Back in December WIld Waves has a great deal in store. You can get season pass tickets for just $50. Me and my dad each got one. If you do that you save yourself time for no standing in lines to get in. Lines aren't that much a problem. The best part about Wild Waves is they have wet rides for when you get hot on the dry rides. SUre the food can get pricy but if the family pitches in you can combine your money instead of just having one person pay for the food.
The thing about Wild Waves is, un-like some places at Wild Waves you just pay one fee and you cna go on tons of rides as many times as you want without having to continually pay for tickets. You can even come pretty early in the morning and stay until 8 p.m
For the parents: Lets say your kids are really bummed out because you can't afford Disney Land this Summer. Surprise them one morning and tell them to get swimsuits and towels and put them in the car. Drive to Wild Waves and surprise them. They'll forget all about Disney Land when they have fun this summer.
Bored one morning with nothing to do. Go to Wild Waves.
Most importantly: HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to share some info I found because we have a family of six and WW is way expensive so we look for deals, If you call 12063861925 you can purchase WW tickets for $24 and the money goes to help the Seattle youth program, so its a good cause and can save you quit a bit of $$ we saved about 100 bucks, we also always leave to eat, there is a costco about a block away so we leave and go get hot dogs there and come back, parking would be my biggest complaint why charge so much for families that are already giving you three hundred bucks to get in!!!! But I guess its about the same at baseball and football games!

We went for someone's birthday and it was awful. First, it took forever to find a free parking spot. It costed way too much money. Then we got in the wrong line, apparently, after 10 minutes of waiting had to switch lines to another 10 minutes. After our bags were ransacked for food, we got inside and had to find an available seat. We somehow found one lawnchair for 4 people eventually. The water was freezing cold. The air was humid. The ground physically burnt my feet as I walked across it. We went into the wave pool which smelled, and tasted, disgusting, and burnt our eyes; it was also very crowded. We went to a different area which had floating bandaids left and right, dirt on the bottom, and the hot tub had kids splashing and hitting complete strangers, including me. We had to yell at one to stop. After that ordeal, we moved onto the rides. By this time we were all very tired, me especially, and burning up. We went on the lazy river and I got seperated from my dad because they wouldn't let us hold onto each other. After 20 minutes of trying to find each other, we all reunited and moved up to an area with food. I was EXHAUSTED, I could barely even talk. I really wanted cotton candy and my dad couldn't buy it because no place accepted credit cards. So, having to refill our water bottle in a line for the water fountain 3 times, we finally headed to leave. I was tired and exhausted. It was horrible.

I read the reviews and I am amazed at all the negative comments. I agree that the prices are unreasonable for food and drinks. The parking when I went last weekend was $10.00.

The solution to all this if you live in the area is to purchase annual memberships. They can be purchased off season for about $50.00 or during the season for around 80.00. We only purchased 2 for the adults and received coupons for additional guest at $12.00 per person or in some cases free. We also purchased an annual parking pass for $35.00. Inside they offer a drink bottle for $8.50 with $1.00 refills for the entire season or fill it up for free at the drinking fountain. With a season pass you then are able to bypass the ticket line.

We first went just the two adults to check out the park to figure out what the best options for our family were. We avoided the ticket line by purchasing our tickets online. The food solution will be our biggest hurdle. For the two of us it wasn't horrible to purchase food and honestly the food wasn't bad. Drinks are a rip off. We can bring a cooler and leave it in the car as you are allowed to leave and reenter the park (and the parking lot should you want to go nearby and grab lunch).

The only other issues are lockers and rental tubes. You are almost forced to rent a tube at $11.00 with a $3.00 deposit returned. If you rent a tube you don't have to wait in the tube lines and those lines can be very very long. Then in the event you want to ride something without a tube you are risking someone stealing your tube.

We did rent a locker for our valuables and that is $14.00 for a small locker with $8.00 refundable deposit. It is a small price for a piece of mind.

As for the employees. I don't really feel like they need to be friendly. They are there to do their job and with the combination of people and water all there attention needs to be focused on safety. I will concede that we ran into a few very rude attendants in the theme side of the park and it was a little disappointing.

Overall, I would agree that for the day wild waves is very expensive. I agree that Silverwood is the way to go instead of a day at Wild waves but you will have to travel to Idaho and pay for a hotel. I felt just as comfortable at WW and WW have by far more rides for the younger ones. Rides at Silverwood have lines that are just as long if not longer.

This place is a joke! The economy is already bad enough, and this place wants you to pay $12 to park and $38 just to get in their door! You would think they could find a easier way for families to afford something fun to do with their kids. Bathrooms are disgusting food is over priced crap and their staff have NO SOCIAL SKILLS! Don't plan on going on ALL the rides. all the times we have been there they are broke down. So you can just look at them as you walk by. Not sure why people rave about such a place. Bring $200 with you as that is what the day will cost for a family of four. Sad parking used to be free, six flags comes along keeps the same dirty place doesn't upgrade it one bit and then wants you to pay $12 bucks for your car in an unsecured area! NO THANKS if I want to burn $200 I will just lite it on fire. The lake is free and I know who has touched my food!

Well what to say about wild waves...first of all if your going to go regularly GET A SEASON PASS. its much cheaper then paying every time you go. and you don't have to wait in those long long lines. also try to get some one to drop you off so you don't have to pay a crappy 12$ fee. and then another 40 dollars just to get in.the prices for then food are outrageous! you want me to pay 3 dollars for water!? not happening. i have personally found a way to sneak food in. try it there nothing to lose.the prices are stupid but the rides make up for it!!! there so much fun!!! there endless things to do. i hate the lines but the rides are so worth it. I will say this. the sanitation isn't very good. its gross. the changing rooms are horrible. ugh I've even been in a hot tub and a little white thing floated towards me. that ended hot tubPROS: amazing ridesCONS: ridiculous prices, dirty.

I realize this is an outdoor water park, but this place was so dirty it was disgusting. Other than that, the place had lots of rides and is a good way to pass a nice, summer day. Parking is expensive, so try to carpool if possible.

Wow. what can i say you have to pay $12 dollars just to park!
i mean come on now. Were jus parking here. Well get a hold of this. You have to pay 25 dollars or more to get in! All i have to say is LOWER YOUR PRICES FOR ONCE!!. Oh better yet once you get in and your feeling hungry for an elephant ear or a drink the price is almost as much as you pay for your parking ticket...
Better yet you have to stand in the longest line ever if you are wanting to ride any of there rides..Wild Waves is not a good deal. Its a good deal if your trying to waiste over 100 dollars jus to get in and park..I do not reccomend this theme park to anyone.Unless your a person willing to waiste that kind of money..

Even though enchanted village is for the older kids, usually 8-9 years and up, well, its still a great place! I was 7 years old last time I went with my family. I have been to disney land, six flags magic mountain, tons. I'll tell you NOTHING tops enchanted village. I am hoping to go back this summer! I completely forgot about it! But recently I got a piece of mail about it and remembered all the fun! I would reccomend it to anyone. I think it totally tops the wild waves water park! I'm looking to go back there ASAP! -(when it opens!)

This park is surprisingly exciting - even for adults. Aside from having to in line outside the park (even after pre-purchasing the tickets), I had a great time! Never a dull moment between the countless water slides, the never-ending Kanga River inter-tube ride and the gut wrenching ring of fire.

Pros: Many rides to choose from, fair prices
Cons: Long lines for certain rides

Anyone looking for great family fun in a clean atmosphere with employees that have social skills, who doesn??t want to be robbed blind should steer clear of Wild Waves Enchanted Parks. I??m not speaking of people stealing things out of your bag while you??re on the water slide, I??m referring to the Wild Waves establishment itself. Parking was arbitrary doubled a couple years ago up to $12, with no improvements to the half-gravel lot and no visible improvements to the rides or service inside. There is a huge list of rides that are closed to no apparent reason at any given time. Your bags are checked for food and beverages at the gate so that they can force you to buy greasy low quality food (it??s even low quality according to kids who like junk food) for outrageous prices, and the beverage vending machines items are $3--more than twice what it is everywhere else in Federal Way. The bathrooms can be smelled from outside.
My children??s school was offered a group discount if it sold more than 100 tickets to Wild Waves. There was admission tickets, and another option of admission with lunch. Since I didn??t want to carry a big wad of cash and we can??t bring in food, I bought 3 admission with lunch tickets. There was no mention of whether the tickets themselves were good for the lunches or if separate coupons were necessary. Never having bought such a package before, I figured when I received my tickets that they were lunch-inclusive, possibly by the design on the ticket or the color code (it had a prominent purple border). I took my daughters to Wild Waves on June 11th, 2007, which was the designated day. Several schools were thre. Only about half of the rides were open. At lunch time, I attempted to get lunch for my daughters and myself and were refused. So I went to the Customer Relations Office to see what could be done about it. The two young staffers were very polite and called to get clearance from their manager to give me lunch coupons. They were refused. I asked their manager to come and explain why I paid for 3 lunches and wasn??t allowed to get them. She was angry and confrontational from the moment she came in. She told me that I should drive to my children??s school and clear it up. (Ridiculous suggestion, since school is closed for the summer. And who is going to drive all over town and then actually come back to eat that food? If we were going to leave Wild Waves, we??d eat some real food before coming back. The only reason we bought lunch deal in the first place is that they check bags at the gate so that they can squeeze every dime out of every customer. Besides, Wild Waves already received our money for admission and lunches. The school didn??t get a dime of it. It wasn??t a fundraiser. The check??s been cashed, Wild Waves has my money. ) She implied that I was lying to try to get a free lunch. She said, ??If I gave coupons to every person who came in here with a sob story like you, we??d give free lunches to everyone.? To which I answered, ??As long as we??re extrapolating, if Wild Waves offers deals to everyone and takes their money but doesn??t give them what they??ve paid for, they would be criminally charged for fraud.? She didn??t have an answer for that and just got rude. And she insisted that I had to buy my lunches with cash. I already paid for the lunches. I was not about to pay double to a crooked establishment that gouges the customer at every possible turn--fraudulent deals, double price for parking, more than double prices for beverages, paying for huge admission to use rides that aren??t even open for use....ridiculous. I told her to look at my small daughters in the eye and tell them they can??t eat lunch today, and she refused, and again implied that I was a liar and trying to get free lunches. We left Wild Waves. For anyone with customer service training, or anyone else with a civil upbringing, I??m sure it is clear that the rude management at Wild Waves , their refusal to work out the problem, their price-gouging from inflated parking fees, to closing huge lists of rides, to inspections that are stricter than border crossings to keep edible food out of the park so that everyone has to buy their over-priced junk food...Wild Waves is highway robbery. You can see it when you drive down I-5--just look over and notice the gaudy-colored rip-off establishment that doesn??t value their customers and doesn??t honor their deals.

This is a really fun water park, situated next to an amusement park full of rides. The water park has a huge wave pool, a current pool, a hot tub pool and lots of other areas with slides, rides, ropes, etc. Guaranteed FUN on a hot day. This attraction is located in Federal Way, Wa. Food in the park is pricey, so pack your own and bring plenty of drinks and sunscreen.

PROS:
CONS: Food for sale inside the part is expensive and not that great quality

Enchanted Village Theme park is next to Wild Waves. What a great way to spend quality time with the kids and become a kid yourself. The water park is the best around. Not as good as the water parks in Texas, but it is closer and much more fun then my bath tub.

PROS: Great Clean Entertainment (punn intended )
CONS: Food is pricey and not that healthy

I took my 40-year-old brother here while he was visiting at his request. The only problem? I went with my 1 1/2-year-old at the same time. I didn't think there would be anything for her to do, but I was wrong! They have a great water play area near where the older kids get to go on water rides. In addition, this water park is connected to an amusement park where there are rides for both older kids and adults, and also little kiddie rides. My daughter was too young for the kiddie rides, but did go on her first merry-go-round with her uncle and LOVED it!

PROS: Great choices for everyone so that all can enjoy.
CONS: expensive

I took my 40-year-old brother here while he was visiting at his request. The only problem? I went with my 1 1/2-year-old at the same time. I didn't think there would be anything for her to do, but I was wrong! They have a great water play area near where the older kids get to go on water rides. In addition, this water park is connected to an amusement park where there are rides for both older kids and adults, and also little kiddie rides. My daughter was too young for the kiddie rides, but did go on her first merry-go-round with her uncle and LOVED it!

PROS: Great choices for everyone so that all can enjoy.
CONS: expensive

Wild Waves is a wonderful, fun place for kids of all ages! There is a variety of activities for the very young, way up to seniors. The wave pool is great fun, as are all the other attractions.
It's great on a hot day--but cooler days make up for the weather by having less crowded conditions. As one boy put it, after being there all day, "This was next to the best day of my whole life." Mades me wonder where he was on the very best day!

Wild waves is the largest NW Water Park. Along with many water rides it also has roller coasters and what you would call typical carnival type rides. Only wish it wasn't so crowded on the hot days.

This park has a lot to do, but WOW is it crowded - at least everytime I'm there, and that detracts from the experience. On cooler days bring a sweatshirt.

Wild Waves in Federal Way is a great place to take kids and teens in the summer time. We would often bring our friends from out of town here for some wild water fun. The park is full of water slides, pools, hot tubs, speed slides, and a wave pool where you can boogie board and/or play in the waves. There's lots of room for sun bathing as well. You can have a full day of activity here, but it can be quite pricey. The food is expensive and not particularly healthy. Parking is ample. They also host private parties here.

PROS: Many water activities
CONS: Expensive

This is a great park to take family and friends to. The only drawbacks are that you can only really go there during two months out of the year, or you freeze your butt off!

Wild Waves and Enchanted Parks recently became a six flags property and is really the only Seattle area water/theme part around. Though the part can't compare to other Six Flags, it is a great place for rides and a chance to cool down in the summer. You can usually save money by finding coupons on soda cans or at local stores. It's expensive, but there aren't any other parks in the area to compete with it. Since becoming a six flags property they are continuing to develop new rides and expand the parks offerings.

We went there the last day of the season, and it was $10 per person for the rides and the water activities! It was a little too cold for us and the water, so we opted to go on the rides all day. It was perfect...there was hardly anyone there, so no lines. At times we just stayed on the rides and kept riding them. They had a lot of rides for my kids, 3 & 5 which was great. It kept them entertained all day!

I love going to this place I just wish they were open year round its so fun! They have some of the best water slides Ive ever been on. The wave pool is HUGE and a load of fun! They are connected to enchanted village which is also a load of fun!, You can enter for just wild waves or both. Prices are very good! Some may say its expensive but just think you would spend more going to a boring carnival on all the rides. The entry price is for every ride and slide you could think of! Its great fun!

On a hot day Wld Waves is one of the must places to visit if your in Washington. We took a trip out to Seattle last year and this was one of the places we visited for the kids. They loved every minute at the this water park. The admission I thought was a little expensive but still worth the fun if you arrive early and stay long.

Wild Waves is one of the only formidable theme/entertainment parks available in Washington state, and as such it has quite a lot of others to live up to. After going to this park for five straight years, I can say that it gets better every year. The addition of the Timberhawk has nearly doubled the fun of Wild Waves, which can be attributed to its purchase by Six Flags. The prices do seem to continually rise though so your best bet is to go now if you've never been. The wave pool is enjoyable and large in size, other rides are also suitable for all ages, including areas primarily for children, and others primarily for teenagers. One downer is the fact that food is extremely expensive. Hot dogs can be more than $5 and pop in upwards of $3.50! Overall, if you find no problem with the cost of movie theater food, and you want theme park entertainment in Washington, give this place a try!

PROS: Entertaining and getting better every year.
CONS: Expensive admission and expensive food.

This park is unique in that you go from the roller coaster type amusement park straight into the water park and can pay to cross over all day long. It's pretty pricey considering it's not really the best amusement park/water park but it's the only one on the western side of the state. And kids really do love it and don't know the difference unless they have been to other parks. Six Flags did buy the park over so hopefully one day they will start adding the really cool roller coasters!

If you would like a day of fun Enchanted Village is the place to go. My kids had fun at this park . The food was good at the concession stands. The rides alway were a lot of fun. From the moment you walk in you feel like you are in another world. You walk into a truly enchanted village. The storybook characters, the trees, and the music herald a fun day to come. The staff will interact with your children and make them have the best day. You can usually ride the rides as many times as you want, and there is no shortage of fun. Enchanted village is a big place and chock full of things children can do. There even have a petting zoo. My child and I really enjoyed the facepainting also. Even after the stamp fades from your hand you will remember the fun day that you had. There is an great amount of parking, the prices are right on, and you will enjoy your time here.

I think wild waves is a ripoff. The lines are too long on any warm day. Also the prices are outrageous. There is litter on the ground and hard to get on rides because of crowding. I would recommend Henry moses aquatic center or any other smaller water park to cool off in.

WIld Waves started as a smaller park years ago that didn't see much improvement, but recently after it was purchased, it has seen a ton of upgrades and expansions. They have added new rides and slides and made the place a lot more fun to visit again and again. Many locals like to buy season passes for their kids, so they have something to do any day they want during the summer. Wild Waves also has a halloween decorated week and a Christmas theme once a year.

This is the best water park I have ever been to in the Pacific NW. I was so impressed. Wild Waves and Enchanted Village has something for everyone young and old. The water park has numerous water rides like the rapids ,zooma falls, thunder falls and the wave pool. And the wee ones have their own section of kiddie rapids, palm trees that rain and so much more. The enchanted village has the best thrill rides and lots of things for the little tike's. At first the prices seem spendy but you are getting The Enchanted village, The thrill rides, Arcades and the Wild Waves water park all in one place. Well worth it. They have food stands, a restaurant , or you can bring your own picnic. They have a cute little shop for souvenirs. If you want a great time than you have to make a visit to the Park for fun fun fun.

We went to Wild Waves for a company picnic. It's a little pricey to visit (around $120 for a family of four) for other than special occasions. They do have water fun for all ages, and it is a good-sized park. We found plenty for our 1 1/2 year-old to do. You definately can spend all day there. The park got very hot, so don't forget your sunscreen!

This park seems to have been originally built for a very younger crowd, with its "enchanted" feel. They later added more rides, to attract a more mature group. However even these more excting roller coasters are not all that great and there are only a couple. The land that the park was built on is very densely covered by trees, which makes brings back that unique enchanted feeling. Its definately good for younger children, and pre-adults, but don't be expecting any rip-roaring fun from any of these rides.

As we approached the top of one of the water slides, my sister turned to me and said she wants to celebrate her 50th birthday with me there. YIKES!!! Good thing this is a fun water park with plenty to do. We never ran out of laughs and fun while we were there. I will definitely go back. Better start dieting so I can fit in my suit next year.

You'd better bring the sunscreen because the day passes quickly and you don't realize how long you've been out in the sun. The slides are great and there are plenty of other rides on the property. There is something for kids of all ages.

CONS: a little on the dirty side; spendy

Enchanted Village is a Six Flags amusement park located in Federal Way, which is about a half hour south of Seattle. Were amusement park starved up here in Seattle, and believe it or not, this is the only amusement park within a days drive of Seattle! As a kid, I always took school field trips to this park and remember going on rides with all my friends. There are more thrilling rides there now then there were then. While its no Knotts Berry Farm, its all weve got!
