I found a fingertip of a latex glove in my pasta. I had it curbside and was already home so I didn't bother going back to tell them. I nearly hurled. I will never go here again.

I have been to Italy many times and I can tell you that this place really does it for me. I have tried almost all of the entres and desserts and I am in awe.

I am a regular at this place...probably two or more times a week. Many times, I have been present after closing hours and have witnessed the employees literally going over every inch of the place in order to clean it for the following day.

I just experienced the Italian cake yesterday and I thought I was in Heaven. The same is true of the cheesecake and fruit tarts.

The fish is devine and the sauces that accompany the various dishes are a scrumptious delight. I could not say more.

They have a salad station where a woman creates your salad for you from an assortment of greens and other accompaniments. From capers to olives the sky is the limit. And all of the dressings are made daily. This place is "the deal".

I am so glad to see a success in this new plaza in Town and
Country.

Give it a shot and tell me what you think !!

Your gonna love it !! Bon Apetite

I usually never give anything a 5 star rating, but with Pronto Cucinino I could not find much wrong with them! The restaurant gives the feel of an Italian La Madeleine. You order at the register and they bring your food to the table you are sitting at. The chicken Alfredo is delicious, fresh, and has a perfect Alfredo sauce. The pizza was a bit crispy for my tastes, but my son had that so I just had a bite of his (pizza is not my thing to begin with, so that's that). The Cesar salad was excellent; even with the capers in it, it tasted good. The cokes from the fountain are perfect (a lot of places' cokes seem too syrupy or too carbonated). The garlic mashed potatoes are a must, and the cheese cake is good. We split our meal, and their portions are not large. We ended up spending about $20.00 for two adults and a child.

The chocolate cake is good, but the coffee in it should be omitted; as it leaves a weird aftertaste. Overall I was very pleased with this place and plan on many more returns!

est salads, great tasting Italian, and just the right proportions! Although we live in Pasadena, we spend as much time in Houston as we can as we love the city. We were so happy to locate such a neat place to eat a good meal.

I have been to many restaurants inside the Loop, but there are not many as good as this one. The prices are low and the quality of the food excellent. The signature Roasted chicken is as good as it gets and the mashed potatoes with garlic taste as good as any homemade recipe I've ever tasted. The salads are original and fresh and can be served as a starter or as an entree. I always add either the grilled salmon or shrimp! The pasta isn't out of a box and the Italian sausage tastes hand-made. Eggplant parmigan is my favorite. The casual service (order at the counter) should not be confused with fast-food. This concept is awesome and the decor and ambiance is upbeat. This is a must if you're in the Montrose area!!

1 out of 15 times have I had a bad experience here. On that occasion, I ordered the steak, when it came out ( not so pronto), I was amazed to taste such poor quality at such a reputable restaurant. I asked fro another one and the waiter questionlessly obliged. I was happy to see that another one came out (this time more pronto) and when I tasted it, it was great.
I would and have recommended this restaurant to any lover of inexpensive yet real and somewhat traditional food. If you want more traditional food, try one of Pronto's sister restaurants, Vincents.

Pronto has some of the best Italian fair in Houston. Quick service, relaxing environment, and the patio is nice during those few weeks in the Spring and Fall when its bearable to dine alfresco. We've always had great service and helpful staff. The specials are always a nice experiment too.

I've found the portions are the perfect size. Yes, they are served on a big plate, but we always leave with take-home containers. When you consider they should be the size of an average closed fist, the portions are right on.

I really enjoy Pronto. The food is delicious and served up quickly. The location is good as well. The only downside to Pronto is the portion size. If you have a big appetite you will most likely leave here hungry. I still recommend it though.

This is about the most creative, delicious salad I've ever had anywhere. Never ate anything bad there at all. Pizza by the slice is great.
Ladies, bring a shawl or a sweater, the air conditioning is on high all the time.
Easy to get to, adequate parking, adequate seating -- outside if you want to.

While this place does not exactly live up to its claim that it is as good as it's parent places, Ninos and Vincents, for the price and type of restauarant it is, it is really good! I love the curbside pickup, they always come out promptly and the food is always hot and fresh. The lasagna is excellent. I am glad this place moved into my neighborhood.

I love this place. The food is yummy, the service is great, and best of all -- you can pick your dinner up curbside and take it home to eat. The rolls are awesome, and I highly recommend the lemon chicken. Yummmmmmmmmm!!

My boyfriend and I went here 3 or 4 times for lunch and were reasonably impressed with the food. Their entrees are perfectly portioned and often yummy. They serve very simple Italian meals made with quality ingredients. However, the first time we ordered dinner from there, about an hour before closing, we were beyond disappointed with our food. The calamari, which I had ordered previously to find tender and crispy, was soggy with oil and rubbery. My boyfriend ordered chicken alfredo with exta scallions and got not one green onion on the whole entree. The pizza squares had soggy crusts and weren't baked through on the top and too much oil for a Margherita, when usually it's fantastic. I also ordered a chopped salad with a different dressing and got no dressing at all. Overall, this place has good Italian food. Even the bad meal that we got from them used great ingredients, they just failed at the execution. They don't have consistency, which is very important in their industy.

I like Pronto b/c it's so quick, but the food is still high quality. My one complaint is that the busser tried to take my plate away while I had my fork in hand, picking up a bite of food off of it. That was annoying! Overall I usually really enjoy the experience at Pronto.

Pronto is a GREAT option for good food fast. I love that you can get great Italian food even if you're in a hurry. I enjoyed the casual atmosphere and the service was fabulous. (The patio is wonderful - love the fountain!) I thought the food was wonderful and the portions were the perfect size (not huge like normal restaurants!). The fettucine alfredo is to die for. I will continue to come to Pronto again and again! I've taken several friends there and everyone has enjoyed it!!

I really like the food...A LOT! I've never had anything bad there. The portions aren't huge but for the price, I wouldn't expect huge servings.
If you like Cafe Express or Taco Milagro, you'll probably like this too. The prices and serving sizes are very similar.

Food is tasty--no doubt about it. I order the house specialty and portions were tiny: chicken was more the size of a cornish hen, 3 tablespoons of mashed potatoes, and only 5 green beans--yes, it was very easy to count them. The plate was huge! But the food slipped around on the plate before I got back to my table because there was really only a half of a plate of food! When I asked for the manager, they refused to get them and only smiled when I commented on the amount of food for the money. Cashiers had no customer service skills and no eye contact with me or any of the other patrons. Nothing special.

When we walked in I was surprised to find that we had to stand in line to place our order and we filled our own drinks at the fountain too. The place is actually cute inside and out, and the view of the kitchen was nice too, but the food was awful. It came out on plastic plates and if I hadn't been able to see the kitchen from where I was sitting I would have sworn they were back there heating up tv dinners and serving them to their guests. The alfredo sauce tasted like it came from a "just add water" powder mix.

I was excited to have a casual Italian restaurant in the neighborhood open on Sundays. especially it since it's a Mandola restaurant. Long story short, the calamari was rubbery and bland. The pork chop I ordered was so thin you could almost see thru it an the side of fettucine was small, bland, and cold. The plastic plate the food was served on did not help. My date's entre of chicken fettucine was cold before he finished. The restaurant was extremely noisy;I waited for a mother to ask her children to get down from walking on the seats next to her table in order to get my seat. I must admit, the caprese salad was good, but that was about it. The tab for two at lunch was $45.00 (included 2 glasses of wine) I spoke to the Manager on duty, he said he would pass my comments on.
