.

What a great addition I'll Be Dipped was to downtown Clarksville! When they first opened they were just an ice cream shop (hence the name) right in the heart of downtown. It quickly became THE place to go for a quick mid day snack on those hot summer afternoons. Happily, they decided to expand on their limited menu, and began offering soups and sandwiches. It was a wonderful decision, and a happy one for people in Clarksville.

The interior is bright and welcoming, and reflects the lakeside location of Clarksville, a small town located on Buggs Island Lake, a renowned fishing destination. Service has always been pleasant and cheerful.

In addition to the wide selection of ice cream, there is always a daily selection of soups and sandwiches from which to choose. It's not a huge menu, but there is a selection, and most things I have had were good. This has become a real favorite when my grandchildren visit, and a trip to town for ice cream is always a much anticipated adventure. It isn't haute cuisine, but it's good, filling, and a pleasant dining experience.

This is a year later edit. I am sorry to report I'll Be Dipped has closed.
