Mike was the selling agent for a home in Tacoma we ended up buying. Didn't follow though on anything he said he was going to do...made the whole process a living hell. Avoid at all costs
We purchased a home in May 2014 where Mr. Rankin was the selling agent for a VA Repo. We have had several problems with the purchase of the home.
1) The water was not turned on for our agent when she met our home inspector at the property for our home inspection.
2) There were typos on the initial paperwork which was sent to the VA and we are still in the process of trying to get the deed corrected.
3) We just recently received a water bill which was incurred by the previous owners & was supposed to be taken care of by Mr. Rankin. The water company stated in their letter dated 2-12-15, "The balance owing is the final bill for Ocean Pacific Realty's account which closed 5-23-14. We have exhausted our attempts at collecting money from the past owners." It further stated, "The unpaid balance has been moved to your account."
So, save yourself the headaches we have endured for the past year in dealing with the aftermath of purchasing a home from this realtor!

One of the most unprofessional agents I have encountered in over 24 years. You must hound, cajole, plead,to try and get a response. Good luck...because it will be so vague you will be completely frustrated and livid by the total lack of regard for your efforts in trying to sell one of their properties. BEWARE. Didn't even want to give 1 star but it was mandatory!

Experiencing some delays in Cash for keys process but Mike seems to be working to resolve them well.

EXELLENT service!! Called on a house, the agent (Mike)came all the way to spanaway to meet me, showed me the house.. 30 days later im in my dream home! Very nice staff and smooth transaction from inspection to signing. I was always informed every step of the way. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great deal on a bank owned home along with knowledgeable agents and staff.

Absolutely the worst real estate Broker in Western Washington. The man does not care about anything other than making money. He lies about having properties ready for inspection. He lies about utilities being turned on. He lies about getting work done. He lies about personally getting things done. He was lucky enough to get his name on a list of Brokers that handle REO properties and automatically gets listings from the banks. Horrible service. Consider any property that is NOT listed by his company before you put an offer on one of his listings. BEWARE.
