Wow! I have been to several different Fresh Market locations in North Carolina, and I am simply stunned to know that the N. Parham location is actually part of the same company. There is such a vast difference in service and food selection. I was very disappointed when I visited that location. They didn't have half of the products I was looking for. I usually go to Whole Foods, but I was in the area and decided to stop by Fresh Market store #70. What a waste of time!!! I guess I am spoiled by the Cary, North Carolina Fresh Market location. The service is exceptional!!! I feel like I am in the ghetto when I visit the N. Parham location. They really need to get with the program!! For cryin out loud we are shoppin at Fresh Market not Food Lion! I am team Whole Foods from now on, no matter how far I gotta travel!!!

Okay, I just wanted a GD cupcake from the bakery section. There were 2 employees behind the case, just standing around talking about their BF and not acknowledging me at all. Then they walk away, still without saying a word to me or the other people standing around waiting for service. Another employee walks up and still does not acknowledge me. After about another 3-4 mins of ignoring me, she finally asks if she can help, I just wanted a vanilla raspberry cream cupcake. She pulls a cupcake from another part of the case that isn't near the cupcakes w/ the sign for the specific cupcake. I ask her if that is the right cupcake, just wanting to make sure I am getting the right thing, she starts freaking out on me. I am trying to ask if that is the cupcake I had asked for and she just starts flipping, I point to the cupcake with the sign and ask if those are supposed to be the cupcakes that I had asked for, she just starts grabbing all kinds of cupcakes. Even chocolate cupcakes, which wasn't anything close to what I had asked for, I mean vanilla isn't chocolate. Finally after a back and forth of her just grabbing random cupcakes, I gave up, this was ridiculous. For someone to be working in a particular area you would think they would be somewhat familiar with the area. I have worked for bakeries before and I always thought that there are the sign in the front for the customers and the signs in the back of the case so you know what you??re grabbing. But still it was amazing how quickly this employee freaked out on me, just for asking if that was the correct cupcake. Buying a cupcake should not be that difficult. This is not the first time the counter service has been bad at this location, but my god was it the most memorable.

Pros: Good beer tho.

Cons: Terrible counter service.
