I had a great experience purchasing my slightly used Scion xA. Steve Cole was a very polite and informative salesperson who stepped my through the process in way that put my mind at ease. I didn't feel any high pressure sales tactics, the negotiation was simple and easy as the car was priced right from the start. I never felt like I was at a typical used car lot. Lou Fusz Toyota (at Lindbergh & Manchester) was a clean, comfortable and no-hassle environment; unlike many other car dealerships I've browsed through. Thank you very much, Brad!!!
I bought a Toyota Camry from Lou Fusz Toyota on Lindberg and I had the best experience ever. I went to other Toyota dealers on South Kingshighway and the dealer wasn't friendly so I came to Lou Fusz and met James Conaway. He was so helpful and friendly. He wasn't pushy and got me the car that I wanted.. Thanks for being the best car salesman ever and I would recommend James Conaway to all my friends. Again ask for James Conaway because he is the best at what he does...
I went to Lou Fusz Toyota for some routine maintenance just yesterday. There was a gentleman by the name of Larry Zeid that took care of me. He did a superb job! He was very helpful, and made my experience quite a delight. My car's oil was changed, its tires were rotated, and it was vacuumed and washed all in matter of one hour!
Usually when I go into service departments (Jay Wolfe Toyota for instance), there are advisors assisting me that are just trying to sell me on things I don't need. Places like that make me feel like I am just an addition to its monthly revenues and nothing else. Not to mention, I received the same service at Jay Wolfe in the past that I did at Lou Fusz yesterday and it took two hours as opposed to one hour. Another thing to add, Jay Wolfe's services provided neither the vacuum service, nor the car wash service.
As for Lou Fusz's sevice, Larry did a great job in assisting me in a way that did not compromise my budget, and his talented technicians provided me with a detailed update of what my car needed in the near future. This not only enhanced my sense of security while driving on the road, but Larry's assurance and the way he treated me made me feel as though I had a friend in the business.
Later I came to find that Larry is the Service Manager of the Department. How often do you get that treatment?
Lou Fusz Toyota won me over by differentiating itself with its great customer care and great service. Needless to say, I will be servicing all of my cars at Lou Fusz Toyota from now on.
Thank you for going the extra mile and keep up the good work!
I recently purchased a 2012 Toyota Prius from Lou Fusz. The salesman was Albert Koesterer. Albert treated my wife and I professionally, respectfully and was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. Albert took the time to explain the features from inside and out. We test drove the vehicle and Albert also assisted in testing out some of the features with the new Toyota entune system.
Albert never made us feel pressured into purchasing a vehicle. When we submitted the information for our trade-in and offer on the vehicle, Albert worked for us to get the best deal we could.
I would highly recommend using Lou Fusz to anyone and especially Albert Koesterer.
Also the finance department was outstanding. The took the time to explain all the various maintenance packges, and again I never felt pressure to purchase any. Also they worked for me to get me the best rate possible!
It blows me away that enterprises are oblivious to the damage that horrific service does to their business.
Case in point: I had an experience at Lou Fusz Toyota which, in the end, resulted in me simply asking them to forget that I bought my last car there, take me out of their system and never to contact me again. It started with an issue that was unresolvable (I shall spare you the gory details). The penultimate was the Service Rep and the Customer Service Director saying that they would provide me with the replacement components at their cost. Since neither party had a conclusive case, I appreciated this "gesture". I felt that while it wasn't a "win-win", neither was it a "lose-lose". However, something still didn't seem right... I called two other local Toyota dealerships where, without any background information whatsoever, I was quoted a lower price than Lou's "at cost" price. This was the ultimate insult to injury already inflicted.
Now, I'm not saying that the folks at Lou Fusz outright lied to me. Perhaps their Buyer isn't on the ball and can't get a good deal from his Suppliers. However, if this was a lie, it would be the most despicable, unprofessional and quite stupid act that I've seen inflicted upon a customer in a long time.
In either case, since I can't condone either lying or bad purchasing practices, I shall never step foot into another Lou Fusz operation again. Caveat emptor, friends.
UPDATE : My Third-Party repair shop ordered the necessary component from Lou Fuysz Toyota (they are the only place in town that has this item in stock). For some reason, Lou Fusz Toyota is "having trouble" shipping the component to the repair shop repair shop. They had promised the item 3 days ago. It still hasn't been shipped. Coincidence? Hmm....
This is the first time I felt that I needed to write a review. With that being said this is the experience that I had at Lou Fusz Toyota. I recently bought a preowned vehicle from Lou Fusz Toyota. I have bought a few cars in my day, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. My salesman was not knowledgeable. Rather than finding out correct answer to my questions he just lied. The manager (Ryan Mager) was worse. He was rude and did not seem to care if I bought a car or not. He was in his office on the computer and his cell phone for 20 minutes while he decided not to accept my offer (Which was $250 of the asking price). He said they did not have much mark up to work with. Just to paint a picture the preowned building is small and dirty. My wife used what was supposed to be the ladies room, there was a playboy on the back of the toilet. She refused to use the bathroom. After I agreed to buy the car and signed all my paper work, I was no more than ten feet away from Ryan Magers office when to quote his exact words to the salesman "You ripped his fuc*ing head off, it should be about a $3500 front end" which I assume means profit!! This by far was the worst experience I have ever had. I forwarded my complaint to Phil Fusz and Jim "somebody" and never heard back. Please do not get taken advantage of DO NOT BUY FROM FUSZ!!
Pros: NONE
Cons: LIARS UNPROFESSIONAL
Dont trust Fusz for your preowned cars. Their prices are higher than average; The service is good only till you BUY the car... after that you are treated badly until you step into the service center.
The staff at the service center are courteous, but the parts and service is overtly expensive.
Tires, Lube, Brake Service - everything is expensive; Not sure why they are always busy - may be all used-car buyers like me keep visiting them for more and more problems with the cars...
I got a Toyota corolla 2002 4 months back; within 2 months its front tires blew-off; And within 4 months it developed problems in its catalytic converter. Not sure what more is in store.
I regret my decision and I dont want others to be hurt by deciding to buy from Fusz.
Ignore them, there are surely many better sellers out there - or buy from inidividuals but give this guy a skip :)
Pros: Staff are courteous;
Cons: Service is bad and expensive; Used-cars are totally low quality and prices misleading. Fake policies witih clauses in the contracts not stated outright.
Not too bad regarding pricing. Initial price quote was a little high, but quickly agreed via a-mail to match other dealer's price quotes. Never tried to beat those quotes, though. So make sure you have other quotes if you're going to deal with them ...
Pros: Agreed to meet any price
Cons: Wouldn't beat best price quote so far
