Not a good group of ladies! Very rude and unprofessional. Just a little crew of related gals that act like they don't need a customer. I purchased some items and among them a rug that wouldn't lay flat. It was crinkled and really poorly

Rustic Furniture Depot would like to respond to the complaint of Josh D by addressing his complaint publicly just as we did privately with him.
On his complaint about the help - here is our policy. We do not bird dog you when you come to shop at Rustic Furniture Depot. We do our best to greet you as soon as we can after you enter the door and tell you that when you are ready for any help we will be glad to help you but that we invite you to shop at your leisure. The vast majority of our customers appreciate this approach.
Generally , it is 3-4 days notice to schedule a delivery; however, if it must be only a Saturday delivery, or it must be at a particular time on a particular day of the week or a specific day near a holiday we would recommend allowing more time.
Josh ordered some in stock items as well as some special order items. All special order items take 2 1/2 - 3 weeks to come in. Our sales staff has had no turnover in over 5 years) and we say these words over and over. Our sales have been up an average of 15-20% for the last 10 years, so there is no reason to cause ourselves problems by not telling the customer this information. Because Josh was moving in we told him we would deliver the in stock items first and then make arrangements for a second delivery of the special order items when they came in. Why he feels the need to represent it wrongly is probably because we refused him to give him a a huge refund for our drivers being late due to traffic problems. You will notice that he never said that his furniture was still defective - because we replaced the defective piece .

I have had horrible service from Rustic Furniture Depot. I hate to leave a bad review about something, but I just had to with them. I went into the store so I could furnish my entire house. I never had anybody come offer any help. I had to go up to them to finally make my purchase. While I was explaining what I wanted I had the dullest person help. When you are spending thousands of dollars in a store you really do expect better service.
When time came for delivery they told me to give them 3-4 days notice and they would be able to deliver all my stuff. I gave called 8 days before I needed my furniture and they couldn't deliver till the day after I wanted it. I accepted that but then came the day before the delivery and I never received a confirmation so I called them and they had the delivery date set 2 months away. They fixed it but only delivered half of my items. Some of the items they delivered were defective and 2 hours after the 3 hour window they gave me.
I had to call them of course to find out when they could get me the rest of the furniture and it wasn't for another 9 days! They didn't offer anything except apologies but really no fixes. Then on that delivery date they showed up an hour past the 3 hour window they gave me.
I read the last review about this place and they do have a decent selection but now there are multiple stores in the DFW area that have this style of furniture. I am just giving you my horror story with them. If you decide to shop there I hope you have a better experience.

This place has the best prices for rustic furniture. We bought a coffee table and 2 end tables and some odds and ends for the house. They are very unique looking tables and got them at a great price.
