Called the service/parts department in Lynnwood and told the guy what I wanted. Said he would call me the next morning with a quote. He got my voicemail. When I returned the call they had no record of it nor did they know who he was. When I rechecked the voicemail to get a name I called back and was on hold FOREVER. I left a voicemail. I gave it 3 hours and called them and the operator person claimed both people in service/parts are "busy with stove season and getting ready for the fairs". Shouldn't a paying customer supersede getting ready for the fair? Walked away from this series of phone calls feeling very frustrated. All I want is some parts. Too much to ask maybe? I took my business elsewhere who answers the phone promptly and had the parts in stock or could pick up at the warehouse. DO NOT waste time with Richs in Lynnwood.

I never knew that quality patio furniture like the kind you find at Rich's ever existed. Rich's showrooms are incredible and their staff is so professional. Nothing better than having dinner outdoors in the beautiful Northwest on a great looking set of patio furniture

Rich's is severely lacking in customer service. The one person who did offer GREAT customer service was the installer, but he is not even a direct employee but contracted to do the installation as an independent contractor by Rich's, so you could use him w/o even dealing w/ Rich's! They do not respond when they say they will on estimates, they do not mail materials when they say they will. They charge for everything extra that they can and even when you pay for 100% labor and materials upfront and a simple install is done in one hour, they will call and claim you owe more $$$ for labor (when no custom labor was done) and not supply an invoice or verifiable reason. This is after prepaying over $5000 for all labor and supplies upfront! If you call and ask if pellets are in supply they will assure you there are, you will drive up there and they will have none in stock - this will happen MORE tTHAN ONCE! If they promise they can deliver 1 ton of pellets, they will only do this if the pellets are in stock on the day they want to deliver. If pellets are out of stock on the day they want to deliver, they will make you come pick up the ton of pellets yourself even after telling you they will deliver - only AFTER arguing with you that they decided not give you the ton of pellets and then finally agreeing again that they will! My family and I have done business with Rich's before the past few years and will never be repeat customers again. After paying for 4 new stoves from them within my immediate family, this is the poor service we received trying to be loyal customers and we will NOT go through them again. We expected that for such expensive service we would get good customer service and have not recieved it!!!

I love coming in this place just to look at their beautiful indoor and outdoor appliances. They installed our wonderful gas fireplace and even though it was a very difficult job, it was done in about 3 hours including cleaning our chimney and taking away our old wood burner.

We paid 100% up front for a gas stove. I suggest you do 50% down and 50% on delivery. Also when installers arrive have them do an inventory and if all the parts aren't there, tell them to come back when they have the parts. If you pay up front and get a partial install, you will have problems getting Rich's attention and a follow up. Multiple phone calls using my time to coordinate Rich's and their Installers poor part management took hours and then you have to take another afternoon off work to meet them. YUK!

PROS: Good products and not bad prices
CONS: If you pay up front and there's a problem you got trouble

I bought a propane fireplace insert at Rich's. I felt it was a high quality product at a very good price as it was a floor sample. The only issue I had with it was that after installation we would smell propane on occasion. We had the installer out several times before he found a leak in one of the pipes he had installed. He repaired the pipe and my house didn't blow up, but it still made me a little uncomfortable. I am not sure that I would buy from them again.
