I absolutely love this place in the summer and winter. Especially the winter where if you have a water view you can see the waves crashing. The fire place just gives it the perfect setting

I absolutely loved my stay at Semiahmoo Resort. We went with my husband's company for their annual retreat. The rooms were amazing, there is a pool and hot tub on site that is wonderful, and the view and grounds are terrific. You can go on long romantic walks, and it is so peaceful. They have a spa that offers massages for a fee, and the restaraunt serves good food and drinks. I would recommend this resort to anyone who wants a romantic and/or peaceful getaway. Plus it is just south of the Canadian border if anyone wanted to venture over.

Semiahmoo was named by Seattle Bride as the best destination place for a wedding. So, we booked it for my son's wedding and from the very day we booked it, we were screwed at every turn. They had the wrong dates in the computer (we booked this in person) and they had the wrong dates on our contract. If a big convention wants to book the facility, they will "bump" you to a different time & venue because they make more money on conventions. The day my son was married, they had 2 other weddings going on. Thus, you are sharing the most important day of your life with others. The sales manager did not follow thru from start to finish....we always had to contact her about the obvious and nine times out of ten, she couldn't do it. They DON'T accomodate you, rather, you have to accomodate them. For the amount of money they charge, it is a horrible place to have a wedding. The food is average and very expensive. Bottom Line:Don't have your wedding there!
Pros: Pretty setting - right on the water
Cons: They will NOT accomodate you....customer service is VERY POOR
