Well, my experience with this place is far from perfect... I came here for laser hair removal on my legs and underarms, and was initially very glad that there were no contracts to sign. However, my happiness was short-lived. The laser technician Shannon appears nice when she tells you how great the results would be and how easy the laser hair removal works, but after I got LOTS of big red spots (and I mean -- BRIGHT RED) on my legs and underarms, she said that this is normal, and that I shouldn't worry. However, the next day I noticed that some of these spots became blisters, and my regular physician said that my skin has been burned. Not to mention, it hurts like hell, especially on the underarms... Save yourself some trouble and do laser hair removal elsewhere!

I am so appreciative for WellSpring. I have polycystic ovarian syndrome which causes hair growth on my face and neck along with a great deal of embarrassment. Previous attempts at laser hair removal were unsuccessful, until I found WellSpring. Shannon made me feel so comfortable and unashamed. Through trial and error we found a treatment schedule that finally works for me!! My only regret is I didn't find this place years ago.

My daughter had a mark on her face right under her eye. As she has gotten older it has gotten bigger! Most people ask her "What happened to you?" or "Who did you get into a fight with?" She was so tired of it, she would not answer anymore. Now that she is going into middle school, I knew it would be a big issue for her. We went to a pediatric physician who sent us to a Pediatric Dermatologist. Their answer was the laser, but it had to be done in a hospital setting, only because that is where their laser was. It was going to cost me over $2,000, not including what my insurance would cover!!! I was heart broken, till I mentioned it to Shannon. Shannon set aside some of her time to take a look and felt very confident she could help. She was very compassionate with my 11 yr old and took her time to make sure she was comfortable. She even applied numbing cream after the appointment and let her come back an hour later so it could soak in!! No body would do that, you would be rescheduled for another visit!! I love Shannon and the whole office. They are always on time, always willing to help and answer questions, and very professional. My daughter is very excited about her treatment and results and I will continue to see them as well.

Unfortunately, i would have to agree with the negative review... I did not get burned, but the tissues under my skin were hurting for several months after I had laser hair removal done at this place... It never happened at any other laser facility I went to (and I've been to a number of them in the past 5 years). Yes, this place has no longterm contracts, but instead of assisting me with the problem, the laser technician just mumbled and did not offer any help or resolution. So I had to spend quite a bit for cream prescriptions that my dermatologist gave me... I will never do another treatment here again! Also, it seems rather strange that after almost a year of no reviews for this business, there were suddenly 15 positive reviews in 2 weeks after some other people expressed their concerns about this business' practices... Seems like the owner of is writing positive reviews herself. Scam indeed!

okay, so i went to this place after having read all the good reviews, and did laser treatment on my legs and underarms. my god, did i regret it later! the laser technician shannon seemed as an approachable person and was chatting about her husband the whole time that she was performing the treatment, but the results were extremely disappointing... both my legs and underarms got burned and are in pain for several weeks already. when i called her and told about the problem, she said that it is probably the skin condition that i have and that it has nothing to do with laser. but then she also said that the dermatologist in that office would take a look at me, IF i have medical insurance. what a scam! avoid this place, it's deceitful and unprofessional :(

After years of being uncomfortable with scarring on my face from ingrown hairs from plucking and waxing, I discovered Shannon! I started going to Shannon over 2 years ago for Laser on my face, and have continued to go to her for other things. She definitely knows what she's doing, and even knows to use a special laser machine on me since I have a darker complexion. Most places just have one machine.

I went for laser hair removal and my hair has NOT grown back!!! I used to be ashamed about my dark hair but NOW, I am no longer ashamed and feel great in a bathing suit, in Skirts and more...:)
Shannon is so kind and caring I could not ask for better service...

I can't say anyting but great things about this place. Shannon is wonderful, as well as the rest of the staff, and they all constantly go out of their way to provide great service... even to come in on a Saturday for a laser hair removal treatment. Wellspring DermaSpa is clean and up to date on the latest technology and skin care. I would recommend any friend or family member to try Wellsprings out. You won't be disappointed!

I had heinous spider veins on the back of both thighs. They covered about 4 inches x 4 inches around. I wouldn't even wear shorts. After a few visits to Wellsprings, the laser treatment cleared those up, along with others on my ankles.

I also get laser hair removal. I started with my armpits thinking that's all I would do. Now I have done several other areas as well. I like how they don't charge you a couple thousand dollars up front like other places. I can come in and pay as I go along, which spreads out the costs nicely...especially when I have have the motto "all brown hair must go!"

I am thrilled to stop the hassle of shaving. It is amazing how nice that feels when you're on vacation. It's even better when you get goose bumps and your leg hair doesn't shoot out!

I started with Shannon two years ago thinking I would just have my bikini line lazered, but after enjoying the benefits of that, went on to have my under arms and full legs done. I am frugal, so the fact that I went further is a huge testimony. Shannon knows what she is doing, is very accommodating, gentle and professional, and there is never a dull or uncomfortable moment with her. I actually enjoy getting lazered!

I have also sent my son in for Shannon to lazer the beard on his neck. We are fans!

Wellsprings Dermaspa has superior customer service, great prices without any long contract locking you into package deals, and a welcoming environment. Their chemical peels are better than I have gotten in any dermatology office. The laser hair removal under my arms was definitely worth the money. Their owner/tech, Shannon is truly interested in helping you with your individual problems and it doesn't hurt that she's a great listener too.

After reading all the good reviews, I decided to try this place for laser hair removal. Oh how I regretted this! This was the first time that I got BURNED pretty badly. I've had several treatments at different places in NYC before, and all of them were excellent on treating my hair, without burning my skin. The owner Shanon denied all the responsibility, saying that it is "normal" to get skin burns after laser hair removal. It has been several months since my appointment with her, but my skin still hasn't healed, and the tissues underneath it continue to hurt. Very, very, very disappointed. This place is a real scam...

Avoid this place at all costs. I went here for a laser hair removal, and this laser technician girl Shannon burned my skin with her laser, and denied all the responsibility, even though I asked her to use lower temperature settings. The prices that she charges for burning your body are also much higher than some of the other places downtown. DO NOT GO HERE, THIS PLACE IS UNPROFESSIONAL & RIPOFF!!!

I have had a rosacea problem since the birth of my second son which has really bothered me. Immedatley after my first photofacial session I saw a major difference in my skin... it was unbelieveable. Shannon made me feel so confortable we talked about anything and everything. I had a total of 3 sessions of photofacials and no longer can see any traces of rosacea. I was so impressed that I had my husband come in to get hair removal from around his ears. He was so comfortable that I was able to get him to come back without any argument, that's amzaing!

I was referred to Shannon for laser hair removal, and let me tell you, I should have done this YEARS ago. Shannon is very friendly and eases any fellings of awkwardness (bikini area and all). And the results are spectacular. I started out with underarm and bikini area, and I was so pleased that I added other areas. The prices are very reasonable, and Shannon is realistic about what you need. If you don't need 6 sessions, she'll tell you so.

After some intial hesitation, I scheduled a consultation with Shannon (laser hair removal on my legs) and she made me feel comfortable immediately. She is very personable and easy to trust with your treatment. While there is some discomfort involved, it is to be expected, but does not really hurt. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to have the procedure done. The cost varies and starts at $ 50 per treatment depending on where you have the proceudre done and regardless requires six treatments with each about every six weeks. I only wish I had done this sooner- it's great to not have to shave.

Shannon is the best certified laser technician I have ever been to!!! I'm from New York City (where there are a million of laser treatment spas) and Shannon is still the only person I trust my skin with. I had lots of freckles and sun spots, and after visiting Shannon they have completely disappeared. Shannon understands how different skin types react to laser treatments. She makes sure that you are getting the best possible treatment for your skin and the best possible results!! She honestly cares about her clients and does not waste your time or money. The prices are also very competitive and reasonable compared to similar places.

Shannon has been my skin consultant for 2+ years. My initial visits were for photofacials. I had tons of large to small freckles on my face from tanning when I was a kid. Now, my face is freckle free. Later I had laser hair removal - again with extremely positive results. Shannon cares about her patients and wants each indiivdual to achieve the optimum results without excessive treatments.

Getting prepared for my upcoming wedding, I needed help getting my skin looking perfect, I needed to get rid of those ugly sun spots. I did my research online and came across Shannon, had my first visit with her and was hooked. She took complete care of my skin, granted I needed 5 laser treatments, she made sure that with each treatment, I received great results. She tried different lasers to get different results, which I was kind of worried about, but she had it all under control. Shannon makes each visit very personable and as enjoyable as a laser treatment can be. I would recommend Shannon and her treatments to anyone.

I went to Wellsprings DermaSpa to get Laser Hair Removal on my face. I had been very insecure and very self concious about getting it done. I met with Shannon to talk about the procedure, She explained the procedure and made me feel very comfortable. I have been getting the laser done on my face and it has made a huge difference in my life. Shannon has been very helpful and really cares about you and the outcome of the treatment. I don't why I didn't do this sooner in my life, but I am glad I found Wellsprings DermaSpa and am now getting the hair removed. It is Great! I will never go anywhere else.

Ten years ago, I got a tattoo on my ankle. I've wanted to get it removed for some time now, but have been reluctant as price and pain were both concerns. Finally, I did some research and started an email correspondance with Andy at Wellsprings Derma Spa. I was really impressed with his knowledge and willingness to answer my questions. I had my first appointment with Shannon last January. She was extremely knowledgable about the procedure and took the time to thoroughly explain the process of tattoo removal. She clearly expressed the time commintment I would have to make to the process as well as the amount of healing time required. I have now had two sessions with her, and am extremely happy with the results. My tattoo is starting to fade, and there has been absolutely no scarring. Thanks to Shannon, I will soon have 'pure' skin again!

I work in the day and have two young kids so it is very difficult for me to have appointments during the day. Shannon Hicks has worked around my schedule doing treatments in the evenings and even on weekends. She is very sweet and attentive and knows what she is doing. I have recommended her to all my friends and because of their referral policy have received many Gift Certificates to reduce the cost of my Laser Hair Removal treatments. The Laser she uses is very comfortable and my results have been great. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

About a year ago I went to another spa in Austin to get a Photofacial and got blistered. Then a friend told me about Shannon at Wellsprings DermaSpa. I called her and she convinced me to try it again. She said that she was the owner as well as the technician and the last thing she wanted was for me to go around town with blisters on my face, telling everyone where she got them. She told me how she would do the procedure correctly and then she did a free test spot to prove to me that she wasnt going to burn me. Three days later I did the entire procedure and was amazed at the incredible results. The sun damage my face received over the years has now vanished after three treatments and my skin is even-toned and looks better than I ever imagined it could.
