I would highly recommend Dr. Diane Chiu @ Pacific Dermatology to anyone who is not happy with their lips. I had always been curious to see what I would look like with fuller lips. Although I was scared they would look fake. I had a consultation and with the gentle encouragement of Dr. Diane Chiu. I decided to throw caution to the wind and try the filler Juvederm. Wow what a difference! I loved the way my lips looked after the procedure and they looked completely natural. I?m hooked and plan on going to Dr. Diane Chiu for future treatments. She is easy to talk to and really knows what she is doing.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chiu for several years. She is one of the best, if not the best doctor I have ever seen. She is amazing in her skills to improve the look and health of my skin. Just recently, I had some pesky breakout issues that at 51 years old, I was really frustrated with -- she immediately sensed my distress, diagnosed the problem, and prescribed treatment that has been 100% effective. She is also the consummate talent when it comes to various cosmetic procedures. I cannot say enough about her and encourage all patients with skin care, dermotological, and/or cosmetic needs and concerns to visit Dr. Chiu.

Diane Chiu is the best! I have been to see her regarding moles, skin, etc..., and everytime, she was professional, caring, and remembered everything about me the next time regarding the previous visit! I don't know why I worry, when I leave feeling great!

I work as an NP in a Medispa, so I know great cosmetic work when I see it. I'm also very picky when it comes to which practitioner I choose to augment my lips. After a few bad lip augmentation experiences, I searched around and found Dr. Chiu. She is a perfectionist and she is very professional. She transformed my thin (chicken) lips into full, natural-looking lips without the pain that is normally associated with this type of procedure. I have referred several of my friends and co-workers to her because I know they will get exactly what they pay for... perfection!

Dr. Chiu is amazing! I had never had filler done before and was nervous to try it. But she knew exactly what to do! The procedure was much more comfortable than I ever imagined. Dr. Chiu did exactly what I asked for and made everything look totally natural. Since then I have had many more compliments lately on my looks than normal but no one, including my friends who have Botox and fillers done on a regular basis, have guessed that I had anything done. Its amazing at how much better the area she worked on looks but that it was done so well that nobody can tell that I had filler!

Dr. Diane Chiu was recommended to me by two other family practice doctors in town, she is really everything you want in a dermatologist. She can do skin checks for cancer, plus cosmetic procedures are available. As a busy salon owner, I send all my customers to her with no hesitation. She is simply great at everything she does at the center, and for the past several years my customers come back raving about Dr. Chiu. There maybe other "famous" dermatologists here in town, but all I hear is that they really don't spend any time with you and end up passing patients onto assistants.

When I went to see Dr. Chiu for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised to find someone who listened to me, gave me top notch medical attention, and went out of her way to actually help me, which I think many doctors forget that their job description is exactly that; to help people.

Dr. Chiu is everything a doctor should be. Very competent, kind, polite, and professional.

I initially went to see Dr. Chiu for Restylane injections for my naso-labial folds (my previous product's life span had expired). After examining my facial structures, Dr. Chiu explained to me that I could get much more dramatic results if I chose to have my cheeks augmented instead of my naso-labial folds. She explained to me how with increasing age our skin elasticity and collagen production decrease and therefore our cheeks start to droop, creating those deep NL folds. She demonstrated how a filler like Radiesse or Perlane injected into my upper cheeks would reverse to signs of gravity, giving my cheeks an instant lift, automatically smoothing out my NL folds.
It made perfect sense and after she was finished working her magic, I could not believe how she instantly erased 5-8 years off my face! My cheek"bones" looked incredible and my smile lines were erased without any additional injections. I was so impressed with her expertise that I told her about the uneven Botox job I had received elsewhere a few weeks earlier. She was able to correct the mistake I thought I had to live with for the next 4 months!! This made me realize how crucial it is to do your research when planning on having cosmetic procedures done! Thank you so much, Dr. Chiu, no other provider will ever touch my face again! I URGE EVERYONE WHO IS CONSIDERING ANY COSMETIC PROCEDURES TO SCHEDULE A FREE CONSULTATION WITH DR. I have had Botox with Dr. Chiu in the past and recently had my first Juvederm injections with her. They won't be my last! Dr. Chiu did a fabulous job. I was comfortable the entire time and my results are better than I could have imagined, yet subtle enough the comments I hear are "you look more youthful than when I saw you last!" and "There is something about you today, did you get some fantastic news or what?". My lips are fuller, natural-looking and symmetric. I had very little bruising and the swelling was minor, fully expected and manageable. My drooping naso-labial folds are gone-my face as a whole looks smoother, more awake, and rested. Thanks Dr. Chiu for boosting my inner spirit with your talents!

Dr. Chiu is a physician and an artist. She exceeds even the most discriminating clients expectations. Both my daughter and I have been in to see her, and she was fantastic in every way. She put us completely at ease (which was wonderful, especially for my doctor-shy, 5-year-old daughter) and yet was totally professional. She all but erased my very-visible stretch marks after the birth of my twins in 2007. I never knew such a thing was possible! I will never look anywhere else for dermatological care.

I have been the recipient of cosmetic procedures since I turned 27 years old. In addition, I have worked in the pharmaceutical/dermatology industry for 8 years. As such, I believe I am qualified as a diligent, cosmetic consumer and am able to say: Dr Diane Chiu is the best Botox, Restylane and Juvaderm injector to ever introduce a needle to my face. Her technique is careful, purposeful and results in almost no bruising and very little discomfort. If you are considering any type of dermatological, cosmetic procedure, you owe it to yourself to see Dr Chiu. All it takes is one careless injector to destroy your confidence in cosmetic procedures. With Dr Chiu, I am certain you will be ecstatic with the results.

You have probably visited this website because you are looking for some sort of answer to a problem you are facing. I know because I have been in your shoes. I truly hope that my story inspires you to select Dr. Diane Chiu to be your dermatologist.

I first met with Dr. Chiu when I was a sophomore in high school. I had terrible acne and was extremely insecure. At my first appointment, she listened carefully, as I explained my concerns and frustrations. Ultimately, we decided that Accutane would be a good course to take in treating my stubborn acne. Dr. Chiu has very open and honest with me during this first appointment and took a great deal of time to explain the benefits and potential risks of taking such a strong medication. Within weeks my skin had improved, and I continued to meet with her frequently, so she could assess how I was doing.

My experience with Dr. Chiu was so positive that she quickly acquired three new patients; my mother, father, and brother. Over the last few years, my family members have faced some severe health problems. First, my mother has diagnosed with an auto-immune disease and next my twenty-two-year-old brother was told he had a malignant melanoma. Thankfully, during these terrifying periods of time, we were under the care of Dr. Chiu.

Dr. Diane Chiu is without a doubt the most knowledgeable and personable physician I had ever met. My family and I think of her daily and remind ourselves that we are lucky to have her in our lives. There just are not enough words to express what an outstanding individual she is; as a dermatologist and as a human being.

I went to see Dr. Chui a few weeks ago to check out a couple of brown spots on my face and look into getting a peel. I just wanted my skin to glow.

I was nervous, I really hadn't forayed into cosmetic dermatology and wasn't sure what it would mean. Dr. Chiu was AWESOME. She's wicked smart -- which made a huge difference for me. She was able to explain which lasers would do what, and why she would recommend one approach over another. She was also conscious of costs and time -- both critical elements to me. In the end, we decided to go with a combination of a simple bleaching creme to work on the dark, sun-related spots and we upped my daily sunblock from SPF 15 to SPF 30 and we started a trio of monthly peels -- i think they are called "vitalize" peels.

The results were great -- i wanted something that would be impactful to me but not noticeable as a cosmetic change to others -- to the outside i just wanted to look fresh, relaxed and healthy. She was so great that even my mum is seeing her when she visits from California.

A couple of notes on the location -- it's in Northgate, but totally worth it. I combine my visits to Dr. Chiu with a trip to target! And she has free parking right off the freeway, so it was less stressful than i thought -- and much better then trekking downtown or trying to find a spot on first hill. The clinic she works at is very modern and they see to have the right approach to cosmetic dermatology - do what makes you feel beautiful! I loved it. Highly recommended.

Pros: Dr. Chiu is really smart - and can translate technical language into something understandable and meaningful.

Cons: I couldn't get a masssge after my treatment! but i went shopping at the mall...

I started seeing Dr. Chiu a couple years ago for mid-thirties acne treatment. She recommended some laser therapy which dramatically helped my acne. Dr. Chiu is very professional, up-to-date on the latest technologies and products, and is very personable. I recently had a baby and had some skin change concerns during my pregnancy, which I asked her about. I found her to be very knowledgeable and had some good advice. I highly recommend Dr. Chiu!

Dr. Chiu is an unbelievably gifted physician. I am also in the medical field and I saw her after a doctor in my office recommended her. I was nervous as I had a bad experience with Botox previously and she immediately put me at ease. Then she did a phenomenal job. I have had so many people tell me my skin looks great and I have referred many friends to her. Everyone says the same thing; she is extremely easy to talk to, very professional, has impeccable medical judgement, gives them perfect care. I really can't say enough about what a find she has been. She is equally great at taking care of medical skin stuff and at the fun cosmetic stuff. This is the first time I have ever felt impelled to review ANYONE. She's that fabulous. I feel like she is my secret weapon against time.

I saw Dr. Chiu about 6 months prior to my wedding. She was extremely knowledgeable and listened to my concerns. She tailored a treatment plan for me that included laser treatments and chemical peals to help repair my sun-damaged skin and lighten my freckles. Blackheads were gone and my pores shrunk in size. I had some botox around my eyes which helped to make them appear much bigger (I am half-Asian). The transformation over those six months were amazing and I never imagined I would look so good in my wedding photos. She has an amazing bedside manner and always educated me about the procedure and had the utmost concern for my comfort. Her botox injections were painless and left no bruising around the delicate eye area. I highly recommend Dr. Chiu for any future brides-to-be.
