I went here with 3 other gals (our pinochle group). We had bid and won on this retreat at an auction. As it turns out the prize was for a smaller room but they accommodated us by giving us their loft room, 2 queen size beds, one up, one down, 2 bathrooms. When we went to pay the extra, they would not accept it. This place was lovely, built to look like a cannery. Room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Their hospitality was super!

I went here for a last hurrah when my very pregnant best friend and I wanted a weekend get-away together before she became too busy for any get-aways ever again. We had a loft room, which means that her bed was in the top and my bed was below, along with a living room and kitchen. The water was right outside our window. We could still walk up the hill into town and along the water on the pretty grassy pathway. A very nice weekend retreat.

Editorial from

Construction materials such as weather-beaten wood and corrugated iron have been used to give this inn the appearance of an old cannery or one of the other buildings that inhabit its boatyard setting. But don't let this rustic first…
