Run by a woman named Lorraine, this well-kept consignment shop with high standards and very good quality items was a great discovery. I have a 1-year old daughter and have found countless outfits and household items there. Lots of vintage chic (yes, I just made that up!), lots of the basics, and always something unexpected! The owner inspects things carefully upon consignment, so you know you're not going to get any hidden disappointments - which can often be the case when buying "gently used" items.

While I've done more purchasing than consigning at Sweet Cheeks, I've definitely made my fair share of cash by recycling the stuff that survived our baby's first year in decent shape. Even those baby items that got outgrown too soon and were never used... she pays a 50% split on consignments and after 90 days, you can either pick up your items or if she doesn't hear from you, all items are considered forfeited to the shop. Pretty good deal, compared to what other shops of the same nature are offering.

Sweet Cheeks is mostly stocked with baby and toddler merchandise and they have lots of clothing items (sizes Newborn-5Y mostly, limited inventory of sizes 6-12), seasonal stuff, books, toys, shoes, household and kitchen stuff... more than I can even recall! And they get tons of new things all the time so the inventory's always different. Only ten minutes south of downtown, it is completely worth the drive!
