When I hired them they were FSTN and in the last correspondence I received their letter head had changed to Safe Tax Help. I understand, as FSTN they had received 40+ with the business bureau complaints... They are after your penalties and interest and will use your disdain toward the service against you. My story is they did recover over $1200 but billed me for $1400. I lost $161 in the process which lasted over 2 years. It is a legalized ponzi and I was the mark. Don't you be the next victim...

I retained the services of FSTN in 4/2008 to assist w/ tax issues. I initially spoke w/ Jerry Adams, who assured me their goal was '100% customer satisfaction.' Jerry seemed helpful & willing to help at the outset; however, that rapidly changed.

Over a period of weeks I e-mailed Danielle Fye, the person assigned to my acct, & did not hear back . I sent her an email on 5/29/2008 & she finally responded 10 days later to say 'I would love to do something about this. but you have not sent back our financial questionnaires' I had ret'd questionnaires, so I responded & said I was frustrated. I also said: "I gave you guys $4,000 & it took you 10 days to respond to my e-mail."

On 6/11 Jerry Adams called & left voice mail. I called Mr. Adams on 6/12. He started off conversation pleasantly. We joked a bit; then started talking about IRS State tax levy. At some point I told him that I was frustrated because when we'd received notification from husband's work about them taking $$, I e-mailed Danielle Fye to ask if she could do something, and it took her 10 days to respond back to me. He immediately became aggressive, raised his voice & started forcefully telling me they had sent me 3 letters. I said I hadn't received any letters. He said then there must be some problem w/ the mail. He said FSTN "does not respond to e-mail w/ e-mail, only w/ letters." I asked why. He started screaming (yes, literally screaming!) & telling me not to talk over him or talk down to him (I wasn't). He was yelling so loudly I had to hold the phone away from my ear. I put him on speaker home and my friend, Nicole, witnessed the rest of the conversation w/ Mr. Adams. Mr Adams told me I was out of compliance & I'd better do what he said when he said or he'd make sure I paid for it. He said I'd better call back when he was in a better mood because he'd had an awful day w/ the IRS.

The conversation degraded from there & the upshot is FSTN has $4,000+ of mine & has done NOTHING to help me.

Pros: Good at getting customers

Cons: They do not deliver on ANY of their promises

I have no idea what the other "reviewer" here is talking about, because my experience with this company has been wonderful. It looks to be a fake posted by someone at some other company. In any event, this company is honest, professional, and offers a multitude of worthwhile programs for people and businesses who need help with their taxes. They filed back returns for me, they negotiated a liveable repayment program and stopped the garnishment of my wages and my bank accounts. They were also able to reduce the penalty charges on my bill. I am now done with the IRS, once and for all.
I owe that to the tax professionals at FSTN. I was always treated with respect and empathy during the process. They were always straight with me about what I needed to do to help get things in order. I suspect that some people may not WANT to hear that part of their problem is about what THEY need to take responsibility for, and might consider that "rude". But the only way I was going to get thru this was to take some responsibility for my own actions.
Thanks so much for all your help, FSTN.

They are rude, hostile, will hang up on you and will cruse at you any chance they get. They will take your money for something you can do on your own. DO NOT seek their help!!
