When we first arrived in the restaurant on a Friday evening, we were the only customers there. I wondered if the empty space meant that the restaurant wasn't good. Well, the restaurant ended up being OK, but just OK.
The waiters served us promptly but could have been a little more professional with things such as eye contact and knowledge of ingredients. My peanut soup tasted pretty good--a unique cup of soup for sure that I considered to be moderately peanut-y. My meatloaf was just OK, and I didn't finish eating it. My guest's prime rib was very fatty.
The decor could be improved also. The lights were very dim, the ceiling was made of wooden lattice, and the bathroom was old and a little dirty.
