Cedar Park Overhead Doors guarantees that you will be satisfied with garage door service we provide. Fast Garage doors and opener service. We can Fix it today.
Overview and Expertise provided by
I had a car stuck in a garage with a door that wouldn't open because of a broken spring. These guys came out the same day and fixed the door in no time flat. As a side note; my door is now almost silent when it opens and closes. That alone was worth the price.

My garage door broke at 11 p.m. and after I placed a request online I got a phone call from Cedar Park Overhead Doors the next morning at 7:10. The service was excellent, all the pros very knowledgeable and friendly, but the price was a little too high. But, on the other side, I got a lifetime warranty on all the parts. Overall, they did a great job!

It was a hard choice between AMS and Cedar Park . I wanted to use AMS and my wife wanted Cedar Park. She won.

The good: the new door works great and is much quieter. The install was done conveniently while I was at work. The job site was left cleaner than they found it. Rick at the cpohd office was friendly and accommodating. Pricing seemed reasonable in comparison to big box stores and another small g-door company.
the bad: sales guy had wrong dxns, was 45 mins late (though very friendly and helpful). The opener was supposed to be moved, if possible, and they were supposed to call when on site. No one called to tell me the job was underway/done/etc., which is kind of tough when you can't be home to oversee.
bottom line: friendly, door works great.

Everything went very smoothly in spite of the fact that since my husband uses the garage for a workshop, the technician had a limited amount of space to work in.

I scheduled Cedar Park Overhead Doors because of you Yelper mavens, and I'm glad that I did. The house that I just bought has a two car garage, and only one of them had been set up with an automatic garage door opener. It seemed to be a piece of cr-p product *cough* GENIE *cough*, and the installation done had it lifting one side before the other which my home inspector was concerned about. Rather than sinking money into this junk, I bought the highest rated garage door openers (Chamberlain Whisperdrives) @ $200 a piece at Amazon and had Cedar Park Overhead Doors install them @ $150 a piece. The handyman that came out, Jeff, is *so far* my favorite of all the people I've had to call. He was personable, intelligent, quick, reasonable, and benevolent at installation -- even giving me a rail piece that should have been a Home Depot run for free because he had it on him. I should also note that, like Jim C. on Yelp, I was concerned about having to take time off of work because I work south and live north. Cedar Park Overhead Doors was great and came out on a Saturday. Thanks again, Jeff!
On a side note, I wish that I had noticed Dana's review on Yelp about a Value Pak discount. Oh well...
Pros: Punctual, came out on the weekend, intelligent, thorough
Cons: I didn't do my research to get a Value Pak coupon beforehand

We called to get our garage door spring repaired and they sent someone out that same morning. The technician was friendly and got the job done quickly and efficiently. The only drawback was that he had called to say he would come within 10 minutes of a certain time, and then didn't show up until over an hour later. He only called to say he was delayed after I called the dispatcher to complain and find out what was going on. Hopefully that was a one-time issue. Other than that, we would recommend them and use them again.

Wow! I got treated like my job request was a high priced technical big time request. I called Friday at noon and wanted to get a wireless keypad installed for my overhead door. Rick got my request, the information he needed and asked me if I would be home the same afternoon. I opted for the next morning. He said the tech person would call me before getting there. Kyle called me at 10:00, was at the home with a smile on his face within 20 minutes. Confirmed what I requsted, explained what we needed to do and was done in 20 minutes. Very pleasant experience. Really apprecipate the promptness. To some this may seem like a tiny job but it was very important to me since I had no idea what to do. Thanks for making me feel just as important as if I had request an entire door replacment. I got a Overhead Door company I can depend on and will call in the future because we know that door and/or parts will not last forever. Thanks Rick and Kyle.

To get 5 stars, a business must have the best price and the best service. While this company is very kind and has good service, they go a little overboard with their pricing. First off, they charge a $10.00 "fuel charge" in addition to their overpriced $69.00 service charge. In addition, they didnt even tell me about the $10.00 fuel charge until they got here. The fuel charge should be included in the price. I live in Leander which is only a dew miles from Cedar Park, there should be no fuel charge at all. Finally, the only thing they seemed concerned about fixing are the "safety eyes". That is all they talk about. I would find another business that won't poke a hole in your pocket book.
Pros: Very kind
Cons: Very expensive

After waiting a week for the first repair service to call me back, I looked on austincitysearch and found this Cedar Park Overhead door company with 3 good reviews. Being new to Austin, I was nervous that I would get someone who would rip me off. I sent an e-mail before leaving for work on Thursday and had a message on my phone that same morning from them. I couldn't get back to them until the next day, and they not only said they service SW Austin, but had me scheduled for the next day, Saturday. Like clockwork, the repairman, Les, rang my doorbell...he was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of garage door parts and workings...made some recommendations with no pressure at all. I decided to replace the rollers on my door, but he told me I could wait on replacing the motor until it konked out some day. The previous owner had a guy replace a spring, but it was smaller than the other spring, but Les was able to adjust it so the right tension would operate the door without me having to buy a new spring! He also got my keypad coded AND my car button coded to operate the gargae door. He was very patient, HONEST, and so pleasant. A genuinely great person and company to deal with. I can't recommend him enough.
Pros: Honest; fast reply;Sat. service
Cons: None

My garage door completely broke today and I thought to myself, "Oh great, now I have to wait another long week til Home Depot/Lowe's finds a contractor to come out to the house to install a garage door for a ridiculous price!!" But a friend recommended I use Austin City Search. I noticed and read the great reviews about Cedar Park Overhead Doors and called them first. I spoke to Rick who was extremely courteous and polite on the phone. Rick said he would call a technician to come to my house today. "TODAY?!" I asked. Sure enough, Rusty arrives within 10-15 minutes! Rusty took the time to explain the problem and offerred his recommendations. Within 20 more minutes, the garage door was working properly. The price was extremely reasonable. The Customer Service however was extremely OUTSTANDING. If you need immediate, professional and courteous service for Garage Doors, I HIGHLY recommend Cedar Park Overhead Doors. Thank You Guys, for understanding what Customer Service is all about. Thumbs Up to ya.
Pros: Fast Service, Courteous, Extremely Reliable, 5yr Warranty, Reasonable Price

I can't say enough good things about Cedar Park Overhead Doors!! I called after 7pm on a Tuesday night when my car got trapped in the garage after a spring broke!! I had to leave for work at 7am in the morning, & I'd never dealt with a broken garage door before, so I didn't know what to do. We'd just bought this house a month ago & it was our 1st home, so this was unexpected & frustrating, to say the least. I tried calling the company who's name was on the garage door, but they wouldn't give me prices over the phone except to say, "It could be anywhere from $260 - $500, & you'll have to pay $50 for us to even come out & look at it tonight." Then, when the next company started at a price of $315, but went down to $250 when I said I was going to get some other quotes, I was left wondering if I was buying a used car or just trying to get my garage door fixed!! Needless to say, at this point, I was getting pretty distraught, so I can't tell you how relieved I was when I spoke with the dispatcher at Cedar Park Overhead Door. He was friendly, asked about my situation, empathized with me, then started to take care of it immediately. They gave me 1 great price up front, instead of the "used car salesman" approach and NOT ONLY did CPOD beat everyone else's prices, but they didn't charge a huge fee to come out at night!! On top of that, they guaranteed their work for the LIFETIME of the springs!! Everyone was so friendly & professional - all the way from the dispatcher to the technician that came to the house. (I was lucky enough to have the technician actually be the V.P. of Operations of the Company, Don, & he couldn't have been more professional or more courteous. I didn't even realize he was the head of the Company until I saw it on their website after he left.) Cedar Park Overhead Doors went way above & beyond my expectations & will definitely have my business at this house and any house I buy after this one!!
Pros: professional, honest, arrived quickly, courteous
Cons: NONE

I've used Cedar Park Overhead Doors as my garage door service company at two homes over the past four years. They've repaired existing garage doors and they were my choice to install an opener at my new home.
They have always been courteous, professional and prompt. On more than one occasion, I have had to call on them for emergency repairs (to work that was done by others, not them) and they were there before the day was out. They have definitely gone out of their way to be helpful.
