I am a busy mom who doesn??t have much time for doing my hair. Seeing Shera every few months keeps my hair looking great and I only have to spend a few minutes on it in the morning. Before I started seeing Shera I had to spend half an hour spraying and ratting before I could leave the house! On my first visit to Lonestar I didn??t know what I wanted, and since I had known Shera as an acquaintance for awhile I asked her what she thought I should do. She recommended doing a partial foil to give me some depth and adding more layers to my shoulder length crop. I could not believe the difference! I went home so happy, but worried if I could make it look as good on my own. To my surprise (since this is usually not my experience) I found that when using the products she recommended I could make my hair look EXACTLY like she did in the salon -in about ten minutes!!! I can not recommend her enough! Side note: My husband was so happy that Shera had recommended a partial foil that saved us money (my hair isn??t so long that I even need a full one) that HE started going to see her for his haircuts! Now we take our two-year-son to her for his trims and she does an equally awesome job with both my of ??guys.? Three thumbs up from this happy family!

I wish I could have Jessica from the Lone Star Salon do my hair every day! I mean it. It would be so much less for me to deal with. I have naturally curly hair that I straighten most of the time. Before Jessica (and the Lone Star Salon), I would let it air dry in a pony tail... what a mess! Jessica showed me that I could look great with straight or curly hair with a few quick steps each morning. I have noticed such a difference in the texture, elasticity and the shine of my hair, since going to the Lone Star Salon.

I have had the pleasure of getting to know several of the girls at the salon. Lisa, Carissa, Shera and Jessica are all great girls that I would be honored to do my hair.

If you are looking for a full service salon look no further. Go check out the Lone Star Salon in Tumwater!!!

I went to Shera to get my wedding hair done. I had done a trial with Shera and had noted what I liked and did not like about how she did my hair, and told her how I wanted it for my big day. On the day of my wedding Shera completely did not listen to what I had said I wanted -- the up-do she did was horrible. After I was done crying and having a minor panic attack, my friend and I took out what Shera had done and redid my hair. This made me late for my pictures. The worst part of the experience was Sheras complete lack of care for the situation. She did not offer to even redo it after she had messed it up, but instead hurried me out to get to her next client. In addition to myself one of my other bridesmaids had gotten her hair done by Shera as well - she was also very unhappy with how it came out, and did not appreciate Sheras attitude. I should note however that my 5 other bridesmaids (I had six total that went to the salon) who got their hair done by other stylists at the salon were happy with how their hair turned out. Bottom line do not got to Shera unless you want someone to be mildly rude to you and not listen to anything you say.
