I wanted to share that I had an amazing experience today in your Gloucester Va store. It started with a phone call where I just asked a question regarding prices for color and cuts for short hair. Lindsey answered the phone and was awesome, she took the time to talk to me and explain several options to me over the phone. She was so polite and made me feel like she really cared. I know the salons get these types of calls all day, and it's easy to say "I can't tell without seeing your hair or all over color starts at..." I'm happy to say that was not the response I got! Lindsey's caring personality and knowledge about color convinced me to go in. When I got there her professionalism was only complemented by her personality. I started my visit with the statement that " I was too old to be young and too young to be old!" Lindsey, placed her hand on my shoulder and said to me "I talk to ladies everyday, that feel that exact same way. It's my job to help you feel better and refreshed". She talked over my options and helped me decide on what to do. She was absoloutely the best! My hair looks great, I feel so much better about myself and I had a great experience! I went with all over highlights and a cute cut that is stacked in the back. Which is super easy to do daily and the maintence isn't going to be as demanding as all over color. She even explained the steps she was doing while styling my hair, so I could do it myself at home! I assure you that this young lady is a Top-Notch stylist! A rare find, especially in a little rural area like Gloucester. I highly recommend her to everyone. If you give her the opportunity she will surpass your expectations!
My grandson was in your business on Friday for a haircut, the girl ask him how he wanted it cut, he very carefully told her and when she turned him around at the completion of the haircut, it was the exact opposite of what he had ask for...the girl was a short blonde who obviously did not listen to his instructions and just decided to cut his hair the way she wanted. You can be sure he and his classmates at Gloucester High and his friends from his church will know about this experience at your business and will be told not to go there for a haircut. There is no excuse for this to happen this way, you have lost this customer and I am sure many, many more.My daughter simply paid her and walked out without saying one word, but was sorely disappointed as was my grandson. He has a performance in DC over the weekend at The Kennedy Center and wanted a good haircut. He simply said she gave me a little boy haircut and I agree. He is not little boy, he is 6ft 3 in. In my opinion this girl needs to be dealt with and be sure that this doesn't happen to another customer or you might think about renaming your business to Worst Cuts....Sincerely,Hazel Thompson
Best Cuts openned several months ago. Many of the beauticians are fairly new at the profession. I found that you can get a decent haircut at Best Cuts. The wait time is usually not too bad and the stylists are attentive to your requests. I find most are especially attentive to the children. I would recommend Best Cuts for a basic hiarcut. I did see a few dye jobs from there that def. looked like a new stylist had done the work.
