.

These apartments are very nice inside and out but management is out to get u. They totally over charge for water , and watch out when u move out bec u will prob not get ur deposite and end up owing them money even after u cleaned and left the apt in great conditon.

I def do not reccomend

Cobblestone apartment staff will do and say anything to sign with them, however, everything changes once you do. Their demeanor is snooby and rude.
This place is the last place I would choose to live in if I had the option to decide all over again. During the summer people stay out by the pool till 3 a.m and don't leave till someone calls the cops. The lawn is always littered with dog poop. We left our trash outside our door once and instead of giving us a heads up that it was a violation, they fined us a $50 fee and told us it was in the contract. Thanks alot, that's a great way to treat your fellow residences. They would rather climb three floors and throw the trash bag for us so they can charge us for it. As for rent payment, make sure you pay ON TIME EVERY TIME. Doesn't matter if you forget one time or you had an emergency, and you weren't home, they will charge you about $75 for the first day you are late. I even got my laundry stolen at the laundry facility. About 15 pairs of jeans got stolen the 5 mins I left my laundry down at the laundry room. That's was at least $800 worth of jeans. And the laundry room was one of the PERKS the staff mentioned when we signed the lease. The only thing the staff said when the event happened was "you can rent a W/D from us for $45 if you want to." HA! Thanks alot! Above all else is the water bill (trash, water, gas). It was about $35 for the first year I lived here. Then the bill came in February and it was $76. Then the next month it was $87. That is the most ridiculous amount I have ever heard of for using water. I better have my own personal pool to pay that much. Their excuse was two people were living at our unit. So if you are a couple or have children, better rethink about signing on with this apartment if you don't want a nice surprise at the end of the month. I would have moved out when my lease was up the first year but I was 8 months pregnant then and there was no way I was up for a move so I resigned and stayed another 6 months.
Finally, I thought I would be done with saying horrible things about this apt complex when I moved out , but I was wrong. It took them two months to refund me my security deposit of $385 when I was given a letter May 15th that I would receive my deposit no later than 30 days. Ha! That was a joke!!! A week after the month was up I called the apts. The first two times I called, no one answered the phone. Big surprise there! The third time I called the leasing agent told me I would be contacted by the asst manager for further information. That call came one week later and was she full of excuse. ' Oh, I don't know what's going on. I'm having a hard time getting a hold of regional' Blah blah blah... I called again a week later and spoke with the manager who said that regional claimed they never got a deposit request from the leasing office. Oh really!! How convenient and why can't you send out a check NOW??? I requested the regional office's number and was denied. I guess due to calls from other tenants that wanted their deposits back as well. I was asked to call back at a later date. I finally made a last attempt and had to verbally threaten a lawsuit before I got my deposit back a week later. It took almost two months of persisting calls and sorry excuses before I got my money back (July 21st). Too bad I couldn't give an excuse when I had to pay rent on time every time every month! Thanks Cobblestone for your superb service to the Arlington community!! GOOD LUCK!!!
