Believe it or not, we went here for Easter Lunch and had a very good time. The food was very good and the prices were just right. Service was exceptional and it wasn't too noisy. There were many families there on Easter and it was nice. There was no waiting in line either. I recommend to everyone.

We visit the Black Eyed Pea at times and have always enjoyed eating there. The wait staff are always pleasant and mild mannered, the food is always delicious and well served, and the prices are slightly below average which makes it an even bigger attraction. We have been here several times and absolutely enjoy ourselves. It is decorated very nicely as well.

I love the Black Eyed Pea. They have great service and great prices. Located near the Albertson's in south Denton they are just good! I really like the Mama's Meatloaf. Melts in your mouth. Me and friends go there at least once a month for the last year and have never had any problems at all. This is your place to go. Very quiet atmosphere. You can actually hear each other talk!

There is some good eating to be done here. This is a nice quiet place to come if your not in a hurry and just want to relax. Everything is pretty quiet here. The prices are about right and the quality of food is good. Great for the entire family.

If you don't like the big corporate owned restaurants, then the Black Eyed Pea is a nice alternative. Although a big corporate owned business in itself, it does not function like that. Very quiet, yet busy atmosphere with respectful wait staff that does not bug the living daylights out of you. Food is well above average, but not awesome. In other words, it's better than staying home for supper. Easy access in and out of parking area. We go here about once a month and never have any problems.
