Reading the other reviews, I think it's obvious that the instructors are great here...and they are. I also wanted to point out the beauty, environment, and equipment that this studio represents as well. There are very high end, as you can

I was going to Pilates Mill Creek for quite some time and loved it cause I saw awesome results, then I got relocated down to Seattle and the studio just wasn't convenient for me so I stopped my membership there and thought I would try a studio closer to work....BIG mistake, the studio in Seattle just wasn't the same. They didn't offer as many classes per week and the type of workout I received just wasn't as great as Pilates Mill Creek.

I'm happy to say that even though the studio is in the opposite direction of my everyday travel, I just joined Pilates Mill Creek again and purchased their 6 month unlimited package. Sooo happy to be back and to be working with my instructors again.

If I can make it work, I think anyone can. I would encourage anyone to take a free class and try this studio out for yourself, I'm sure you'll be pleased!

DO NOT JOIN if you think you might get sick one day and resent the fact you will have to pay for your class because you didn't conveniently get sick within the window of time you have to cancel a class.

DO NOT JOIN if you think you might have a two week vacation one month and you aren't able to squeeze your monthly alotted classes into the two weeks you have available. I should say, if getting charged for two weeks of classes you can't possibly take is ok with you, then you might want to join.

I'm not going to reveiw this based on my assessemnt that Pilates is an expensive waste of time for 95% of us who have budget and time constraints. My review is based on the products and services. I for one would not recommend this place and will not be continuing.

Pros:
There are some VERY good instructors here. Some.

Very clean.

All the pilates equipment is top notch.

There is a lot of class availability, if you plan ahead. You can't just decide to do the 5pm with your favorite instructor at 4pm, or even that week. The good ones fill up.

Cons
Expensive. Even if you sign up for the 3 a week, 3 month contract option, you are paying a lot per session. And you have very little wiggle room if you get sick and can't get all your sessions in.

Inflexible. If you go with the most flexible option, you are paying about what you'd pay for a private lesson anywhere- so why do it? Also, it's up to you to stay on top of your account.

The teacher(s) that are most available aren't that good.

BTW- the other reviews are interesting. I'm always a little suspicous of glowing reviews by people who have only done one review ever. This may be my first on Citysearch, but it isn't glowing. And I do a tone of reviews other places.

Pros: Good Teachers (most), Clean, Good Equipment

Cons: Policies are inflexible

I never did Pilates before so I was a little shy during my first session. I had no idea what to expect the first time but the more often I went afterwards, the more comfortable I became. The staff here always makes me feel really welcome and really shows how much they care about my fitness goals and the constant lower back pain I used to have. I say "used to have" because since I've been doing Pilates, my back pain went away and my core is so much stronger! Thank you to my instructors, you guys have helped me so much!

Pros: Convenient schedule of classes, instructors and staff

Cons: A little pricey but I keep going :)

This studio was recommended to me from one of their members recently. I've heard such great things about Pilates Mill Creek, so I'd thought I'll see what all the buzz was about. I went online and scheduled one of their free Pilates classes and met with my instructor Josh. Josh was great. He gave me a full body workout, really putting extra attention to my abs - after about 45 minutes, my entire body was shaking! (very humbling). It felt like I used muscles that I didn't even know I had!

I signed up for three times per week, felt no pressure to do so and they really made me feel welcome there!

They have online software that's pretty cool too! You can go onto their webscheduler from their website to read their instructor's bios and view their availability.

I like taking classes with Josh, he's a really challenging instructor and pushes me to my limits every workout. I do appreciate all of their instructors different backgrounds but I feel like I get the best workout with him.

Pilates is so great for my body... I miss it.. and I want to start again but NOT at Pilates Mill Creek. The policies by the owner are horrible.. Keep tabs on your account or you may get charged extra without knowing. Make sure you have no conflicts of traveling for vacation or work because you have to commit 3 consecutive months... and let's say something came up and you were in the middle of your 1st or 2nd month making you leave for a couple weeks, well then you can kiss the sessions you paid for goodbye.

Pros: 2 great instructors, nice view

Cons: horrible customer service and policies

The Good: Pilates Mill Creek has some awesome instructors. The classes are challenging and leave your body feeling toned within a few weeks.

The Bad: The classes are pricy and must be purchased in packages and/or recurring monthly installments. Cancellations must be made 12 hours in advance. No exceptions, even if you are sick. Classes fill up quickly, and you frequently need to schedule classes at least 2 weeks in advance to get your desired day/time. The Pilates routines became monotonous and boring after a few weeks. Josh (the owner) is very pushy if you want to downgrade your membership or cancel altogether.

I have mixed feelings about Pilates Mill Creek. I liked the classes, but not enough to justify spending so much? the pricy packages left me feeling ripped off. It makes more sense to join a nice gym that offers a variety of classes like Pilates and yoga. I also found that only a few class times would work with my schedule. I would not recommend Pilates Mill Creek to most people.

Everything is great about this Pilates studio. I would definitely recommend this studio to all my friends and family (and have!) The class sizes are small, only a max of 4 members per instructor and that's using all of the Pilates equipment! They offer a complimentary session as well, so take advantage of that like I did. You won't be disappointed!
