I went to the Saturn Dealership after scouring the Northwest for a used car. I had the make and model in mind and checked out numerous dealerships. I went to the Saturn dealer in Renton that had an ad on Craigslist for the car I was looking for. The thing I had to get over was that they really didn't want to haggle with me. why? Because their price was the best, and was accurately represented in both Kelly Blue Book and Nada Guides, which they showed me (and I independently validated at home). They also showed me the CarFax report and explained as much as they could about one minor item reported on there. I was greeted by a friendly salesman and when I got into my haggle mode I got a chance to meet the GM who wasn't interested in my low offers but did move on the price closer to my budget. 6 weeks later, I can say I am very satisfied with the overall experience. The car is running great with no issues. I believe I got the car, as advertised, at the best price in the region. (Note, I visited 3 other dealerships, including one that was the dealrship for the car make I bought, who all had their prices artificially inflated by 3-5 k, on a car I ended up buying for around 13k)...Not sure if the previous reviews are current, but as the management recently changed at this dealership and my experience was fine. Just get used to not haggling, but do your research and validate prices on your own so if you get shut down in the haggle, you at least know you are getting a fair price.

Pros: No haggle pricing lowest in Northwest

Cons: They could a better job calming down initial fears (Carfax)

I happen to be very knowledgeable about cars so I know BS when I hear one. During my 3 hour visit at this dealership I was lied to so many times that I lost the count. The incompetence and the attitude of the staff were simply appalling. Even though I was ready to buy the car that day I left without getting it and I bought one somewhere else a few days later.

Save yourself the trouble and shop at a place where salespeople and the general manager are at least half decent human beings who will not lie in your face just to rip you off.

Pros: None that I can think of

Cons: Lying staff, rude general manager, inflated prices

Found exactly what I was looking for! My salesman was super easy to work with. No pressure, and no haggling with these guys. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I will be back when I need another.

My 2005 Vue was performing normally when I dropped it off for routine service at the Renton Saturn. When I picked it up, they told me that the rear drive module needed to be replaced at a cost of $2700 + labor. There is now a bad knocking sound from the rear drive module and a nasty shimmy when accelerating past 55MPH. This didn't develop gradually - I had absolutely no knock or shaking before these pirates got their claws into my car, and the knocking was in full force as I pulled out of their lot. I went back and asked to speak with the mechanic who performed the service on my car (who was mysteriously listed as "Mechanic 3" on the printout) and was told that I could not. When I asked the service manager to ask the mechanic for more details on the problem, the manager refused. He simply insisted that I replace the rear drive module. Watch out with this place.
