So I wanted to find out how much my device was going to cost my out of pocket. The staff member who called me to schedule my appt could not tell me and told me the insurance person would not check until the day before my appt. and advised me to call my insurance company.

Well I called my insurance company and they were more than happy to help but they needed to know the diagnostic code to get a more accurate amount. So I call Heart Place back, they told me I needed to call corporate billing becasue they did not have the code. I called corporate the woman would barley let me even ask the question, as soon as I began to speak so would speak over me. It was incredibly frustrating. Talk about stressing out a heart patient!

My point is, in order to order my device Heart Place was given a diagnostic code so they do have it but I never was able to get it. My insurance company gave me the best estimate they could which varies by a few hundred $$. Ugh my appt is next week and I'm not looking forward to it! I hope the staff is nicer than what they project over the phone when someone asks for help!

My husband was gravely ill this time last year and I truly believe after years of heart problems and seeing other doctors that we found the best place on earth.Dr. Kuiper and his staff were so encouraging and positive about a very serious situation. They told us exactly what to expect and what they were doing..Today my husband is better than he was 20 years ago and it is all because of the Heart Place.
