For the past 3 years I??ve been a loyal Facelogic client. During my 1st 2 years, I was a monthly elite member, spending quite a bit of money each month, but at a reduced rate. I valued their recommendations and purchased countless products and gift certificates as a result.

On Jan 20 (2 days before my bday) I had a facial scheduled w/Master Aesthetician #1 (MA1) who I had been seeing during my entire 3 years. When I arrived and found that she was no longer there, I asked if I could reschedule with Master Aesthetician #2 (MA2) and was reminded by the owner that there would be a $25 fee since I had not rescheduled 24 hours prior. The new person asked me what products I used and I told her the entire Vivite line. When my facial was over, my skin looked great so I followed my normal beauty routine that night. When I woke, my skin was lobster red, puffy and hot to the touch??like a terrible sunburn. I??d had a reaction with the facial and my moisturizer. I called Facelogic and the manager said that I should come in so they could do a calming cucumber mask. I told her that I was headed to DC for my birthday and that I wouldn??t be able to come in. She said she would leave a note for the owner to call me the following week.

I calling on the 23rd and the owner said she would talk to the person who did my facial, but that it wasn??t their responsibility to know what was in their customers?? product lines. I explained that the person who did my facial shouldn??t have asked what products I was using and then not ask what was in them if she wasn??t sure about them. I called at 4:30pm the next day (Jan 24th) and the receptionist told me that the owner told her to take a message from me if I called. I called again on Monday (Jan 30th) and MA2 told me that I should come in on Feb 3rd for a comped calming facial. She was apologetic and felt sorry for the fact that I was so embarrassed on my birthday (I was also trying on wedding dresses that week and my issue ruined the experience AND I had to go out and purchase special makeup to cover the redness). On Thurs afternoon (Feb 2nd) MA2 called and said the owner said that since the reaction was due to my own products, I would not be receiving a complementary facial and that I could come in for them to recommend products for me to purchase. I was told I would receive a call from the owner soon.

By noon on Mon Feb 6th I still hadn??t heard from the owner so I called and to my surprise she was there. I explained the standard of care I was used to--where I was informed after my facials as to the products I should not use. I told her that since I was used to having these types of instructions, the fact that I had TOLD the person who did the facial the product line I was using led me to believe that she knew something about. The owner said that the peel in the facial I received didn??t require that they warn me and that if I had been receiving facials for so long then I should have known not to certain products. I stated that I always received the warnings and she reiterated that I should have known better for that exact reason and that due to the condition of my skin (I am still peeling and it is 3 weeks later) she wouldn??t recommend a facial now anyway. I asked if I could come in for one next month, and she said ??like I told you? I had MA2 tell you to come and we would recommend products for you to buy. I stated many times how wonderful the service I had received in the past was and how I had recommended 6 people to them off the top of my head. After she firmly stated that she would not be comping me a facial, I told her that I had started a formal complaint with corporate and that I would be letting my friends know about this entire incident. I also let her know that I had sought legal counsel to ensure that I would be within my right to post blogs, send email, etc. The owner began to warn me about slander, however since I had already discussed my intended actions with my lawyer, I was able to cut that part of the conversation short. I told her that I was disappointed in the way that she was treating a loyal customer who over the years had dropped thousands of $ on services, gift certificates for others and various products. I expressed my disappointment in the fact that she couldn??t be bothered calling me back??to which she reiterated stated she had MA2 call me??and I said, ??but you really should have been the one to call? and she reiterated the fact that she had MA2 call me. I reminded her of the business I had brought in based upon my glowing reviews and that I would no longer be doing business with them.

Based upon this experience, I hope this helps to make an informed decision as to whether to give Facelogic of Fredericksburg your hard earned money. In my opinion, my loyalty over the years meant nothing to them. In this economy, I cannot believe this experience/treatment. (Please note, Facelogic Spas are indecently owned and operated.)

did not like it at all. My facial was done by the master facialist, who actually trains other facialist. when i made the app,i made the app for elite facial.when i went it the facialist told me she has time only to do signature facial. even that she only did it for 35 min,it was suppose to be for 50min. but they charged me for the full facial. so i would advise to watch the time . also the facialist rushed through it.i would never ever recommend the master facialist

This was a wonderful treat to myself. Yes, anything like this is a little high but I'm worth it. If you are worth it, give it a shot. My face felt wonderful and the whole experience is relaxing from the moment you walk in. I didn't want to leave! Can't wait til next month to get another one!

My friend and I went here for their introductory facial. It was $49 and one of the best I have had. The service was just right...friendly, suggesting products, but not pushing products and services. The facial was excellent and my skin felt so good. I will definitely go back. They just do skin care, so it is a small space, but still stylish and spa like. The girl who worked with me was outstanding. Can't wait to go back!
