Domenick's is under new ownership but still has the same name! It is not run by Domenick and his family anymore! Its just not the same. We learned thisand went elsewhere.

Just went to this italian restaurant today! I got the garden salad with the house italian dressing. The vegetables were cut to order. They were all at the peak of freshness. We also got a custom calzone and it was the best calzone we have found in locally. They use the highest quality meats and cheeses at this place. This was also the best peperoni we have ever had. We can't wait to go back and try the Manicotti and the hot subs! Domenick and his wife were so warm and friendly. It is a little more expensive then your chain restaurants but it is worth it for the quality of the food!

We were in a hurry when we got here and they were nice enough to get to our order right away. It wasn't to bad. I say if you are in the area and want to try something local, check it out.

We just happened upon Domenick's last night looking for another New York Pizzeria. When we realized a family of five couldn't sit down and eat, we went searching for something else. Down the road, we found Domenick's Pizza, a gem hiding. We found awesome pizza. The crust was thin and crunchy, the pizza wasn't burdened down with greasy ingredients like the other pizza places. Domenick, himself with a real Italian accent, stood there and told us his life story. When we left, we felt like family. He came to the United States from Napoli, Italy when he was 15 years old, namely New York City. He taught New York City how to make pizza. He found himself in Cedar Park and opened Domenick's on 6th Street and worked there for 16 years. He sold the 6th street location and opened one in Cedar Park. He looked old so he probably wanted something closer to home. We looked around and the patrons that came in were either Italian or they had lived in Italy. They all sounded like something out of The Godfather. It was an awesome experience to be a part of. Okay, back to the pizza. They have other dishes like sandwiches, salads, and dinners (eggplant, chicken parmigiana etc). He makes the ingredients fresh everyday. Even the parmigiana cheese at the table tasted fresh. I can't wait to try the other dishes. With everyone waiting on us, I think we met the whole family. My children loved the pizza and they are picky so it rated 5 stars on their chart. I have looked on this site for years but this is the first restuarant I strongly felt compelled to review. Pizza in Texas will never tast exactly like New York or even Italy but this is the best pizza with an authentic New York Italian behind it.

Pros: Awesome pizza, love the family, ice cream place next door.

Cons: A little small under 10 tables but definitely can sit comfortably.
