If you live in Western Washington and want a Pfaff, you have to go to Quality Sewing and Vacuum because they are the only authorized dealer in the area (to my knowledge). When I went in to research a new serger Ester showed me a model that was out of my price range, so we moved to another one. I asked about other brands, and she said they weren't worth looking at. What? I thought I wanted a Pfaff, but I wanted to know what other brands offered. She only spoke down about them and wouldn't demo. I eventually did settle on a Pfaff, but once I went to pay she pushed very hard for an extended service warranty (knowing I was pushing my budget as it was) for several hundred dollars more. If the product is so good, it should be able to hold up to everyday use. If not, it shouldn't cost $1400. I actually left and later than night had terrible buyers remorse and felt like a chump. They got my money, but will not get return business.
