For the Record PEI WEI has been absolutely by far my favorite place to eat for the money! Central Market Cafe Southlake is the only close runner. i have eaten at the Southlake Pei Wei a few times prior, but want to mention that the service and food are exceptional at this location. Manager Kevin Breese will make sure all of your needs are met. I had my current favorite dish of Chicken Thai Dynamite and the New $2 Appetizers of Pot Stickers. search for my video reviews on YouTube under Christian Painters.

We love eating at Pei Wei as the food has always been excellent. It may not be authentic, but it is wonderful for my taste buds!! The service has always been excellent too! It can be loud in the restaurant, but that has never really bothered me.
5I'm a Chinese-American from New York City, so I know good, authentic Chinese food. For an Asian diner, I did not see one Asian cook! Big no no. After living in Dallas for almost 4 years now, I've come to expect this so I wasn't shocked. I realized a long time ago that I can't expect amazing Chinese food here. We ordered the lo mein, the crab/cream cheese fried things and the Dan Dan noodles. I mean, the food is edible, but it's no where close to authentic. The lo mein weren't real lo mein noodles. They more resembled thin spaghetti or angel hair. The Dan Dan noodles were good but I wasn't too impressed, but what can you expect for $6.50. For those who don't know better, I'm sure they think the food is fabulous but for those who are in the know, it's not quite there.

Pros: Fast service, good prices, good sized portions
Cons: Not authentic Chinese food
