Holistic Medical Massage

Horrible, Horrible Horrible customer service!! I only wish I could give negative stars! I never even got to the point of making an appt. Spoke with their office manager Dmitry Frumkin when trying to verify they took my insurance. He cut me off, was very rude and spoke very poor english. I sent an e-mail letting them know I was very disastisfied with how he spoke to me over the phone and that I thought he had very poor customer service. Being in the health care field myself, and dealing with patients on a daily basis, I know customer service is key and always treat my patients respectfully. I dont think anyone in the clinic even read the e-mail except for Dmitry.

His initial response to my e-mail:

"I'm not doing scheduling, massage therapist does.

You hang up on me saying that you don't understand my English and will look somebody else with better communication. True?

I'm not doing massage and my English is second language and I was not rude at all.
How many languages you can speak?"

Not much of an apology in my opinion. When I reiterated in a second e-mail that I though it wasnt just the communication issue, but the fact that he gave very poor customer service (i.e. being very short with me, cutting me off etc), his final e-mail to me said

I believe when you call us your goal was to receive good medical massage service and not customer service. Most likely in another clinic you will receive what you are looking for - good customer service.

So that pretty much sums it up, if you want a good massage then this is the place to go, but if you want good customer service (arent they supposed to go hand in hand?) you will probably need to go to another clinic. Which, I am relieved to say i did!

I have been going to see Zhanna Frumkin at this clinic for years. They have moved a few times but she is worth finding again. This lady really knows how to ease pain and make you feel better. Not for the weak, but it hurts to be good..
