Wild Oats Natural Marketplace

I enjoy supporting the "little guy" and I usually don't take the time to give feedback, but I was in there today and when the person at the checkout asked if I found everything, I stated, "I couldn't find the protein I was looking for." The owner happened to be behind me, and stated, "it's a small place, and we can't stock everything," in a very rude voice. Maybe, "well have you tried "X" brand?" or "maybe we can order that in for you" would have been nice. I can see why the big guys are winning here.

This is the only Wild Oats left in the KC area now that the one on Johnson Drive has been closed for about a year. It's a very small market on the corner of Main and 43rd, but it's nice to have a place to go get some health food that's close to home and easy to get in and out of. The prices are higher than a normal grocery store, but that's to be expected at a health food market.
