoped for but by the time I get the dresses we should have about one month time before the wedding. So I call on august 13th when my dresses where supposed to be in. THEY WERENT!!!!! THEY DIDNT COME IN THE NEXT WEEK EITHER AND COME TO FIND OUT THE DRESSES NEVER HAD SHIPPED THEY DIDN'T SHIP UNTIL AUGUST 22ND TWO WEEKS AFTER I WAS TOLD THEY SHIPPED. WHAT BS. So these dresses finally come in on AUGUST 28TH. I get all the girls together and go to the store and what is the result. TWO OF THE DRESSES BARELY FREAKING ZIP AND TWO OF THE DRESSES DO NOT EVEN COME CLOSE TO ZIPPING. One shows 4 inches of the girls back and the other shows 2 inches of the girls back. the biggest thing that blew me away was the girls who has 4 inches of back showing they measured her at a size 6 around her chest a size 10 around her waist and a size 6 at her hips and they ordered her a size 8 why on earth would you not order her at least a size 10 so the dress would freaking zip. but according to them it is easier to let it out then take it in well in my opinion I WOULD LIKE THE DRESS TO ZIP. And unfortunately i ordered my flower girl dresses through them as well well long story short after being given the run around for the past month i still have no flower girl dresses and i have three weeks left. i hope whoever reads this isnt reading it too late.

Pros: NOT A DAMN THING ABOUT THEM IS PRO

Cons: EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM, CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS, THEY LIE AND ARE NOT HELPFUL IN ANY WAY

.

I did not order my bridal gown from this shop (thank god!!) but all of my bridesmaids are from all over the midwest. I let them order their dresses from whatever shop was closest. I went with one of my bridesmaids to try on dress. She was the first one to order!!! We picked a dress out and they measured her and ordered it. This was in April, 2008. Never was a size discussed! They ordered her a 12, she is defientely an 8!!! And when I called in July to see if the dress was in, they said it wouldn't be in until the first of August. Meanwhile, I had 4 other bridesmaids who ordered after her and already received their dresses!! So we wait until the 2nd week in August and call again. They said that it should have shipped.

I have been calling at least 3 times a week and get a different story every time. The new story is that the dress was discontinued LAST August and that Mori Lee was doing them a favor and making it for them. WHAT!! We ordered it in April, why weren't we told that then!!!

So now with 3 weeks left, she still has no dress. They say now that it is in customs and should be at the store last Friday. My bridesmaid is just starting medical school in a different city and does not have the time to visit every weekend to get the dress ready. So with 3 weeks left, no dress and it will be in the wrong size!!!

DO NOT USE THIS STORE!!!! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!

In my search for the "perfect dress" I found I DO I DO bridal. They had a great selection and were very complimentary when I first arrived. They gave quality service BEFORE I purchased anything. Once I gave them a dime, everything changed. My dress was supposed to take 5 months, it took 7. My veil looks like a 4th grader cut it out (also came in several weeks late, after I called several times). My shoes have yet to come in (my wedding is in 17 days) and I ordered them over 2 1/2 months ago. I've call over and over and tell the same story. It seems like they don't even take notes on all my calls. They even told me that I couldn't get them anywhere if they were backordered for them. Newsflash I Do I Do: Just ordered them online and they should be here tomorrow.

I could go on and on, but please, choose another store. I promise you, they WILL be nice upon your arrival, but once they order something for you, be prepared to be screwed over. The last thing a bride needs to worry about 17 days before her wedding is "inconveniencing" I Do I Do by calling and asking if her shoes have come in yet. Very disappointed.

Oh, and did I mention -- they expanded in May, and now three months later, are back in their smaller space again.

After reading the scathing reviews I thought maybe it's just one disgruntled bride. Then, I went on the Missouri Attorney General's website and discovered many, many complaints with unsatisfactory results. I will not patronize I do I do. See for yourself, check out the complaints on the Missouri Attorney General's website.

MY EXPERIENCES AT I DO I DO HAVE BEEN NOTHING BUT WONDERFUL.! I GOT MARRIED LAST FALL. FOR MY OWN WEDDING I USED I DO I DO FOR MY DRESS, THE BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES (AND SHOES), THE TUXEDOS, THE INVITATIONS, MY MOTHERS' DRESSES, THE FLOWER GIRL'S DRESS, AND ALL OF MY ACCESSORIES. NOW I PLANNED EVERTHING LATE AND AT 4 MONTHS OUT FROM MY WEDDING I STILL HADN'T ORDERED MY DRESS. AFTER GOING INTO SEVERAL BIG NAME STORES IN ST LOUIS AND BEING TREATED LIKE SOME KIND OF IDIOT BECAUSE "I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO GET A DRESS" I WENT INTO I DO I DO. WHEN I FIRST CAME INTO THE STORE EVERYONE WAS SO NICE. THEN THEY ASKED ME WHEN MY WEDDING WAS, I TOLD THEM AND INSTEAD OF GIVING ME THE SAME LINE AS EVERY OTHER STORE IN THE TOWN, THEY SAID IT WAS NO PROBLEM. FINALLY, I BEGAN TO RELAX. ONCE I FOUND MY DRESS AND GOT THAT ORDERED, IT WAS TIME TO TAKE CARE OF MY GIRLS AND GUYS. WHEN EVERYTHING STARTED COMING IN FOR THE WEDDING I WAS SO EXCITED! I WAS SO THRILLED WHEN I GOT THAT PHONE CALL TELLING ME IT HAD COME IN! I CAME IN AND TRIED THE DRESS ON AND IT FIT ALMOST PERFECTLY IT JUST NEEDED A BUSTLE AND A LITTLE NIP AT THE TOP. SO PRETTY MUCH AS YOU CAN SEE I HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH MY EXPERIENCE.

NOW MY BEST FRIEND IS GETTING MARRIED AND SHE EXPERIENCED THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE AT I DO I DO DURING MY WEDDING SO NATURALLY THATS WHERE SHE HAS CHOSEN TO GO. SHE HAS ORDERED EVERYTHING FROM THE LADIES AT I DO I DO AND HAS HAD NO PROBLEMS, BUT SHE DID READ SOME OF YOUR REVIEWS. NOW NO ONE IS PERFECT AND THATS INCLUDING ME. BUT I HAVE GOTTEN TO KNOW THESE WOMEN OVER THE LAST YEAR OR SO; AND THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY PRECIOUS PRECIUS PEOPLE. IN THE TWO WEDDINGS THAT I HAVE BEEN AFFILIATED WITH I HAVE EXPERIENCED NONE OF WHAT YOU ALL SPEAK OF. THOSE LADIES HAVE ALWAYS HAD GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND THEY HAVE NEVER LIED. CHECK YOUR REVIEWS FOR ACCURACY PEOPLE! I THINK THERE MUST BE SOME EMBELLISHMENTS HERE!

All of the reviews are true. This place is a NIGHTMARE. My bridal party spent nearly $3000 in dresses. Needless to say they ALL have to be altered because these morons have no idea what they are doing. All of the dresses are too big. When I went back in to complain, I was ganged up on by the mother and daughters. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE!!!!!

Can we spell NIGHTMARE? As a mother of 3 girls (+ a son) reading these reviews breaks my heart. NO Bride, nor their wedding party should be treated the way this business establishment does. If you are considering going here because of the "price tag" trust me you will pay in other ways. If you don't have highblood pressure before you go here you will afterwards. Unfortunately, this experience has taught myself and my daughters a very expensive, painful lesson. I can HONESTLY say and, it is unfortunate that all these 1 star reviews my daughter and her bridal party have experienced. Seriously, do your homework and read these reviews, repeatedly you will see bad Customer Service, Liars, they WILL NOT call you when your dress comes in and they refuse to admit they make mistakes. It's sad but, this is all true. This family has NO business running a business. Especially something as important and special as a wedding. I can guarantee you I am a REAL mom of a beautiful REAL bride who has had her very special day destroyed. My daughter waited from November to April to get her Bridal gown and guess what when it came in it was the wrong dress. Anytime I have ordered something you have an order number and a description if the 2 don't match there is problem. Correct? If you make a mistake put your big girl pants on and admit it and at least try to fix it.
"Magically" the dress my daughter ordered showed up but, it is 4 sizes to big! Why did they measure her? We were lied to about the bridesmaids dresses. The order we thought we placed in early March was not really placed until May. Charlene placed the order in May knowingly, and she did not put a RUSH on the order. Call around and find out the Std Shipping and how you should be measured. Come to find out if they measure your height certain dress makers will make the gown according to your height.(save $). This mom says BEWARE!

As I see the owner has written a review indicating that you should go to her website to read reviews from REAL brides and families I felt the need to write a review. As the mother of a REAL bride that unfortunately made the mistake of going to I Do I Do I recommend that you do not make the same costly mistake. My daughter found her dream dress, but that is where the dream ended and the nightmare began. Since this is my second daughter to get married I understand how a bridal store should treat their prospective brides. This business does not come close to understanding or working towards that concept. My daughter stepped to the front of the store and put half down on her dream dress, and then right in the middle of the busy store was told to put out her arms and was measured right there in less than 30 seconds. . .not a good sign. We felt extremely uneasy but was reassured that they knew what they were doing. We were told the sample was a size 6, no tag in the dress, and asked that they order that size. When my daughter called 5 days later we were told they ordered a size 10 due to her hip size, even thought she wears a size 4 in street clothes. Long story short they refused to cancel our order, give my daughter her money back, or order her a size 6 even though our receipt said to order the sample size. My daughter decided to learn an expensive lesson rather than face the prospect of working with this store in the hopes that everything "might" turn out alright. We went to another bridal store where after measuring my daughter they ordered her a size 6, telling us they will still need to take her dress in at the waist and HIPS. Unfortunately most of what they say is untrue. I talked with the daughter of owner and owner, for 15-20 minutes and they were not upfront with me. Your big day should be a huge deal, and you should be treated as such. I recommend that you go somewhere else if you want to walk away after ordering your dress feeling that way.

Pros: prices

Cons: CUSTOMER SERVICE, space,

.

The only reason this place gets one star is because it won't take zero. I did not have a great feeling about the customer service the first time I went in, but my aunt goes to church with the owners and her friend does their alterations, so I went against my instincts. BIG MISTAKE! My dress came in six weeks late, but luckily there was enough time to get alterations. My dress purchase came with free merchandise, so I ordered a veil that matched my dress perfectly. I was told it would be in in 2-3 weeks (my wedding was in 6 weeks). When I started calling after 3 weeks, I got the run around. They kept telling me not to worry, it would be there. HAH! I called daily for two weeks before my wedding. The Thursday before my wedding, I said I'd just take the floor sample, and the girl adamantly refused and said my veil WILL be there Friday. On Friday, I called and they said it was in, BUT the one I had ordered was discontinued so the manufacturer sent a replacement that was slightly different. Since the veil didn't come in until the afternoon before the wedding, the owner brought it to me. Imagine my horror when I took a close look at the veil and saw that it was no where close to what I had ordered. Mine had thick embroidery that matched my dress. This piece of junk had just a thin line of thread and pearls already falling off! The owner took it back and said that she would work something out. They ended up bringing me three cheap veils to choose from--at 10:30 on my wedding day. I took the least revolting because I had no choice. I was told that they would refund the amount of my original veil. When I called after my wedding, the owner's daughter was rude and said that they'd done their best. She then said that since my veil was part of a promotion, they would not refund any money. Apparently they do this to brides all the time. It is hard to believe that people who are so involved in church can be so Unchristian.

Pros: none

Cons: owners are liars and will not get your bridal merchandise to you in time for your wedding

i was pleased with the selection of dresses and i have no complaints about the service. i understand that there are a lot of negative reviews but honestly people often forget to take the time to write a good review about anything - pizza place or bridal shop. its at least worth the trip to see for yourself if its the kind of place for you - it was for me.

Pros: We Want to Make your Experience Great

I always knew that the ugly pen writes faster and more frequently than the complimentary one. However, with the price of weddings these days, we all owe it to ourselves to read what's being said. Fortunately for our family, we didn't read the trash talk until after our great experience at I Do. My husband and I both wanted our little girl to have a dream wedding from day one. All of our dreams came true and it started when we strolled into I Do Bridal. We had made a couple of visits to other stores, but we knew we had found the right place when we met the owner and her girls. They were very professional and "courtesy" is definitely a part of what we found. I was concerned when some of my daughter's bridesmaids started complaining about the sizes being recommended for them, but when the dresses came in (on time) we found out that these ladies and their experience paid off. If you go here, you will find professionals, just save yourself some stress and let them do their job. Since they let us bring our camera and take photos, we have a scrapbook that covers the entire shopping and wedding experience (150 pages). If the marriage is half as good as the shopping experience, it will be a wonderful thing. Forget the trash talk, this place is the best in StL.

Interesting that there is only 1 good review for this store . It is obvious that she is somehow connected to the store and they needed a good review. No one in their right mind would write a good review for this store. My experience with I Do, I Do Bridal (where I got my wedding gown) has been a million times worse than my experience with David's Bridal (where I got my Bridesmaid dresses). While David's Bridal (in Sunset Hills) dyed all 4 of my Bridesmaid's shoes different colors - that was the least of my problems. I ordered my wedding gown from I Do, I Do on November 1st 2007. My dress did not come in until the end of May 2008 (even though they told me that it would be in by April at the latest). They forgot to order my headpiece which is still not in (and my wedding is in 4 weeks). The entire store is unorganized - papers and orders everywhere. Everytime I was in there, someone (ususally multiple people) were complaining. The "manager" pinned me at my "fitting" instead of the seamstress telling me that the seamstress would pick up my dress that night and call me the next day. I never heard from the seamstress, so I called 1 week later and she had never heard of me, did not have my dress, and told me that no one should have pinned my dress except for her. Having to call more than 10 times only got us rude customer service. They apologized, and followed it with "it is up to you to accept it because we will not do anything to make you happy." I am the wedding coord at a downtown hotel & I have & will continue to tell all of my clients about my bad experience. I will NEVER recommend I Do, I Do Bridal. I picked up my dress and am taking it to another seamstress for alterations. I just wish that this store could have been honest with me from the beginning and, is it too much to ask for friendly service? I reported them to all of the local new stations.

Pros: Nothing!

Cons: Customer service, dirty facility...basically EVERYTHING!

I sure wish I'd read these reviews before I decided to purchase my wedding dress and accessories at I Do I Do. Like others, everything I ordered came in late. I ordered my veil 10 months ago and today they gave me the wrong one (with 5 weeks until the wedding). I have called many many times and am always told "It will be in next week... we'll call you" (but they won't). I can't wait to get the right veil in, if I ever get it, so I can be done doing business with them! No bride needs the extra headaches and hassles that I Do I Do provides!

My daughter was asked to be in a wedding this June. The bride got her dresses from Ido Ido. When we went for the initial fitting to buy the dress, the place was chaos, but I had no complaints about the service. It was a weekend and that was understandable. It wasn't unitl after we ordered the dress that things went bad. They never called to tell me the dress came in. I had to call them. Then, when we went to pick it up, it was too small around the chest and about 12 inches too long in the skirt. I thought - "No big deal", they'll alter it. Oh NO! They don't alter bridemaid or flower girl dresses unless you make "special arrangements." When I initally called to check on the status of the dress, I asked about alterations and they said they could alter if needed. Now, 10 days before the wedding, we are left to find someone to do the alterations at an expense of another $100. When we came to pick up the dress, there were numerous cutsomers in there and they were ALL complaining about something. There was a shouting match between one group and an employee. I would beware before I trust such a big day to this place. I hope they make some badly needed changes or they will be out of business in no time. They need to hire more seamstresses, an organizer, and build a "meeting" room to take cutomers that are openly unhappy. I hate to leave a bad review, but I think they really need to pay attention to these, especially since the complaints are so frequent and all revolve around the same thing.

okay after reading many horrible reviews i was a little skeptical of going to i do i do however im glad i disregarded the reviews because after searching many stores in the area i found a home at i do i do bridal filled with wonderful customer service. this family business extended their open arms and even considered their part time girls to be part of the family. they are a team - i found no other place that was this welcoming. i do i do's employees, some of which are high school and college-aged, are more proficient and knowledgeable than many of the "experts" of the industry that i was recommended to. i happily purchased my wedding gown, bridesmaids dresses, tiara, veil, and invitations - they all came in on time - my invitations actually came early! the whole process ran smoothly and they even helped me get through a few pre-wedding meltdowns. these people are wonderful people and everyone who reads these reviews needs to take them with a grain of salt - just because a few have a bad experience and have not found this store to be the one for them doesnt mean that this isnt the store for you. give it a try - hopefully youre as happy as me!

oh and isabel - there is no one better!!!

I ordered my wedding gown in July of 2007 for my June 2008 wedding. They told me it would come in November. When I called in November, they said December. When I called in December, they said January. Finally, they said the ship date would be April 15th. When I asked what was taking so long, they said Maggie Sottero makes the dress based on when your wedding is, not when you order it. So I'm being penalized for planning ahead? Um, no. I cancelled my order, lost my deposit, and bought a clearance dress off the hanger at Clarice's where I received GREAT service.

On April 5th, I purchased a prom dress from I DO DO bridal. The dress had some beads messing and few stains on the front. They told me they would fix the beading and have the dress clean and it would be ready by April 19th. On April 19th, I received a call at 7:58 a.m. stating my dress was not ready. I called back at 10:00 and told Charlene, the owner, that I needed my dress back right away because I was leaving town next week and I had planned on go to my seamstress today. She told me her husband would deliver the dress to me, on my job, on Monday, April 21st. He husband dropped off the dress and I told him once I got out of the direct sunlight and was able to view the dress in my office, I would call if I had any problems. Once I got upstairs the dress had additional stains on the back and the stains on the front had never been cleaned, also the beads were still missing. At the time I called Charlene's husband back and he said, call Charlene and gave me her number 636262-5503. I spoke with her on the phone and she said "I did the beading myself and checked for stains, but bring it back and she'll add the missing beads, and have it re-cleaned. I told her I was leaving town and for me to wait until the week of the 28th to get the dress back, was cutting it to close for the alterations. She said because of the inconvenience, she would alter the dress for free. I took the dress back on April 22 and told them I needed it by April 30th, with new beads, no stains and pressed. We called on April 30th to see if it was ready and they couldn't find the dress, I called back and they said it was ready. I went to pick up the dress on May 1st and beading was still missing and instead of cutting the straps and re-sewing, they folded the straps and sewed them to the dress, so the dress started to pull. Tara and Ashley, Charlene's daughters are rude, unprofessional and have no sense of service recovery. DO NOT EVER SHOP AT I DO I DO. Selling knock-offs from China.

Like many other brides my first visit to I Do I Do Bridal in Chesterfield was a good one. I had gone to other places & didn't get the service I got there so I bought my gown, veil, & tiara from them. Big mistake. I was told my order would be in by Christmas (I ordered it in August) & they'd call when it was in. By January I hadn't heard anything, so I called them & was told my dress would still be a couple more weeks. Apparently they were too busy to let me know. When I called 3 weeks later, I was told they would have to look for it & call me back. I waited an hour or so before calling them back & was finally told my dress was in, with my veil & tiara-I could come pick it up anytime. When I went to pick them up (days before I was moving to KC) the veil wasn't there-they had "sold out" of that style, even though it had been specially ordered. I had no problems with the dress & tiara. They said they would call when the veil was in, just a couple more weeks. Three weeks went by with no word so I called them & was told my veil was backordered because of Chinese New Year. Again, they said I'd get a call when it came in. I called again 2 weeks later & was told it was in, but they'd have to call me back. They never did. I called the next day & spoke to a manager who told me it wasn't in yet, so I asked why I was told it was there when it wasn't. She said she'd check on it & call me back the next day. Two days later I called to cancel my order & magically they found my veil. I told them I wasn't living in St. Louis so they'd have to ship it to me & given all the trouble, I wouldn't pay for shipping. No problem-they said I'd get the veil by 4/18. On 4/22 (veil-less) I called again & was given a tracking number & was told it had been shipped-I'll get it by 4/23. It's now 4/25 & still no veil, the tracking number only shows that billing info had been received, & we've left several messages & filed complaints with the B B B, Atty. General, Angie's List & now Citysearch.
