3 Stars: New but not that exciting (by Lindsey H.)

The UCSD Sunshine Market just opened in the last couple of months, but is really not all that exciting. The store is not well laid-out, so the lines wrap around aisles and impatient customers get frustrated. The selection is okay, but you'd expect more for the amount of space the Sunshine Market takes up.

4 Stars: Everything under the sun (by Elayna N.)

The Sunshine market is a great option for students on campus. They have everything from drinks to food to fruit to coffee. I like getting drinks here because they have a wide selection of cold beverages. I also like to get the Haribo candies, more specifically the fruity pasta or sour s'ghetti. You can also use the microwave here for frozen goods or soups that you buy. They also have various products like chapstick or blue books. Overall, I like the fact that I can go to the Sunshine market for "grocery" type needs.

4 Stars: Kind of pricey for a college student's budget (by Angel R.)

Though it is relocated and furnishing a fairly sized on campus grocery store, it is still over budget for a college student's wallet. It's convenient if you need something random though. My favorite is the granola fruit and yogurt parfait in the morning.

4 Stars: Great place to get some lunch and other necessary items (by Daniel M.)

It's located in the new expansion of the price center (price center east) and is about 4 times bigger then the old on which was right next to the bookstore. A very wide variety of items ranging from, scantrons to ice cream and salads to frozen dinners. Great place to get that extra scantron you need and a coffee so could stay up during your exam. Don't be fooled by the long lines during lunch time, the longest I've ever had to wait was about 5 minutes and that is with the line wrapping around two aisles.
