Well, the Paddy O's in Lee's Summit isn't bad. But, the Paddy O's downtown is just horrible. First of all, the entire bar itself is out of place and doesn't really fit in as far as location goes. Secondly, it's a far cry from an "Irish" bar. Throw some green paint on the wall, an irish flag in the air and some 'corona' condiment holders on the table and you have "Instant Irish" Bar. Even the entrance to the place is inconvenient you have to walk around to the alley and then up a long ramp to the door. The flow of the entire building is off. There's a huge wall that seperates everything the moment you walk in which completely kills the atmosphere. So, they can't see you if your waiting to be seated. The service is okay and by okay I mean I'll give them at least 1 star for just being there. Food and Dining experience was very disappointing. My wife ordered a water and I ordered a Dr.pepper which both came in dirty plastic cups. My wife sent hers back...I just requested a water...which also came out with some mysterious floaties in the bottom of the cup. Needless to say - I'm very thirsty at the moment. Then I ordered the Tuesday Special..."Chicken Fried Steak"....the helpings were quite large, it looked really good, but there was a hair laying on my meal, so my experience overall was very disappointing. I'll probably never return...to that location at least. The other restaraunts and bars around the crossroads area have a lot more to offer including atmosphere, charm, unique, character and way better food. (And by the way, I love all food...and I'm really not one to complain...this is actually the first review I have ever written. I was just that disappointed)
