I have my kids go to him back in 2003 and again in 2009. Both times we were using Social Services (Medicaid or Chip) and there are few decent (IMO) doctors & dentists on Medicaid's lists.
James is refreshing in that he CARES about the kids. I am sad that he should probably be making more money. He is talented and I KNOW that Medicaid doesn't pay well. (Again, he is most likely doing it as a form of service to the needy.)
He allows parents to go back with their kids; he is kind, his work is good and he is FAST!
He was kind to my children and even helped us with a second opinion. The extensive work another dentist wanted to do was unnecessary!
We will stay with him when we get back on regular medical insurance.

I took my young son to get a crown recently the dentist was very impatient with him because he was crying threatened my son to give him more shots, yanked his head abruptly, keep raising his voice at him. I came very close to walking out of there with my sons work unfinished The staff is great but Dr. Simmons needs to work on his patience towards kids it ironic being that he is a PEDIATRIC dentist for him to be so impatient. I will never go there ever again. You get what you paid for.
