Ruby Asian Dining was closed down a couple months ago and has now re-opened as Sabai. I went there tonight (1/26/11) and spoke with the lady running the front of the house. She said Sabai had the same owners as Ruby, but new management

Located right on Leschi, near the Daniel's Broiler (a little hard to find), Ruby Asian dining has a great menu, new asian-fusion cocktails and a great location. excellent experience overall

True, you can hit this place on a good night and have a decent Thai meal. Although, more often than not this place is pretty well below par. I live a block away and have eaten here (Phad See Ew) about 10 or 15 times. About 85% of the time its definitely passable, but not much else. Maybe other dishes are better? Other friends have eaten a variety of their dishes with the same lackluster response. Great location. Too bad it's no Kwanjai.
