.

Fairfax Jiu-Jitsu is the best place to train in Northen Virginia.
They've got an amazing facility with 10,000 square feet of space, including two very large seperate class rooms and a strength and conditioning area and locker rooms. They offer classes 7 days a week in Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ), Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Muay Thai boxing and Capoeira.
They have three (3) amazing BJJ blackbelts, including David Jacobs and Abmar Barbosa, who are elite competitors in the BJJ world, with numerous medals each.
The MMA classes are outstanding. Bill Easlick has created a great program and class structure which is able to have top level athletes training side by side with recreational students. The team has produced amazing fighters including several undefeated fighters and the welterweight champion of Operation Octagon, the largest MMA event in the Washington DC area.
The Muay Thai program is incredible. Matt Nielsen travels to Thailand twice a year and trains at the top gyms there to stay current and sharp with his classes, which are ran exactly as training in Thailand. They're also one of the only teams around to develop Class A level fighters who are among the best amateurs in the country.
The Capoeira program is excellent. Yara Cordiero is one of the most experienced and sought after teachers in the area and has created a wonderful environment to learn this art, including kids classes.
It seems to good to be true that one location could have such incredible programs, but Fairfax Jiu-Jitsu has done it. The hardest part about being a studnet here now, is deciding which class to take each day!
