.

A "craftsman" and a helper did some plumbing work which took over 5 hours. I'm no plumber, but it looked wrong to me. I asked some questions, the "craftsman" said it was fine and I shouldn't worry. My mistake was that I signed their paperwork at 10:00pm and paid so they would leave my house. Later I asked a real plumber to look at the work. The new guy said it was against code, and they hadn't even bothered to glue some of the pvc joints that were in my wall. The real plumber replaced all the work and did a number of other jobs around the house in under 4 hours and for $300 less than we paid the "craftsman".

I called the owner of Handyman connection later, he said he would partially reimburse me, then I got a letter from him saying he wasn't going to reimburse me at all for the corrective work. Not surprising, but very frustrating.

Moral of this story, never hire them. They are inept and can't be trusted.
