I am sorry we used Boan. Their follow up service was good, but it took them three time to wire $18,000 worth of equipment correctly. Not happy and will not use again. We went to another company for our regular maintanenace agreement. I recommend checking some other place.

OMG. My house almost blew up, if MO GAS ENERGY guy didn't show immediately. \nWe called for our yearly furnace service, Boan guy come did whatever they do to service a furnace, then I left for work. Came home in the evening and the house smell like GAS! \nDid an emergency call and Mo Gas Energy tell me that apparently the Boan guy forgot to put a cap back on a line that carry gas to blower in furnace, pure gas was just blowing out every time furnace kicked on! Lucky house didn't blow up. Shut off furnace and temperature outside is in the 20s. Since it's after hour Boan didn't have after hour service. \nWhat a joke this company is.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Last August paid $350 for someone to come out and fix my air conditioner. Now its June of the following year and my air conditioner isnt putting out cold air. I was informed that my air conditioner is probably leaking freeon and thats why it is not providing cool air. I was informed that I was going to have to pay $36 per pound of freeon and also pay $96 for a visit. When we called and talked to them over the phone they didnt mention the price of $96 for coming out. We thought we had a warranty that would at least include that, but it didnt. It looks like you have a 30day warranty to save you from another service charge visit. I paid the $96 just to have the same problem as before. There was no way I was going to allow them to temporarily fix it again for another $150 freeon fee. Will not do business again with this company, will look at other businesses that will stand behind their service. Wish I wouldnt have paid $350 in the first place + another $96 today. This stinks.

At Boan Heating & Cooling we put customer service first. We run about 5000 service calls a year. Every once in awhile every business has a customer that wants more than they pay for. The new furnace and coil warranty doesn't extend to the old air conditioner.

I called Boan because my Lennox Air Conditioner (just a few years old) was running almost all of the time but not cooling well. They stated I needed a new coil unit. I also purchased a new furnace upon their recommendation, since it was approximately 17 years old. They gave me a bid on a new Lennox furnace and on an American Standard. I told the to install the Lennox furnace and the new coil unit. They damaged my old furnace and coil unit extensively while removing them then informed me that the Lennox furnace they had would not fit in the space available but they had an American Standard that would. This is a large room, so I can't imagine how big that Lennox furnace was. They assured me that the American Standard furnace would work with my Lennox air conditioner and that I would be pleased and wouldn't have to wait without air conditioning for a Lennox furnace. The air conditioner did not work immediately and a few days later they made an ""after hours call"" (late afternoon) and made some adjustments to the system and the technician told me it would probably need more work and to call back during regular business hours because he had to make another call. Boan will not make a service call unless you agree to a service charge in advance. I spent several thousand dollars, paid in cash, and got ripped off every way possible. Air conditioner is just the same as when I called. It doesn't work or cool properly. What a bunch of scumbags!. Spend your money on a reputable company instead. I am not going to spend good money after spending bad money on this company, like I am sure they would like for me to. It appears that they think once they rip you off they have their hand in your pocket from that time on. People like this give others in the industry a bad name. They are a big rip off!
