I searched for a good, caring doctor for several years when I moved to the Dallas area. When a friend recommended Dr Swaldi, I had nothing else to lose. I had had some bad experiences. Now, I would claim no other family doctor than Dr Swaldi. He is caring. He remembers your name (this in itself is unusual). He returns phone calls (another unusual trait). I trust his diagnosis. When I have needed a specialist, he would reccommend one (who also was good). His staff is wonderful so he must believe in surrounding himself with good people. I have referred several people to Dr Swaldi. Everyone has been very impressed with him. He will be my family doctor as long as he is in practice.

Pros: Caring, compassionate doctor

Cons: I can't think of one

.

Dr. Swaldi has a small, unassuming practice, but comes with decent credentials. He doesn't rush, letting you explain your issues and explaining his recommendations thoroughly, including medications and what to expect. Just be careful not to be palmed off to the nurse practitioner. My experience was to be charged for an extended visit as when I see the doctor when I only went in for a 15 minute pressure check with the nurse practitioner. When I asked about it he said, "I am convinced from your message that we are not likely to be able to meet your needs as a health care provider. I suggest you shop around for a better deal."

Pros: Caring Doctor and Staff

Cons: Too Sensitive if you ask about the billing
