Besides the catchy name, Petapoluza is the one stop shop for your pet. They hae all natural foods and treats, professional grooming stations, and tons of toys for all kinds of pets.
This is one of the few places I ahve found that actually carries stuff for owners that had "American Bulldog" gear. The stock is great, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices are comparable.

I heart Petapoluza!
by realafterglow
Petapoluza is my neighborhood pet store and I don't even live in that neighborhood! I work down the street and love how helpful, friendly and fun Nick and his partner are. My dog, a reserved and stoic Dalmatian, actually gets excited to see Nick and stops at the door of the shop every time I walk by even if I'm not going into the store. They have a great selection and do not over price their products. They will even special order anything you ask and listen to suggestions for items to carry in the store. Oh, and their dogs are really sweet and cute. :-)
Pros: Great location, friendly staff
Cons: Doesn't carry doggie cupcakes and such. :-(

Friendly, Comprehensive Store
by bedmonster
Petapoluza is a one-stop shop for all your pet needs. The store atmosphere is relaxed and the owners, Nick and Amanda, are friendly and very passionate about providing only the best in goods and services. The selection of pet food and treats is extensive, especially for those discerning pet owners desiring organic nutrition for their cats and dogs. There's a wide array of different toys as well, not to mention the on-site, self-serve bathing stations. Plus this store has its own parking lot, which is valuable to know when visiting Fremont!
Pros: Parking, Ambiance, Service

Love it!
by tater1988
Petapoluza is fantastic and has great customer service! I've been there three times now and have received nothing but great advice and service. The owners have been able to answer my questions on the recommendations for food for my dog who recently had her teeth removed, dental products for my other dog and my cat, and proper toys. The store is in an easily accessible location along with easy parking. Finally, I'm impressed that they also care about the environment - their new canvas tote bags are environmentally sound and cost-conscious.
To the Petapoluza owners - Thanks for taking care of the our four-legged family and the environment!
Sincerely,
A happy customer!

Friendly Fun and Gracious
by rockalock
I wanted to stop at Petapoluza many times before I actually did. Located at the west end of 36th, where the traffic picks up toward busy Leary Way, seems like I was always on my way to somewhere else. Do slow down and treat yourself to a visit. You won't be sorry. Just a short detour from the Burke Gillman trail, too, if you are out walking your dog. My dog is a BIG undisciplined puppy, and Nick treated him like his best buddy, lavished him with treats, and didn't bat an eye when the dog did the unmentionable on the merchandise! I was mortified of course, but Nick was so gracious and reassuring. The shop has a surprising variety of high quality food, toys and gooming items. Toys built for punishment. Fabulous absorbent glove/mitts for cleaning off muddy paws. Squeaky toys with deep voices. I know I can go there for something unique.

Best pet store in the area!

Absolutely love it! Must go check this place out for all kinds of cool stuff for your pets. The owners are extremely nice people and their dog is also very nice. Every single time I have been there I got help and attension and I have never had any problems with anybody or anything. This place does not deserve any bad reviews. I will definetely keep going back there for my dog's and two cats' needs.
Pros: Very helpful staff & good quality pet supplies
Cons: None

Super friendly owner

While I don't live in Seattle anymore I wanted to write about my experience at Petapoluza. Right before I left Seattle to move back east I was going around to businesses with self-serve grooming stations to get ideas with the hopes of opening up my own business. When I walked into Petapoluza I met Nick, one of the owners. He was extremely helpful and forthcoming about his experiences as a small business owner. Nick spent almost an hour talking to me between helping customers and gave me some great tips. I was very impressed with what he and his partner had done with their space. If I still lived in Seattle I would definitely patronize Petapoluza simply because of the warm welcome I received and the friendly atmosphere of the shop.

Easy to navigate
by shinypenny
Every time I come here, I'm amazed at their vast selection and how organized everything is- it's a huge pet peeve of mine when shops don't make it easy for me to find what I'm looking for- I mean, c'mon, I want to give you my money, if only, I can actually find what I need! I don't have that problem here.
Plus, really friend staff and I get this impression that they actually care which is refreshing.
Pros: Parking, lots of selection, helpful staff, dog baths
Cons: none so far

Fremont's Best Pet Store!!!!
by melissakly
The first review is ridiculous! I have been to Petapoluza so many times since I got my new puppy both for advice/products and grooming. They have always been so helpful, even when other customers came in the store I never felt like I was being rushed. They even helped me with trimming my puppy's nails for the first time, I was so scared! They are highly educated in the well being of the animals and I would recommend them over any other Seattle pet store I have been to!!!!!!!!
Pros: Customer Service, Cleanliness, Product Awareness
Cons: None so far

I love this place!
by edwynia
I frequent Petapoluza for all my feline needs. I have asked about products I didn't see and they have done everything they can to accommodate. It is owned by a young couple who are thoroughly knowledgeable about pets and the products they sell and they are obviously invested in pleasing their customers. I regret that their adorable pooches are not available to escort me as I shop but I guess it's best for other visiting canines that they remain behind the cash register to supervise more serious matters. They have such a great selection of pet supplies, I almost want to go out and get myself a dog so I can shop there more often. Check it out!
Pros: great hours ~ open late, exceptionally warm and helpful staff, including the four legged ones, generous with samples and plenty of easy parking.
Cons: I'll let you know when I find one.
