Looking for a place to be a regular in and I found Doyle's. The food is wonderful Irish pub fare - the Irish Nachos rock. Love that they always have Smithwick's on tap and carry Seven Seas beers. The prices are standard pub prices. It can get crowded on a Friday or Saturday. I love going during the week for a nice bump in my mood.

Great selection of beers on tap here. The atmosphere is really cozy. There are always interesting people to shoot the breeze with too. One of my favorite local watering holes.

Very crowded on St Patty's day!!! Had a good atmosphere but a sketchy group of people. The drinks were also expensive!!!

Glad I did not believe FreeRange. Looked for the faux beams, but found none. I did however find a fantastic selection of Scotch and Irish Whiskey to partner up with my Fuller's Mr. Harry's. The food was inexpensive, but did not taste it. Ample portions with limited but varied selections. Doyle's appears to have no fryer and that is a good thing. If you are a fan of The Beautiful Game then this should be your new local.

Pros: Footy on the TV and a quality beer selection

Cons: No Children

If there is one thing I can't stand, it's when a bar tries too hard to be something it's not. In this case it's an Irish pub. The designers of this place opened up "The Big Book of Irish Stereotypes & Cliches" and tried to replicate the whole thing. The result is an Irish poser paradise. It's like the trust fund kid in college who tried to become a hippie by putting a Grateful Dead sticker on the back of his Chevy Suburban. For starters, there are fake beams on the ceiling. Fake Beams! The next bit of cheese is the fake plaster being chipped away from the painted on bricks. Makes me sick to my stomach! Made me wonder if they served Lucky Charms for Irish breakfast and had Irish Spring soap in the bathroom. Be yourself Doyle, because what you are trying to be falls way short of the genuine article.

Pros: Great TVs!

Cons: The Faux Irish Dive decor.

Doyle's is a fun little Irish Bar in Stadium District. The atmosphere is great and a lot of fun. If you want a fun time, relax and have a couple drinks, good place to go.
