The wedding was beautiful in spite of Kindred Oaks!!! Anyone who wants their guest to have a good time and party should go elsewhere. I was the planner because she opted not to pay a $1K for this service from Kindred Oaks. Based on reviews of Donna I am glad I was able to do this for them.

THE PLACE SMELLED LIKE SEWEAGE. I brought candles after this discovery the day before the wedding. Every time I turned around a Kindred Oaks person had blown them out. It STUNK terribly! And this is where the cake was cut and the Bridal Party did their entrance from. Nasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called Elaine with issues the day of (I was onsite) and she never returned my calls or showed up. She was smiling but rude and disrespectful. She reminded me of the tourist town where they want your money but don??t really want you to be there and can barely tolerate it.

The Bartender??s left cold beer and beverages get warm which we iced down. Then they then complained because Elaine's employees thru out the packaging and accused us. We were told that shots were illegal according to the TABC liquor laws. This is BS, I am TABC certified and this was an out and out lie. None of this was up front info. A case of Patron was not allowed to be served. The Margarita Machine was watered down. We had 220 guests and only 3 bottles of Tequila were used for the Margaritas. We were told that Alcohol before the ceremony severed by anyone other than the BT was not allowed. Then the Bride was told if the Groomsmen wanted to have a drink by the bar before the ceremony it would be all right. NOT SO. Amy the Bartender and Elaine were militant soldiers and fun Natzi.

ONE DRINK PER PERSON at the bar was the rule. Not for warned and a husband could not get a drink for his wife. She had to be present. Amy was quite rude and said it was because of liability. Yet she severed several people that were drunk upon arrival of the wedding throughout the night.

The flowers by Zu Zu were a TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT to the bride. She ordered floating Dahlias and Terri said they were too small. The Bridal table DID NOT have the flowers requested and 10 of the 20 other tables did not have them either. FLOWERS WERE SUBSTITUTED from what was left over and not what was paid for. NO CREDIT WAS ISSUED. This was a TOTAL RIP OFF. She used extra left over??s to complete the center pieces and were not even close to what the bride paid for. If she had half a bit of common sense she would have at least put the type of flowers paid for on the Bridal Party table. During pictures prior to the ceremony we required the girl??s bouquets. I requested them in plenty of time and my request was ignored. The second time I asked she went to get them but delayed our schedule and made things more rushed. BOOOH for Zu Zu! Go somewhere else and get what you want and pay for!

I tried to decorate the Bridal Sweet with champagne, fruit, ham, crackers, cheese and candles. Elaine's employee removed the candles I placed, and Elaine watched over me as if I was a thief while I set up the plate and champagne! What an insult when I spent so many hours working as a wedding planner and trying to make it all perfect for them!!!!!!! Elaine treated me with disrespect, and was inconsiderate. With her smug smile that was less than friendly.

The Wedding was beautiful because Nicci and Jeff were beautiful!!! Kindred Oaks Staff was unprofessional, rude, and unresponsive and I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE EVER USE THEM!!!!
