Brick

The brick is a fun hangout with a group of friends. We love Roslyn in the winter. We've done New Years eve there and had a great casual time with friends.

Step back in time when you walk through the front doors of the Brick Tavern. I stopped here on the way back from climbing a mountain to watch some football, eat some good food and drink some quality beer. Most of the people in there appear to spend a good portion of their lives in that bar. It's comfortable, historic, and an experience you won't forget anytime soon.

Remember the TV program "Northern Exposure"? It was filmed in Roslyn. If you are driving along highway I-90 in Washington pull off and drive about 6 miles to Roslyn. And on the corner in Roslyn you will find the "Brick Tavern". They filmed a lot in this tavern and you will recognize it from the TV program. Friendly people and a great place to get a burger and beer. I highly recommend it. Drive up the valley and enjoy the scenery also.

I think it was built in the 1800's. It still has the only running spittoon. Great food, Live music. It had the reputation in the mining days as being a rowdy bar. Some say it's haunted.
