Since I work in the health care arena, I really value health care providers who are on top of their game, instead of resting on 20 year old training. No matter what issue I bring to Dr. Kearney, he's been reading the current literature on the matter, and is always up-to-date. I've seen him for four years for chronic neck and back pain and trust him implicitly to treat me properly and with the latest information he can get. He frequently mentions the latest seminar he's attended (or taught!). I appreciate that at University Chiropractic, I'm not just a number. I have a personal relationship with Dr. Kearney, and with Nedra, who makes the office run so smoothly! How many times have you changed health care providers not because of the care, but because of the office management? Nedra makes getting in and out of your appointment a dream. The website is also an amazing tool. I regularly look up Dr. Kearney's thoughts on health and well-being topics. Please see Dr. Kearney. You're quality of life will improve dramatically!
Pros: Personalized care, free parking, warm atmosphere
Cons: NONE!!

I drive from Olympia to Seattle to see him. I always feel great afterwards. Better than taking pills for the pain.
Pros: parking is paid for and very close to the building.
Cons: long drive for me.

Dr. Kearney is not only knowledgeable but he's caring! Finally a place where you don't feel like your sitting in a doctors office! I suffered from lower back pains practically my whole life and after a few visits to Dr. Kearney's Chiropratic clinic I'm now pain free!!
Pros: Atmosphere, knowledge, staff, results

Dr. Eugene Kearney, DC is a terrific Chiropractor. My business partner and I both see Dr. Kearney. He helped my husband manage a permanent neck injury allowing him to return to work. Dr. Kearney has a compassionate personality with and good sense of humor and he is well informed about research and new methods of treatment. We would highly recommend him to anyone needing chiropractic care. My husband and I have been going to see him on a regular basis for over 5 years and we will continue. In his office on Saturday, Liz Smart does the scheduling and office managing and she is just a joy.
Pros: Great care, Dr. Kearney high level of expertise, open Saturdays and evenings

Dr. Eugene Kearney is the very best Doctor I have ever had the privilege of managing my care. Doctor Kearney practices an Holistic approach to patient care. He is well versed in the latest Chiropractic findings and together with his vast knowledge of western medicine and holsitic practices, he treats the patient's whole body. If there has ever been a time when he cannot answer a question for me, he researches the question and gets back to me with several different options and his primary recommendations. Once meeting this wonderful doctor, you know you have finally found the best, most caring professional in which to place the care of your body. I have been seeing Dr. Kearney for over four years, and I will always contact him first if I have any type of medical problem. His advice has never been wrong! All of these wonderful qualities, and he is not one-bit eqotistical....he is there for the patient, and it shows! Go see him! He will help you to the best of his ability......which is HUGE!
Pros: Knowledgeable, caring, patient-first attitude, well-versed in all types of medicine and most knowledgable Chiropractor ever seen.
Cons: ABSOLUTELY NONE!

I have been going to Dr. Kearney for four years. my children and I drive from Kirkland to Seattle to see him. It is a long way but I am extremely particular on who I allow to work on my body. My children and I each have different issues with our backs and Dr. Kearney sees that and adjusts for it. He takes his time with us so that the adjustments are just right. I feel very lucky to have such a knowledgeable chiropractor.
Out of the 8 chiropractors I have seen throughout my life, Dr. Kearney is by far the best as he takes his time, seeing each one of us as different cases and works on us accordingly with a high degree of knowledge.

I had an injury to my neck over 20 years ago and have suffered from headaches that lasted anywhere from a day to a week. (I didn?t know the headaches were related to the neck injury) I never even imagined what life would be like without the constant headaches. After several treatments with Dr. Kearney, the headaches are gone. He is awesome beyond words?go see him!!!
Pros: really listened to what I was saying

I had intermittent upper back pain for 2 years before seeking out a Chiropractor. Like many people I was a skeptic...but after a couple of months of treatment from Dr. Kearney I was able to understand what caused the pain and how to manage it. Through continued care the pain rarely returns and owe it all to Dr. Kearney's technique for back care.
Pros: Thumbs up!

Doctor Eugene Kearney, D.C., Jennifer Christian, LAC and Linda Langford, LMP, together with Nedra Callahan, Office Manager, comprise the very best team of natural, holistic and nuturing care. Both Jennifer and Dr. Kearney were recommended to me following a bad vehicle accident in 2004. I also suffer from several autoimmune diseaes and bad spinal conditions. Dr. Kearney and Ms. Christian have the knowledge, skill set and caring attitude to help me more than any other practictioners I have visited throughout my life. They moved their office recently due to a leasing situation.....and I and all of their other patients have followed them to their new location. If they ever move again.....I will again follow them to their new location......this illustrates what special professionals and wonderful people they truly are. I trust their care and advice implicitly and most certainly do recomend all clinic staff to all my friends, family and acquaintences. (I personally have not been treated by Linda, however, my partner has, and I continually hear such positive input regarding Linda's care, that I most definitely would work with her if it was the best treatment for my specific back problems.) If you are in pain, University Center Chiropractic is the first place to seek and find help for your problems.....from the nicest individuals in the health care industry!!!!

With Dr. Kearney, I am not just another number! He is not only a great chiropractor (I needed his help for chronic neck and lower back pain), he is a compassionate and caring man. He knows what he is doing plus he truly LISTENS to his patients! How about that? The office visits are not just in/out 5 mins visits (like other chiropractors), Eugene engages with his patients at their comfort level to come up with the best treatment/care possible. With him you will have a voice! This type of attitude toward compassionate, caring and humanitarian healing is felt thoughout the practice, by each one of his staff members. I highly recommend him.
Pros: Paid parking; availability; extended hours.

The University Center Chiropractic Clinic has been my top discovery to date in Seattle and I've lived here the better part of six years.
I hurt my back in college at the gym (darn ab machine) and started having muscle spasms. I searched for a chiropractor in the area and struck a veritable gold mine. Dr. Kearney quickly diagnosed the problem and got me feeling better in no time.
He's been practicing for years and this is obvious from the type of care he gives to his patients. He's a straight-talker and doesn't talk down to you at all about what's going on with your body. He's honest about what you need to do to improve your health and really listens to your feedback.
I have recommended him to as many friends as I can who have headache, neck, shoulder, and back issues or just pain in general. Everyone has loved their experience.
Take it from me a guy who's seen multiple chiropractors in my life, you're not going to find someone better than Dr. Kearney.
Pros: Open late, accessible location, friendly staff

I started going to Dr. Kearney when I got a migraine from out of the blue while I was a junior at the UW.
I had been to chiropractors back home before when I needed help with migraines, and knew that they were my best hope for relief. I looked on my insurance's website for the closest chiropractor and found Eugene.
"Excellent, he's in the U-District! I can walk there!" I thought to myself.
And I've been going there for the last three years. Eugene is an EXCELLENT chiropractor. He's very knowledgeable and was actually Washington State chiropractor of the year at one point. Ask him anything you want about your body and he'll probably have some advice for you.
He's also very flexible with his scheduling and tends to work later hours than most "business hours" chiropractors. Perfect for college students.
If you're looking for a chiropractor, call Eugene. He's a great chiropractor and a nice guy!
