The quality of customer care seems to have deteriorated very much since a couple years ago. I had several bad experiences over the course of the last few months. It all has to do with the customer service desk though. I notice that depending on what time of day you go there (or what shift), you will either get a decent experience or a very bad one. I had bought a product recently that was supposed to be a gift for a friend, but at the last minute, I learned that she really wanted something else, so I bought her the other gift instead. I tried to return the unopened product to this same store from which I purchased it only 2 weeks ago and they refused it. They told me to go to another store instead to return it. Huh?? I bought it from this Walmart so why would't this same store allow me to return it. The lady was very rude from the beginning. Now here's the kicker. I decided to test my theory and came back during a different shift and was helped by another employee who DID allow me to return it. So, how does Walmart explain that??? I honestly felt it was due to racial discrimination. This same pattern of refusing to allow me to exchange/refund a product and then being to have it done by a different shift employee continued for the past few months. I complained to the store manager and all I got was a generic phone call explaining their store policies and not even sounding apologetic for making me have to make so many extra trips back and forth to get courteous treatment from a good employee. It should NOT be this hard to return an item that you have a receipt for that was only purchased 1-2 weeks ago. Anyone else have this problem? I'd love to hear from you!

WalMart, of course, has a wide selection of products at cheap prices, but I can't buy everything here that I want, and some products are of a low quality. Still, I like to stop in once in a while and load up on some personal care or household products. The customer service of the employees at this location is pretty typical for most WalMarts.

Update: I stopped in here to return a gift that did not work properly. I had a receipt and requested store credit. The man at the front desk did not give me difficulty at all, so I appreciate that.
